I don't know, but if I can run one through three different solvers and none of them can finish it, I'm inclined to believe it is a poorly made puzzle.

There's a shit ton of picross games on the ds and 3ds for cheap-ass prizes and good quality. there's also this website called griddlers.net wich has a huge ton of them and even daily downloadble ones, although the puzzles on the site are mainly fucking insane in terms of difficulty and complexity.

I prefer the more classic 1 color squares only kind of picross but if you want some funky-ass shit the website is alright. the also sell picross books wich are probably more logical.
