To me Ratboy Genius has a spark of genuine creativity. His cartoons may be crude and often in the uncanny valley, but they remind me of when I was a kid trying to think of these big adventures, and on top of that RBG is a pretty decent musician. I honestly don't like to see people making fun of him or liking his work ironically as a joke, he's done nothing mean spirited and doesn't deserve the jokes at his expense.

What game to start with depends entirely on what you're interested in, OP. Crime dramas, science fiction, medieval fantasy, urban fantasy, horror, mystery, and many other genres have several rpgs dedicated to them. Many tv shows, videogames, books, and movies often have their own dedicated rpg as well.
