Would that work on baseline earth you think? I've been trying to find cross-dimensional things that fiat give you a multiverse even if one isn't already in place. I think I mentioned it a thread back but the idea is if you go home and you feel the need to multiverse-trek, is there anything that would fiat give you a multiverse

Obviously text is a little sparse but decided to post this as I'm still doing it and I'm still after ideas for perks, items and drawbacks.

If anyone has any ideas for Black Dynamite let me know.

>>49975567
I take drawback enemies all the time but as far as annoyance goes in Schlock Mercenary: The Teraport Wars the Gavs thought I was Teri and did A lot of maneuvering and social engineering to limit my influence and resources in an attempt to stop my growth.

Please banchou stop talking in my place.

As for your question, I've made a total of 25 jumps.
The reason why people joke about my jumps being long is because in total I've written 1800 pages for /jc/, and my longest pair were at 269 and 222 pages long. Hence why people joke about my jumps being 1000 pages.

>>
>>49975604
Hero BBS magic explicitly can let you travel through the multiverse, even outside your local sector, but can't take you to a world that you know of from fiction. You can go to very close approximations, but no actual fictional world. Like going to a Magical Girl setting where "planets" are the theme, but not actually Sailor moon.
>>
>>>49975334

Lol, I used to have "SB's head Chakat Exterminator" in my signature for like a decade before I changed it.

I almost want to make a jump just to curbstomp it, but I don't have the self hatred needed to punish myself by making that jump.
>>
>>49975924
Make it a Black Crusade jump, since we're clearly not getting right now.
>>
>>49975845
FF T-0, 9, 10, 12, 12-RW, 13 1-3, 14, Dissidia, FF-CC, Dark Cloud 1/2, Blame, Knights of Sidonia, Biomega, Warriors Orochi, Golden Sky Stories, Ragnarok, Atelier Arland, Recettear, ARIA, Zoids Legacy, Gravity Rush, Siren Blood Curse.

My jumps can have an annoying tendency of being overly wordy, and my general formatting style is pretty recognizable.
>>
>>49975924
Asking Kanons would be a good idea, but to the best of my knowledge nobody has claimed it.
>>
>>49975567
Zacharis Frost, the 5edgy7me villain of a Gundam SEED fanfiction that I retained a fanfiction drawback when I went to that jump just so I could fight him. He wouldn't be so bad (after all, I chose to fight him) if he didn't keep coming back to life. For fuck's sake, Noah, "cloning a serial killer and modifying him into a psychic cyborg" wasn't a good plan the first time, why did you make so many spares?
>>
>>49975924
Cultist Chan Heresy drawback when?
>>
>>49975604
Why not? The Rick and Morty game Pocket Mortys has dog and rabbit versions of Morty from alternate realities. I don't see why, when a huge chunk of our fiction has animal people in it, you couldn't go to generic animal people universe that incorporates chunks of the furry fandom's collective worldbuilding.

>The english text of the Scenario is blacked out (tried in both browser reader and Adobe reader)?

Intentional, I never reveal the contents of the scenario while it's still in conception. It won't stop a person from actually taking a look, and the Korean titles are already fitting, so people that know Korean will have a slight idea.

>Your "rough skeleton" is as good or better than many of the "complete" jumps.
Thanks? I just don't like releasing things before IC0.5.

Hey, Dirge? Quick Sidonia question, if you've got a minute.

Does Learmond's [True Body] option mean he can add real Cores to humans who have grafted Gauna placenta to themselves? The wording comes across more as a statement of general fact than a description of what the option does.

>>49976361
Works fine for me, anon, but I went ahead and screencapped it for you.
>>
>>49976634
Yes he can add True Cores, since that's essentially the Gauna's "heart", but on a normal human the resulting True Core will probably be structurally weaker than a normal True Core. (For one thing it'll probably be smaller than a normal Gauna)
>>
>>49976402
I think she's at work. The problem with your suggestion is that the Sorcerer Background is based on TBBEG who is also an Immortal. Also, I think there is an immortal of each of the backgrounds, thou it has been a long time since I played the game.

