It's my go to system for FPS games. For some reason, it feels fitting (probably all the guns).

Also, one of the settings is about Victorian monster hunting with weird science.

WoD isn't good for action. Savage Worlds is good for pulp. Fragged Aeternum will probably work, but it's not out yet. I don't like Victoriana, but it fits.

If you like percentile, and you want it to be gritty, it should work.

Actually, that kind of works. Obviously you'll have to make your own weapons, items and character generation system (just make new backgrounds, etc.), but it's a good system to represent when guns are usually the most effective choice and there's still a place for melee.

Dark Heresy's also got the whole subtlety/influence thing and is based around investigating before combat. Sounds like it'd work quite well for The Order.

Looking to GM Deadlands in the future and the setting seems more in line for The Order 1886 but if you'd be willing to refit some parts of Dark Heresy I would second that first.

Agree on this, Deadland would fit well, but I cans see Dark Heresy do the trick but possibly needs a bit more work and has much more clunky system to force through when redoing it.

Which is Savage Worlds btw so that and the Victorian setting some one mentioned and you're precticly there.
