WHFB's Vampire Counts always had a good mix of various types.

Gonna get crucified for bringing this up, but DIO in JoJo is a good example of a vampire that maximizes the use of his abilities. In Phantom Blood, he was heavily characterized as enjoying his powers and really being showy about it. He makes undead minions out of anyone he comes across, as well as weird monsters like animals with people heads and shit, just because he can. In Stardust Crusaders, he becomes obsessed with boosting The World's ability to become even more powerful, too.
From a character perspective, he's really a selfish prick and evil for the sake of evil, but he's all about the immortality and the vampire powers and shit.

Type-Moon does a pretty cool twist on the whole vampires also being wizards thing.

What you're thinking of are just the first examples whose grouping everything else was also just shoved in. A magus that extended his life by replacing his body parts one at a time would be classified as a vampire, right alongside a more traditional one.

Also being vampiric is different to being a vampire in Moon-world, just sometimes confused.
Primal Murder have vampiric trait, but not really a vampire, same goes for Medusa.

Since no-one has said it yet, I'll plug American Vampire. I always loved the idea of there being many different "breeds" of vampires, so that you could incorporate all the best mythological and pop-cultural renditions, and the Old-World vs. New World thing is also pretty neat.

I also just love the aesthetic, with the American vampires appearing mostly human, and then distorting with huge unhinged jaws and razor-sharp foot-long claws when they get agitated.

Yes and no. The biggest problem is the format that it's written in, being serialized preventing it from establishing a strong overarching story. Also I think the loli would have worked better as an outright villain, as her character is written to be ruthless and calculating but the writer seems to shy away from her doing anything actually evil.

I like vampire children, especially if they never age or fully grow out of a child's natural tendency for magical thinking. Yeah, the 500 year old with the body of an 8 year old is insanely mature for an 8 year old, but still sees aspects of existence through the lens of "it just works."

Kids are naturally cruel, too, far more cruel and selfish than an adult. Naturally, vampire children will always be more brutal than vampire adults. They're sad beings, naturally eliciting an emotional reaction from players. Here's this kid that should have been playing with toys and such but had their life completely fucked by becoming a vampire, cursed to be in the smallest minority of a minority, longing for a playmate or a parent but cursed to an eternity of despair and bloodshed.

I use the sad vampire child trope every now and then to great effect. My PCs usually fall exactly into the trap laid by the big bad. They try to cure the kid (which kills the kid) or take them with them (which kills the players). It's great.

It was a non-magical setting. I let him deface the stone, because doing so did nothing. But then he wanted to deface another. And another. And then the other players were forming labor crews and figuring out shifts to search for and destroy every stone they found. And no one cared that the coastal sister-city had been raided, the people slaughtered and arranged in some sacrilegious pattern, because the standing stones must have caused this.

I can't even blame them. I have to blame the shitty GMs who instilled them with the bad habits instead.

Nah, I do that shit sparingly. They kept vamp kid as a tag along for a little while, tried to change his ways. Kid lasted a few sessions while they showed it that you didn't have to kill people to feed, that you could drain only bad guys or animals. They taught the kid some tricks to help him out in the world before they called in a favor from a guard that they'd helped out earlier. Guard took the kid to a couple of farmers that couldn't have kids of their own.

Kid became a recurring character in campaigns set in that world. The party liked seeing what he was getting up to.

They turned the kid into a sort of vampire child Batman, teaching him various useful skills and instilling a sort of Chaotic Good morality in him. Kid was supposed to be a one-off miniboss that got bypassed (along with the rest of the castle). When they killed the head vamp, all the vamps he made died. The kid was older than the head vamp, so he lived.

Players find a kid wandering the catacombs of the vamp castle and take him with them. They thought he was going to be a snack, so they "saved" him. They almost ended him when they figured out that he was a vampire, but the token chick at the table managed to convince the other 3 to put their pointy sticks down. The rest is detailed above.

Isolated, Lecher Bitch and the Downtown BGM were the best songs in VTMB.

Also playing the game through the first two times (first as the "sexy secretary" female Tremere and then as the male Malk who gets the pimp fur coat and the glorious Cat in the Hat stovepipe) was brilliant. Going from being a super serious character to having arguments with stop signs was really great.

Also, the Malk's reaction when he realises just who has been driving him round the city in the cab was hilarious.

That's in regards to physical abilities only. Marble Phantasm lets her recreate any possible event under Gaia's rules of physics. In her regular form the most she can pull off is dropping the Moon and with her Authority as a Type (Archetype: Earth), she can just trap the opponent in a pocket dimension and then initiate the Big Bang within.