Can jopires survive having their head completely blown off?
>>
>>49976695
Thank you for your time.
>>
>>49976735
which head?
>>
>>49976735
If the head is still intact, then they can survive as a severed head. Having their head reduced to chunks would probably end them.
>>
>>49976735
No. While they can survive without their body (and even that was difficult for Dio, if I remember correctly), the destruction of their head or even their brain will kill them. In Part 3, after Polnareff stabs DIO in the head, DIO taunts him by stating that if he aimed a bit better, he (Polnareff) would have killed him (DIO). Again, this is if I'm remembering correctly.
>>
>>49976735
At one point Dio just starts digging around in his brain to demonstrate how immortal he is. So they can at the very least handle losing a good bit of brain matter.
>>
>>49976771
Witch head.
>>
>>49976806
Correction, it wasn't his aim that was off, it was that he wasn't using enough force. Then again, given this >>49976809, DIO might have just made that up to taunt Polnareff. Then again again, that was DIO after he drank Joseph's blood, so who knows.
>>
>>49976806
Didn't Dio survive being completely bisected though?
>>
>>49975859
That's perfectly normal paranoia. Everybody has that, Anon.
>>
>>49976874
I don't remember that. I know Jonathan used the revived knight's sword after enhancing it with Hamon on him, but I don't remember him being bisected by it.
>>
>>49976695
Dirge, can't find the currently circulating WiP of Knights of Sidonia. Mind throwing it up here?
>>
>>49976874
Yeah, but since the brain is naturally split in half by the hemispheres it's not hard to survive having your brain cut in half laterally. That's just separating the corpus callosum, it causes some long-term difficulties but is perfectly survivable. Normal humans can do it, it's all the blood vessels being separated by the sword on its way through the rest of your head that would kill you. Vampires don't need those blood vessels, though, so it's probably not a big deal.

>>49976988
Have a link to my archive of dirge's stuff. Some of it's already on the drive, but this has all the things that he hasn't put up yet: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B1noIvfC0-n5WkZyZGJ5WWFGRUk

>>
>>49977007
Huh. Weird. Wonder why I forgot about that.
>>
>>49977004
The corpus callosum doesn't split your entire central nervous system in half, you're still cutting the base of the brain stem in half, which is the part that's most vital for life. You can survive getting a large portion of your frontal lobe removed but damage to the primal parts of the brain is almost always fatal.

>>49976477

Wanted to post a thank-you for the "rough" Shin Angyo Onshi jump.

I had never heard of the series before, but reading over the jump got me very interested in the original work. Guess I have a lot of reading to do now.

I look forward to jumping it when you consider it to be a more finished release.

Anon's CP Price Review!

Background Cost / Discountable Background Perks / All Perks Available To Background
000 / 2500 / 10500 Drop-In
000 / 1900 / 09900 Scientist
200 / 2300 / 09900 Syndicate/Kaijin (gets discount on multiple Monstrous Power purchases)
400 / 5600 / 11700 Skull Man (gets extra 200 for powers and another 100 from a mandatory drawback)

Conclusion:
Drop-In = raid the fridge, loot the cupboards and blow this popsicle stand
Scientist = if you're in it for the cake at the end and/or the army of minions
Syndicate/Kaijin = for the monsters at heart (hey, it's a step up from the furries!)
Skull Man = for the tortured souls who want to complain about how OP they are

Anon's CP Price Review does not calculate the comparative quality of perks, only their price. Anon's CP Price Review may not apply in all chains. Anon's CP Price Review disclaims all responsibility in all universes, multiverses and omniverses, real, imagined or otherwise. Remember, shop smart, shop S-Mart!
>>
>>49977039
Your version is outdated unfortunately.
>>
>>49977060
Fair enough. Looking at the image again it looks like the sword continued down into Dio's neck, not just cutting the head, so it would have hit the brainstem and his spine. I was going with just his head being cut in half.

