So my group wants to do a Western game, probably using Aces and Eights. While we're definitely going trope-heavy (vacqueros, saloon shootouts and US Marshals, oh my!), I'm having trouble finding decent setting material.
Does /tg/ have any tips for running an Old West game?

Well honestly, anything you can rope into it from Blazing Saddles would fly with me, but I'm one of those "If it's funny it flies" kind of guy a lot of the time.

Use the "Boss Nigger"I'm not joking, that is a thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-Fig_LoBy4as a original setting idea/ plot hook for a western town with black sheriff becoming new sheriff at the same time as players come to town
Always have at least one Mexican standoff
This probably ain't gonna help you if you're a yank but if you're an Eurabian then you could look into stuff like Blueberry or Tex Willer for inspiration.
