Bushido, Tenra Bansho Zero, Blood & Honour? Maybe Qin or Legends Of The Wulin if you're ok with China & Wuxia instead.

The Blossoms are Falling, companion piece to the Burning Wheel. N.B. tBaF is set in a very specific time period of Japanese history, the Heian period to be precise. This is long before the Sengoku Jidai, or Tokugawa Shogunate most people are familiar with, with the Samurai just starting to emerge as a social class.

It's good. Basically made to do all the coolest shit you can think of. Described as "Hyper Asian". Rolling mechanic's pretty neat, too. You basically have a dice pool equal to your attribute and have a number you have to roll under for a die to count as a success which is your skill level. Feels really nice to use, especially on challenges you're good at. It basically keeps every character build relevant to an extent.

I'll have to not play it while drunk, because some of the rules are kind of fuzzy in my head.