Hmmm that skull man jump is interesting.

A fair number of Learmond's modifications are a bit too special to really learn, and they don't all reflect normal possible branches to Gauna modification.

Soft Warmth [100, Free for Celestia] – There is good and love in all things, and you’ve learned how to properly express such to those who need it. You have an absolutely charming or adorable smile and demeanor, and will find it easy to make a good first impression on others, especially those who are down in the dumps or in need of encouragement. Alternatively, you can appear dumber and more adorable than you actually are (sort of like a braindead puppy), which is disarming in more ways than one. Works best when meeting someone for the first time or when they’re not sure what to expect from you.

I had this asked of me the first time I posted up the F version. It was decided that the option wouldn't be available, at the time because alternative options to create a Chimera already existed. The cost reductions between the initial IC .99 and F versions were made to accommodate that.

There does exist another problem with the Chimera origin, largely because while theoretical perks could be implemented, it would require a rather substantial overhaul of some other perks that have currently overlapping features. On top of that the crucial nature of the Chimera makes some logistic details about the jump a fair bit of a challenge.

>>49977601
If you have samples of Gauna to work with, and the proper scientific base you might be able to work towards a foundation.
>>
>>49977626
old post from anon who found the sauce for the warehouse pictured in the pdf calc'd it at 6m tall at the walls, 7.5m tall at the centre:
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/44161267/#44163355

So you could use that, and double it if you bought the Loft, or you could go with the other option which is pretty much "tall as you need it to be, but you must buy Loft to stack anything". Personally I go with the former. Or just fanwank something reasonable along those lines.
>>
>>49977626
>>49977673
>>49977698

If it helps, my fanwank (including Loft upgrade) is a total of 80ft at the edges, with a slope to a 100ft peak at the center. 200ft wide, 400ft deep because doubled space.

Personal recommendation if you put hard limits on your Warehouse is to get some kind of shrinking ability early on. Harry Potter, Venture Brothers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes all have shrinking abilities purchasable in increasing amounts of CP.
>>
>>49977772
In that case, can said other options (I'm assuming you're referring to Learmond, Apotheosis and the Not So Human line) take Chimera options? Particularly the Adapted Particle Collector.
>>
>>49977673
>>49977812
40ft is closer to 12m than 6m. But I agree with the shrinking ability. Also the Sims jump can be taken early in your chain as it's reasonably safe and it offers a basement.
>>
>>49977940
>not getting the digitizer ray and storing all your shit on your hyper beefy laptop from splinter cell after you've been to code lyoko
It takes up half of a desk worth of space and it's almost endless with enough -2bit files from SCP or yottabyte flashdrives from Youtube.

Alternatively If you're a robot with Supreme Mind from Avengers you can skip all that and just beam it all into your memory. Since you have infinite storage space you can theoretically stuff the entirety of the death star into your head.
No clue what would happen if you turned back into a human though.
>>
>>49978129
Pop like a grape?
>>
>>49978037
Sure. Adaptations made to the companion option. It was just a change of one line.
>>
>>49978152
Well you'd still have infinite storage space, but it's not stored digitally anymore so I guess you'd just have a bunch of ones and zeros burned into your memory that you couldn't do anything with.
Maybe with biotech you could still acess it, but I don't think you'd die.
Although if it all materialized inside your head that would be one hell of a way to suicide bomb.

The Unlosing Jumper [600, Discount for Earth] – The greater multiverse calls Earth insignificant, and humans a backwater species about as relevant as disco is to the present day. They scoff at the heroic spirit of humanity and heroes as a whole, who shout with hot-blooded determination against the screaming darkness of evil. After all, such a thing is absolutely useless and laughable in the long run, right?

They’re wrong. And you know it.

