Kick him and then tell his RA/Dean of Students about his suicidal tendencies. He might be sincere, but he was no right to place that. Harden on you and you are not required to emotionally support some one who is taking advantage of your decency at trying to help them. All you should do is feel sorry for him and hope he gets support he needs.

Alright, thanks guys. I guess I knew this was probably what I had to do, but I'd been feeling like a bit of an asshole for still considering it after the threats. This will probably be better for everyone, in the long run.

You can tell authorities, but be aware about school staff, they may try to convince you to keep the fucker so he won't do anything, because that would be very bad for their reputation. They may just want to throw their problems at you.

Oddly similar to my situation but me as the player and less of an ass, all you can do is tell him to man the fuck up and if this is so important to him then act like it, work with the other players and if he doesn't want to play the game as it is then he should leave and stop wasting everyone's time. If he is legit that suicidal then there is nothing you can do to stop it or fix him and its selfish of him to make things worse for everyone else so he can continue his shitty life a little bit longer.

Don't feel bad. The entire point of playing tabletop RPGs is to play out a fantasy with a group of other people. Your job as DM is to ensure that everyone is putting in the effort to make the game an enjoyable experience. If one person is making everyone miserable, knows it, and most importantly, doesn't plan on doing anything to change themselves, you should feel no grief "kicking the faggot out".

It's college, not highschool. If they try to tell you to keep him, then ask for counselor pay. Unless they provide funding for new books or playmats as an official university gaming club, then they have no more ability to tell you to keep him than they do to tell you who to take out drinking.
