I told him that if that was all it took to make them stop voting then they obviously don't care about the candidate enough. Then he started talking about how 50% of the population is given the same right to vote and how democracy is inherently flawed (yeah, no shit, but it's better than all the worse forms of government).
I 100% guarantee you he would have flipped on all of those points if Hillary were winning.