You’ve either managed to unlock a hidden power within yourself or managed to become delusional enough to bend reality a particular way. Whatever the case, your determination is no longer stupidity or stubbornness alone – it is a very real power. You can create energy born of your heroic spirit instead of mana or innate power in your body, limited only by your strength of character and your soul’s might. That’s not it, either. The more you fit the archetype of a hero as a Ranger, a Rider, or anyone else the innocent can look up to with hope – unsubtle, loud, hot-blooded, kind-hearted and determined – the more potent the roaring power of your passion. A losing battle becomes a head-to-head struggle, a declaration of protection becomes a turning point in history, and a confession of love becomes the moment a villain finally changes sides.

At a low level, this acts as a durability boost and an alternate energy source...but at high levels, and with the right amount of determination? There will be very little a true hero cannot do.

Capstone boost: Able to make Ranger belts and other Tokusatsu gear that runs on the same power – heroic spirit, basically.

So I listened to too much Getter Robo and remembered Zettai Hero Project was a thing. So I skipped ahead a bit and made the Earth capstone. Thoughts?

No, though she does use it to poke and prod at things. It's actually a little proxy tentacle she extends into the air ducts so she can explore the Sidonia without her giant body breaking stuff. It is admittedly super phallic, though, and while it doesn't happen to her there are some gags about her sibling chimera Kanata being mistaken for some rapey tentacle monster.

It totally happens to her. Izana was never the same after that meeting.

When Nagate takes Izana to visit for the first time, and Tsumugi essentially feels them both up. Nagate gave permission. Izana was just kinda along for the ride.

I don't remember if that was anime-only or not, so that might have something to do with the confusion.

One more for the road. This one is a drawback.
Etna – Professional Peanut Gallery [+0] – At least a day before a major event happens to you, or before a jump begins, Etna herself (or some of your companions) will give a hilariously inaccurate ‘next episode’ preview of what will happen. They tend to involve her taking the spotlight somehow, even if she’s dead or otherwise unavailable in later jumps. You and your companions are free to act as a peanut gallery to this, but it won’t have any real bearing on your adventures. Occasionally, Etna’s predictions will be dead serious and completely accurate...but by then, you’ll be so used to the silliness that it will be hard to believe or see coming.

That sounds more like a perk really. Especially how you're supposed to keep it for further jumps.
It's a fun idea and I like it, but I don't think it belongs in the drawback section.
Mostly because if I want to turn it off with toggle I could as a perk, but as a drawback once it's gone it's gone.

Wow, the 1970 power set is so expensive you can almost buy both of the others and pay the same amount. That's weird. I mean, not complaining or anything, it's just...that's kind of weird.

Also, Skull Man and a few Dirge jump updates, I think.
>>
>>49979343
Not much, Heavens has been dumping Disgaea perks, some anon's been making a really good but cp draining Skullman jump, SJ-Chan is working on a jump with a name I can't remember, Dirge has been making a few updates, and the first anon you linked to was thinking about making a Guyver jump (I hope). This goes into fanwank territory, but...here's your sample of what to expect. I highly recommend Megalovania or some other sort of evil-punishing perk. This is one of the most fucked up individuals in the NIS-verse.

It culminated in Redwall with that drawback.
>>
>>49979503
God, that ending was fucked up. Actually, that whole path was fucked up. Revya was pure evil. The funniest thing is that you and I had the same idea for a maximum drawback, though mine was for Soul Nomad.
>>
Hey doods, The Skull Man is effectively finished. Give it a good look over and critique before I make it official. Here ya go:
>>
>>49979787
>No drawback limit
You are a saint. Other then this >>49979339, which is a little weird, I have no complaints. Excellent work, anon.
>>
>>49979872
I missed that. The thing is Skull Man 1970 was a one-shot character who was super OP compared to the rest of the setting. Besides the point of letting you buy powers individually is that you are your own unique Skull Man separate from the cannon one. It is a little weird but that's the reality of the character.
>>
>>49979787
In the Skull Suit description it says cannon when you mean to say canon.

