'Sup, /tg/. I heard you like combining settings to make awesome shit, if Disney Villains Victorious is any indication.

So, I've decided to make a setting, a post-apocalyptic one?

What apocalypse, you ask? All of them.
Tensions spiked and nukes went flying, the dead rose, aliens set their sites on Earth, Dread Cthulhu rose from the waves as the stars were finally right, and all manner of monsters were awakened through either massive amounts of radiation, ancient prophecies, or man's tampering in God's domain. Godzilla shot down UFOs, Jaegers tangled with Martian tripods, and deathclaws were deployed alongside Indominus rexes.

Now, it's 200 years later. The dust has finally settled, and humanity has just barely held on. Beasts from the depths of space and time immemorial alike now share the Earth, and radiation has made everything a hell of a lot more interesting.

I'll be posting what I have so far momentarily. We've done this before, /tg/. Let us do it again.

By most accounts, Earth is fucked. The various superweapons and unholy ancient artifacts slung by both sides wreaked havoc on the very fabric of reality, and their aftereffects will no doubt still linger on for millions of years to come.

North America is a blasted shithole. Graboids and deathclaws roam the deserts, temporally displaced dinosaurs are all over the place, and there's more giant ants, sapient apes, and living dead than you can shake a stick at.
The cities are even worse: If they aren't radiation-blasted husks, there's something worse living there.

Europe is a slightly less blasted shithole. The UK is being choked in a biological arms race between Martian Red Weed and human-engineered Triffids, and not much is managing to do to well against both of them.

By far the biggest problem you need to worry about are the kaiju. It's less a specific creature and more just a term for really, really huge creatures.
Kaiju come in all shapes and sizes, and most have unusual powers of some sort. Almost all of them can consume radiation in some way, shape, or form, and almost all of them can regenerate from wounds.
Exactly what kaiju you'll find in your neck of the woods varies by your location, but there are a few particularly common types:
>Meganula
Colossal dragonfly-like insects from Earth's ancient past, either reanimated from suspended animation in a mineshaft or pulled through a time portal, take your pick. They're fast, armored, and hungry, and they're never alone. They need to lay their eggs in water, so they're never far off. You don't want to meet their queens.
>Otachi
The descendants of a particularly dangerous alien-made kaiju, these creatures are fully capable of flight, often topping most aircraft in sheer speed. They can spit acid, carry off huge creatures, and their second set of jaws is nothing to sneeze at. Luckily, they tend to work alone or in pairs, although it isn't uncommon to see them pairing up with another kaiju.
>Kamacuras
One of the smaller kaiju, but by no means the safest. Kamacuras are gargantuan praying mantises that stand anywhere from 20 to 80 feet tall. They're fast, often hunt in packs, and can change color to camouflage themselves with their environment. Even worse, they have a taste for human flesh. Luckily, they're fairly fragile as kaiju go.
>Zilla
Not to be confused with the Big Guy, these guys are all descended from one creature that laid a clutch of eggs in New York City before being put down during the beginning of the End. They're extremely fast runners, able to outpace most vehicles, and excellent climbers, leapers, and diggers. They reproduce through parthogenesis, meaning that just one can quickly become an infestation. They like to live near coastlines, and have a taste for fish.

This is basically just the core RIFTS setting, isn't it?

>awesome shit
>Disney Villains Victorious

You need to remove a word for that to make sense.

>MUTOs
Simultaneously one of the least and most dangerous kaiju out there, MUTOs are ancient kaiju, even by their standards, and one of the strangest in terms of differences between males and females. Males are smaller, can fly, and produce an electromagnetic pulse that wreaks havoc on most electronics, while females are much larger eight-legged killing machines. Their primary food source seems to be radiation, making them both a blessing and a curse: a blessing because they can effectively soak up the radiation in contaminated areas, and a curse because they don't mind eating meat if it's been seasoned with radiation, as most inhabitants of the wasteland are.
>Gyaos
One of the absolute worst of the worst, gyaos aren't the biggest kaiju by a long shot, nor are they the fastest. But they're among the most numerous and the hungriest: a single gyaos can eat almost twice its body weight in a single sitting. And they never fly alone; they travel in flocks of over a dozen, usually led by a larger, stronger 'Super' Gyaos.
>Ookondoru
Immense mutated vultures or condors the size of a large airplane. They like to scavenge dead whales and other kills left by other kaiju, but they won't pass up live prey when they get the chance. Rumors of a battleship-sized individual remain unconfirmed.
>Ebirah
Shrimp-lobster monsters the size of whales, these are among the least aggressive kaiju out there, but are among the hardest to kill, thanks to their thick armor. Luckily, other kaiju view them as a delicacy, and they're more than capable of bringing the crustaceans down.

Eh, kind of, with a lot more influence from B-movies.
Anyways...

Kaiju are far from the only plus-sized threats out there. Insects have proved readily able to survive the apocalypse, rapidly mutating into colossal new forms. From car-sized spiders to man-sized horseshoe crabs to the immense ants known only as Them!, arthropods are very much at the forefront of this new world.

Not all of the monsters now roaming the world were created accidentally. Many were created in laboratories for usage as living weapons during the days of the End. Deathclaw, night stalker, sharktopus, Indominus Rex; these are just a few of the bioengineered horrors that now stalk the world.
>>
So, yeah, that's about it. Any ideas, /tg/?
>>
You mentioned Dread Cuthulu; perhaps he and his Deep Ones now live openly on the North-East Coast of America, slowly gathering power?
Or perhaps that alien invasion was half successful and the New Martian Empire is slowly slughtering its way through England?
Perhaps Supergod happened and every nation made a Horrible Idea Supersoldier and those were the first wave of alien horrors that slipped through?
>>
>>50006367
Well, about that...

Cthulhu got the living shit bombed out of him as soon as R'lyeh broke the surface. Turns out aliens freak out at the sight of tentacled horrors beyond the scope of the mortal mind just as badly as we do.

The Deep Ones and the various other Great Old Ones, however, are still active; needless to say, the Big C's death has caused quite the political vaccuum to form.
>>
So it's a basically a Gamma World, or that weird setting, Low Life. Where happens Apocalypse. All of them.
>>
>>50006515
Yeah, I got a lot of inspiration from Gamma World for this.
>>
Fun idea.
>>
Love it. Dropping all this into my Savage Rifts game. It needs a big dose of kaiju amd Them!
>>
So what's the alien race? You mentioned Martian Weed so are we under attack from Tri-Pod Horrors?
>>
>New Mars
Located in what was once France a burgoning forest of steel carpeted by bodies and red has emerged. In the two hundred years since the End the Invaders have not sat idle; no they have built a fortress of steel from which to launch raids against the remains of mankind from,
