If you don't wanna bother checking out all of them, then Dr. Eureka would be my best suggestion.

Though it depends on where you're having the date. If it's in a coffee shop or something then Dr. Eureka might not be the best choice because you might have parts flying around. I'm assuming it's not, though, since you're bringing a board game.

If you are playing in public, New York 1901 and Otrio take up a lot of room, so they're kind of a pain.

How to win Splendor

>Disregard nobles, acquire gems
>Save up for blue cards, don't buy anything else

As long as your opponent buys small-dicked green cards and works his way up, this tactic will work every time.

This can also be regarded as how NOT to play Splendor with strangers.