>>49979897
And also you did it again here.
>>
>>49979910
I see. My bad, I wasn't thinking about them as being different. I can be dumb sometimes, I'll fix it.
>>
>>49979910
Actually, scratch this, hit ctrl+f with the document open, search for cannon, and please fix all instances of the this mistake.

>>49979922
No worries. Sorry if I sounded like a dick.
>>
>>49979897
It's cool, I was just a little confused by it, but if the original Skull Man was intended to be OP for his situation that makes sense. By the way, does Pain and Suffering still give cp even as a Skull Man, or does it being mandatory mean it doesn't give cp?
>>
>>49979934
generally mandatory drawbacks do not give cp, i'll add in a note to make it clear.
>>
>>49979942
I figured, it just didn't say anything so I was unsure. Wait, what does the Syndicate/Byakureikai drawback mean when it says that the generals and leaders will be more then powerful enough to give me a run for my money? Do they scale? If so, shouldn't that be worth more cp?
>>
>>49979974
It does mean that, and yeah, it should be one of the +600cp drawbacks. I'll change it. I'll also make the text clearer.
>>
>>49979994
Does Skull Armour only enhance the Psychic Powers that it states in the description, or does it enhance all of your Powers that are Psychic in nature?
>>
>>49979994
Yeesh, that'll be a pain. I'll have to take this relatively early it seems, otherwise Skull Man might get overwhelmed. Actually, speaking of, the Skull Man drawback mentions both the 1970 and 1988 ones, do we have to fight both? Also, the only way to kill the original is to burn him alive, given that that is how his Grandfather killed him. Does that also work on the drawback one? And does that cancel out the Skull Rebirth perk as well? Like, if someone burned me alive, would that prevent me from coming back?
>>
>>49980014
It will enhance other psychic powers, i'll note that but the exact level of it enhancing other psychic powers is a bit iffy, ya know?

>>49979994
You only have to fight the Skull Man from your era, I'll change some of the wording a bit. And yeah burning him alive will work but it will require you to do so by mundane means and not by your powers. I'll put in some notes on all this. And no, since it's already restricted during the chain and since the fire the would be removed post chain anyway if I did include it, no burning you alive will not truly kill you.
>>
>>49980032
I meant to reply to you but fucked it up. my bad. It's late.
>>
>>49980077
I read you. I just wanted to know if wearing it would benefit those as well in some way. I tend to play pretty loose in regards to exact power levels and such. Thanks.
>>
>>49980077
Gotcha, gotcha, that makes sense, I can work with that.

...I can contemplating killing a hero, admittedly an anti-hero but still a hero, in a horrific way for more cp. WHAT KIND OF MONSTER HAVE I BECOME?!

>>49980086
It's cool, man, like you said it's late. No one can blame you for that. Also, do we have to fight both the Syndicate and the other group who I will not name because it's too much effort.
>>
>>49980115
I mean, they're in two different eras, aren't they?
>>
All issues stated up to this point have been fixed. Here's the 0.8 WIP. Keep up any criticisms or questions ya got.

>>49980115

I kinda want a Black Mirror jump, but I'm not sure how one would work, seeing as how every episode basically takes place in its own universe.
>>
>>49980281
Just make that a part of the jump, where you may randomly shift verse or it changes under a specific circumstance. The location roll would be which universe you begin in. Eh?
>>

Is that just Kamen rider magic systems? Or do you mean literally any kind of magic system.
Because that's arguably borked.
>>
>>49980245
>A Habit of Burning
>Get caught in a severe fire every few months
>Inconvenient
Uh, I'd say that's a little more then inconvenient, especially since we can't extinguish it or resist it.
>>
>>49980427

I guess lowering it to "They can learn one style and then they're set like that"
I just meant tos ay that they have generic mana pools they can use for magic systems
Nothing says they actually KNOW how to use that or even know the systems
>>
>>49980446
If it just gives them access to mana and potential then it makes sense. I don't think you need to limit them to just one style.
It's just that some magic systems don't use pools and are genetic or don't make sense at all so I was just uncertain how much "any" really meant.
>>
>>49980395
Looks good. Now we just need to make sure no donut-eating hope junkies get caught in the Sabbath by accident, because if that happens we're screwed.
>>
>>49980446
So, on a scale of 1 to 10, how much trouble would I get in in-setting for causing a White Sabbath? Black Sabbath would obviously piss off the Riders, but would the White Sabbath also be something they hold against me or would they just shrug it off?
>>
>>49980489

