Your ship has entered the Weft!

The weft is a realm of order. Dust in the weft naturally arranges itself into geometric patterns which go on forever. It is populated by beings which look like free-roaming hypercubes which are non aggressive, fastidiously polite, can render themselves intangible and fix machines and people who come through it by radiating near them. They also convert any daemons and so forth into more of themselves. Traveling one meter in the weft is the equivalent of traveling at most 0.5 meters in real space at the level of the weft closest to realspace. Psykers caught in the weft gradually become mentally stable.

So the anti-warp?

Sounds like a great place to store things. Is this the dimension that bags of holding access?
>>
>>50512854
Especially machines since the I habitants fix them by their very presence... Hey this must be the domain of the Machine God.
>>
>>50512337
...but isn't human life dependent on inherently unstable chemical reactions happening in cells? If this place minimizes entropy then it would be deadly for us.
>>
>>50512337
Ok.

Can I leave now?
>>
>>50513520
The Weft moves towards the minimum entropy overall--it is, like the Warp, a semi-conscious reflection of the universe, with manifestations in the form of the hyper cubes. Letting your body die and decay would cause their world to gain more entropy overall than allowing a few reactions to occur.

In this way, you can get similar "reality-breaking" things on occasion when real creatures enter the Weft, just like when they enter the Warp. As the Weft tries to compensate more and more for your entropy, more weird shit starts happening. So don't stay for too long!

In the image there is something that also mentioned "The Weft", OP's post reminded me of it and I posted it.

If you are confused by the image, it's just a parody of budget fantasy movies with too much cumbersome and silly worldbuilding

The universe tending towards minimum entropy would lead to lots of thermodynamic bullshit. Spontaneous reactions start running the opposite direction. Things fall up gradients, not down them. You're right in that the Weft is equally hostile to regular life, though, because eventually your biological processes will stop working properly, in a complex and disastrous way.

>>50518235
Don't forget the hornless rat!

It's just a normal rat, but it's associated with the weft for no adequately explained reason, so people worship it as a god.

>>
>>50530861
01-05 The Oratory: The Psyker orates in bliss as controlled weft energies surge through his mind. He must make a Willpower Test or lose 1d5 Insanity Points.

06-09 Weft Extinguish: A peaceful burst of energy from the weft gently enters the Psyker’s mind, instilling confidence. He is immune to stuns for 1d5 Rounds.

10-13 Psychic Softening: With a slow escalation of energy the Psyker can't be knocked unconscious for 1d5 Rounds and everyone within 3d10 metres must make a Willpower Test or be immune to stuns for a Round.

14-18 Psy-Implosion: There is an implosion of power and the Psyker is lowered 1d10 metres into the ground, gaining cover.

19-24 Soul Healing: Weft power courses through the Psyker’s body, mending his very soul. The Psyker doubles the effects of all his powers and loses 5 Corruption points.

25-30 Unbound: The power frees the Psyker from any bonds, physical or mental. The Psyker regains consciousness if he is unconscious, all possessions end as the possessing entity is expelled from the Psyker, and all physical bonds shatter to dust which forms a complex geometric pattern on all nearby surfaces.
>>
>>50531714
31-38 Chronological Stability: Timelines become more defined around the Psyker. Treat any non-d100 dice roll in 1d10 meters within the Psyker as having resulted in an average value (round up), and any d100 roll as having resulted in a critical, be it success or failure.

39-46 Psychic Mirror: All psychic effects that targets the Psyker is reflected back at its source. Resolve the power normally, but the target is its source. Should the power be of benefit, it may affect the Psyker normally if he so chooses.

47-55 Weft Silence: All sounds cease within 4d10 metres of the Psyker. Everyone in the area (including the Psyker) must make a Willpower Test at +20 or lose 1d10 Corruption Points.

56-61 Mens Sana in Corpore Sano: The Psyker’s connection between his mind and body is reinforced. The Psyker and a creature of his choice witbin 50 meters lose 1d5 Insanity Points. Iff there are no creatures within this range, the Psyker loses 1d10 Insanity Points instead.
>>
>>50531741
62-67 Bright Summoning: A Lesser Hypercube manifests into existence within 3d10 metres of the Psyker for 1d10 Rounds or until it is slain. It adores the Psyker and protects the genius that summoned it.

68-72 Ethereal Calm: All sentient creatures (including the Psyker) within 1d100 metres heal 1d10 wounds.

73-78 Fractal Snow: A psychic cold front erupts, covering an area of 5d10 metres. In addition to gentle snowfall with fractal snowflakes, any Psychic Powers used in the area automatically invoke the Safeties of the Weft for 1d5 Rounds.

79-82 Weft Emergence: The Psyker’s power escalates, seeping out in orderly waves of weft energy. Anyone within 2d10 metres of him (including the Psyker) heals 1d10+5 wounds and all of the Psyker’s clothing and gear are repaired to pristine condition, gaining Reliable quality or similar as appropriate.

83-86 Mass Depossession: Hypercubes repair the minds of every living thing within 1d100 metres for 2d10 Rounds. Every character in the area must Test Willpower at the start of their Turn. A failed Test indicates that the character experiences a moment of utter clarity, and his Intelligence counts as 5 higher for the Turn. Characters that also fail the Test lose 1d5 Corruption Points.

87-90 The Bonds of the Void: Reality buckles and all gravity within 1d100 metres doubles for 1d10 Rounds. Weapon ranges, movement rates, jump distances and other relevant values are halved, as appropriate.

91-99 Cubehost: The Psyker must immediately pass a Willpower Test at +30 or be visited by a Hypercube and become a Cubehost! Create Greater Hypercube that will immediately invite itself to the premises the Psyker currently ocuupies. Only a pleasant pasttime in the company of a Hypercube will free the Psyker (and he may not die - in the process his body is impervious to all harm). If the Psyker manages to be a proper host for 4 hours, he automatically loses 4d10 Corruption Points.

100 Nothing: Nothing happens on this result.

Man, though, the Weftway sucks. You won't run into a friendly hypercube and you move backwards in real space. Plus it's full of overly-optimistic squats.
