Sorry if it's not related, but hey, riddles and puzzles are pretty /tg/.
Can anyone help me figure this out?
I got:
1. Edward
2. Ditheringspoon
3. Adams
4. Clark
5. Baines
I guess Clarke was lying, other wise it wouldn't have worked. I think I'm wrong tho because it says "Ditheringspoon's" so he's probably first.

D>A>C>B>E
Providing that lower means did worse.

Either of you know what the Russian Prize is?
>>50523025
If Baines is last then Clarke can't be second last. It's the person in last place who is lying.

It's a separate prize. It has no real effect on the riddle other than to make you think Clarke is in last place.

Presumably a similar award to the aforementioned "Spanish prize"

I go Dithering Adams Clarke Baines Elliott, with the Russian Prize being a red herring/neutral info
I got Elliott>Ditheringspoon>Adams>Clarke>Baines, and I suppose what you could say about the winner of the Russian Prize is that he's the fourth-best at Spanish?
Just spitballing though

Damn. I actually misread the thing about one of 'em lying. Never mind.

1. Ditheringspoon
2. Adams
3. Clarke
4. Baines
5. ElliotIf Elliot is right then Baines must be lying and he can't be or 1E-4C-5B doesn't make sense, therefore Elliot is lying and came last.
