I don't know man, I wrote those posts in a sleep-deprived haze one night. I'm not sure there's anything in 40k, canonically, that deals with the same topics.

40k lore tends to be very... paint by numbers. Some of the authors do a decent job of adding complexity and examining the human aspects of the setting. Some stuff even approaches literature.

But the rest? Clancy-esque War Porn.

The posts were designed to be starting points - just a few aspects you could use to build an /interesting/ Krieger character, one that could actually interact with a squad of people in ways other than "I clean my gun and kill things, as ordered."
By the way, if you're 12, this isn't the board for you.

i know the history of the emperor(well a part because his origins are a mistery)
the age of strife, the begining of the empirium and the current 41 millenia(not a lot of horus but i know tha basics.

-The Eisenhorn Trilogy, Dan Abnett
-The Ravenor Triloty, Dan Abnett
-The Calpurnia Trilogy/Enforcer, Matthew Farrer
-The Night Lords Trilogy, ADB

That should give you plenty to work with.