White Sabbath would just get you odd looks and maybe questions of "How" from Haruto
White Wizard would get all sorts of alarm bells though
Maybe Haruto gets a little worked up that you're making more potential Phantoms since he seems to think the best way of handling that is to just destroy the phantoms instead of allowing more Wizards to occur and risk a death
>>
>>49980510
That raises a good question, though: Can the Gates created this way spawn Phantoms through natural despair, or only if another Phantom does their harassment campaign?
>>
>>49980510
Eh, that's fair, I suppose. Though now I'm curious if I can help people who were affected by the ritual become Wizards. That would be interesting. How do Phantoms work? Are they sort of like Shadows or something?
>>
>>49980537
They're similar. The way it works is that anyone who becomes a Gate generates an embryonic Phantom inside them. Should the Gate be driven to absolute despair (not very hard, apparently, but that's probably just poor writing rather than Gates being inherently inclined to despair), the Phantom starts to emerge. At this point, three things can happen: The Phantom can emerge, eat the Gate, and mature into a more humanoid appearance that can also disguise itself as the original human. Alternatively, a wizard can enter into the Gate's soul and battle the Phantom, in its full giant monster form, but killing the Phantom actually destroys the host's ability to use magic. Finally, the Gate can manage to overpower the Phantom as it emerges, bind it inside their soul, and gain access to magic that way. If you know how, you can also take someone else's Phantom and bind it inside your soul, if you're not natively a Gate. That's how Kamen Rider Beast got his powers, Beast Chimera is some ancient Phantom born in a lost age. The villain, Wiseman, also got his magic that way, though he used some poorly-explained "artificial Phantom" that probably didn't come from a soul at all. From what we see he grows them in vats like Homunculi.
>>
>>49980607
Ah, I see. In that case, would it be possible for a Wizard to help the Gate fight the Phantom and overcome it, thus enabling them to become a Wizard themselves? Or is that just something they have to do themselves?
>>
>>49980395
Wait, I just thought of something, doesn't this fit that other background more, what was it called, the one that was focused on magic, with the capstone being Sorcerer's Apprentice or something?
>>
>>49980646
Maybe? That doesn't ever happen that we see. But, some of the Gates that Wizard and Beast save without destroying their Phantom (they killed the Phantoms targeting them before they could do it) do later get recruited by the White Wizard and taught to be magicians. So it's possible that the White Wizard's training involved bringing them to despair then assisting them in subduing their Phantom. Emotion-manipulating magic may also help. The best way to subdue the Phantom is to manage to fight off the despair, so some sort of hope spell would work well.
>>
>>49980656

The Outcast is also focused on magic but it's focused on using it for yourself or otherwise crafting things while the Academic is focused on building up servants and resources.
I.E Outcast is more of the crafter/summoner sidekick while Academic is the villainous perkline
Hence why the capstone is basically "turn a bunch of people into monsters for your experiments" and the 200/100 is an academy of easily molded talented young people to more or less use as more subordinates, potential assets or test subjects

>>49980520
Natural despair would work, so he's not 100% wrong. I don't think they'd Crack as fast as the ones in wizard though

>>49980683
this is correct, it's not impossible to try and get them through that
I'd say it's possible and a good idea to help people take on their Phantoms instead of leaving them to it though
>>
>>49980759
>Natural despair would work, so he's not 100% wrong. I don't think they'd Crack as fast as the ones in wizard though
So it's a bit of a double-edged sword, then. You give people magic, but risk that if they ever become depressed enough they'll spawn monsters.

