I unironically want to base a tiefling's appearance off of long hair!Ky Kiske, just slapping on a single horn on his forehead, then a lion tail because Prehensile tail is too fun to pass up. Except it's all disguise based off his ideal "hero", and in reality he has stringy grey hair, sunken, tired eyes, and super pale skin from never going outside.

That map is outdated, the Prussia of the setting is Molthune (More Nazis) while the HRE is labeled (Huge International Clusterfuck.)

They're an Imperialist oligarchy that operates under Prussian government standards (which is to say, the military budget and state budget are one and the same) and have spent much effort to expand their realm in the Inner Sea, particularly against the peaceful agricultural kingdom of Nirmathas.

On the surface she is just a sweet innocent elf girl what do? who aims to please and get along as best she can with everyone. Her dagger is sharper then her tongue and her fingers are faster than her blade and she swears she saw your lost ring over here in the bushes that only she seems to able to find. That little trick has gotten her out of trouble 3 times now. She doesnt think her luck will ever run out and has a very happy-go-lucky attitude about it.

Currently she is running jobs for her guild while adventuring with the party. Her skills as a "troubleshooter" got her into the group and it was the perfect excuse for her to be sent out and about into the world to collect dues, tithes, and coin for her boss. Each town they visit has drops and pickups for her to take care of, though the groups inquisitor is starting to catch on.

She has a soft spot for him and really wants to troubleshoot her way through him every way she can and the forbidden tension is crazy strong between the two of them. They tease all the time like they are daring the other to try something to breach their code of conduct and enjoy each other.

I'd love to be the fly on the wall for those sessions, because cute n' peppy types are by *far* the sweetest things, and she's got that in spades. Of course, and even then he'll keep it away! He hung up the sword a long time ago to pick up the paintbrush and devote himself to a lifetime of creation after spending his youth as a swordsman, he wants to "give" after a life of "take!"

Besides, he's got a sword cane for the more typical encounters, the Dueling Sword is for when he accepts his fate and takes up the blade to restore the rightful Amatatsu heir to the Jade Throne!

This conversation isn't the only "hard" thing you'll be dealing with if he supports the relationship! And trust me, you kinda have to at least ask him OOC if a relationship is okay, since inter-player stuff like that tends to need some level of screening.

For real though, you seem to love the thought of this thief girl hooking up with the Inquisitor, you really do need to try and advance the relationship tonight if you want to take it to the next level.

That reminds me, I need to do that with my party! More than just a single mugshot, at least.

So i am about to join a new party and everyone begged me to get a Cleric or a Paladin because no one is on heal duty, so every single encounter ends up with them almost dying on the spot and then resting a fucking lot so i decided i would fill that role.

The thing is i hate being so straightforward, dont just want a boring Cleric with Healing domain to heal and call it a day.

What are some good uncommon ways of being a healer? Maybe alchemist? Get some healing potions and throw them at people to heal them? What are some good healer alternatives that arent Cleric or Paladin?

PoW's Creation Zealot does his healing as a free action and does immediate action damage reduction + suppressing status effects. They are what you need in your life because you are one or the best healers AS AN AFTERTHOUGHT, you still wreck face as a full initiator.

In what way? There is more detail than this as to why his father has this cruel vendetta but I didn't want to make too long of a post. To summarize it he is actually the son of the father's rival who died years ago. His wife cheated on him, the son was born and the rival died. No he did do a lot about it, but as a military sailor he had to leave on campaign so was gone for extended periods of time. He returned after six months to find out what had happened. The mother was abusive but thing basically started going down hill from mild to extreme abuse and the character couldn't do much because he was gone.

The father revealed it by accident, essentially caught by the son in a lie and admitted to it.

It wasn't the guard the character was put into a military unit. For reference the game starts at level 8 so I'm a lot stronger than a guard and an established competent military man enjoying some reputation up until this point.

I've been comtemplating adding some house rules into my pathfinder sessions, and I was interested in getting your guy's take on it

>Medium/Heavy Armor don't give as much AC anymore, but rather now gives DR (DR5 for medium, DR 10 for Heavy), and gain further AC and DR against different types of damage based on the materials they're made with/enchantments you give them
>Light Armor give increased AC(further increased with magical enchantents)
My goal with this is to differentiate between AC being "how easily you are hit," and giving actual armor the capability of "reducing how much damage you take."

Magic Users
>Any spell that normally requires a standard action now requires a full-round action. However, spells whose levels are 2 or lower than your highest known spell can be cast with standard actions. (I.E You're a 10th level sorcerer, knowing up to 5th level spells. 5th and 4th level spells require a full-round, though spell levels 0-3 can be cast with a standard action).
>Quicken Metamagic reduces the casting time by a tier (Full-Round -> Standard, Standard -> Swift).
I'm hoping this will lower the overall power level of casters, but give them a sense of becoming more adept with magic as they increase in levels.

In context for my setting, I'm planning on a relatively low-magic campaign, hence the changes for magic. What are your guys' take on this?

Gestalt's actually a whole lot of fun! People like to say it's overpowered - and it can be - but there's many combinations you can play in it that are simply unavailable elsewhere!

The most popular combination by far is Paladin|Oracle, but you can do all sorts of neat things like Paladin|Steelfist, Warder|Slayer, or Barbarian|Brawler (or as I like to call it, the Brawlbarian.)

My personal favorite gestalt combo is to take Druid on one side with the Ambush Hunter Ranger on the other side. It's pretty "nature theme" heavy, but means you can have both a full set of spellcasting and an animal companion capable of meaningfully contributing to combat in fun and interesting ways. Excellent action economy too.

Is it great? Nah. There's plenty of stronger combinations. But it's fun.

I played a Warder|Investigartor not too long ago, primarily because I wanted to make use of my high intelligence for skills as well as sneak attacks for supplemental stuff.

Practically speaking, I ended up as the focus character for the group, since I ended up taking Orator because the party had no face, on top of being the frontline combatant and the person who actually knows everything about what we were fighting.

The team made it less fun due to being butthurt about me hogging the spotlight, but the character was a lot of fun for me,

Technically speaking, companion creatures get their own turn, but for the sake of simplicity most GMs roll the companion's turn into the player's turn, so your wolf buddy will act on the same initiative as your druid.

All companion creatures get their own set of actions. If you somehow manage to have your character, a familiar, an animal companion, and an eidolon, you effectively have four standard actions and four move actions, one of each for each character.

As such, "they have their own moves and actions, but share turns" is generally what occurs.

Yeah, here in Canada, when I made infrequent trips between provinces, I often found that it was only about 10% to 15% more expensive to take a plane than a bus, which is convenient because said plane would only take an hour to go between the places I was going, versus the eight hours a bus would go with, usually in the middle of the night with much worse conditions for travel (such as being extremely cold)

How does one go about making an effective bard?

I've been playing the game for years, and not oncve have I seen a bard that wasn't a waste of space. I'm downright certain the class is better than I've seen it played, but I can't for the life of me figure out how it's supposed to contribute outside of a few spells, which alchemists, wizards, and sorcerers could do better.

This fight at 17mins (because 4chan doesn't like correctly jumping to time in embeded videos) is basically lunge and vital strike vs sunder line of feats.

Well she wanted a lot of kids, and a fortune teller foretold that she'd have lots of kids! She prayed everyday that she'd have lots of kids! So BAM the gods gave her a divine baby maker. Unfortunatly, there's a certain deity that likes messing with fertility. One former demon named Lamastu.

Realistically, she'd hit the minor god levels at around baby 30, and GOOD news everyone! She's already at kid 15! Bad news is they from Lamastu cultists.
