Moments of Glory

Never had one, it's well known among my groups that I always roll poorly when it's imperative to roll great.

I lost half my chars to nat1 in Fort while always being the one with most Fort by a large margin for example, last time I had to roll against DC 12 (at 7th level) while having Fort 16, I nat1'd, they used me as hostage and then killed me.

Just today I rolled three 1s and two 2s and I almost drown, while my char has 17 to swim and the DC was 20.

>start off in a huge city, get a job to steal some diamonds
>slowly turns into the rogue doing most of the work and me sorta bumbling behind him

>continue falling then land on a guard knockin him out

>the group follow suit but all mange to roll far better than me
>cleric does healing things and im sorta ok

>everyone failed to roll the perception check, but me i got a 16

>roll for init, we all failed miserable and the guard goes first

Playing Rogue Trader as the captain. My group has absolutely zero faith in my captaining skills. I am for all intents and purposes rather bumbling, but have both the luck and the station to disregard this fact. I am also rather physically weak and the only one in my group who does not have power armor despite being able to use it (the Emperor's will is all the protection I really need).

Cue ambush by orks at one point as one of our party and 5 of our men are stranded. After a hasty retreat they make it to our vehicle with no casualties before all managing to get snagged by brambles just before getting into the vehicle.

One roll later and my veritable nerd of a rogue trader manages to drag all 6 of them into the vehicle at ounce as we begin to drive.

Not a thank you from the lot of them.

Not me exactly but it still fits

I have the same problem, shit like that is why I use the roll down system.

And that's likely the most awesomely pulled moment I ever did.