Then, find whoever has taken command of Blackwatch, and slap the shit out of them until they realize “Ye Olde Knights” is a bad theme. After that, provide medical care for the surviving citizens of the city. I'll tell these citizens all about how Blackwatch was an government agency made to create and fight biological weapons. Originally I though that Baal was the enemy you have to face in drawback and I was like meh because I did not really care much about that.

But now that I know that the drawback summons a completely evil monster who had never faced any sort of retribution for his horrible actions. It makes me want to fight him.

Murder of Bloodcrows [+300] ...Assassins fucking everywhere. Okay then.

Sort of sad I can't afford some Marat stuff, since it sounds pretty good. Tasty, tasty courage... But spirit-pokemon and blood magic seemed really fun.

Anyhow, I have no real clue what's going on here. Sort of considering handing this First Lord some rejuvenant treatment or or resurrecting the dead heir... Or making a power grab myself.

5. Saved Ace, ranged teleportation and substituting him for a doppleganger so Luffy would still get that kick in the pants he 'needs' was maybe too much but it made the meeting between the three of them in the New World for the 'Flare Flare Fruit' really emotional.
6. I gave Sabo the Moa Moa no Mi.
7. Helped Luffy by training him in an actual martial arts. (Hamon training on top of a health dose of Ranma's personal boot camp, rudimentary Anything Goes training. Ranma kinda just took over it so I let him.)

If it wasn't obvious my objective to stay the fuck away from Plot failed. Now I have Sabo in a Pod and I need to import him so the best choice is obvious! (Not really I just don't want to go rooting through the Jumps for CI's when I personally made one.)

The game isn't out yet, but it doesn't look like it so far. Pokemon Jump is simple and open ended enough that you could probably start in Alola and do most of the things in the new region/games just using it. They'd have to do something radical for a new jump to be needed for the experience.

Yeah sure, I mean there isn't really a specific layout.

More just that initially I was trying to copy the format of the Pokemon jump and then 20 something jumps later it got increasingly bastardised.

I mean I'd release a publisher file with blank boxes in place but nobody else in the world owns publisher as far as I know. Always wondered what microsoft publisher was for, turns out it's good for making imaged jumps with minimal effort.
>>

Guys, I just wanna note before this escalates any that the jump doesn't have a timeline, or a specific setting. You've always been able to pick whether you wanna go games, manga, anime or some weird mish-mash that works for your plot. There's no starting date in the Jump itself, you can start in the new region by paying to select your own starting location and just say you start at the beginning of the game's events. That's a completely valid thing you could do with the Jump as it is.

>>49984341

Being fair, that is pretty great.
>>
>>49984609
Mmm. No. Pretty sure you're just the one guy in those two sets of posts, talking to himself to try and drum up some controversy. Nice try though, you really almost got me. Really. I mean it.

Whatever you want to tell yourself to keep the delusion up. In the meantime I'm just going to kick back and enjoy how he isn't around. Maybe if we're lucky he'll never come back, save us the attention whoring and the whiny low-power builds nobody gave a fuck about.
>>
>>49984626
So it's a generic Jump then. Setting specific Jumps always trump Generics. Or are we going to retread the Legend of Zelda argument?
>>
>>49984671
Sounds to me like you're trying to get more excuses to piss on another jump. The Zelda argument was just a massive bitchfest that we've seen only one extra jump from. One.

Nobody wants to see another massive fuckfest just for nothing to come of it all because someone got offended they couldn't have more.

Love & Peace [100, Free for Celestia] – Did I mention love is in all things yet? I don’t think I did, just wanted to make sure. You are now an expert in all things love-related...that is, what TV tells you about love. You can come up with passionate speeches above love and goodness in all things with a sincerity seen in only the pure-hearted or amazingly stupid. You might make a decent relationship consultant if you apply this with actual experience or knowledge, too.

I've stripped down a previous jump of content for a sort of template.

This is the obviously unusable .pdf but I've uploaded the .pub file to the new jumps folder.

Main things to remember to do in terms of imaging are to find (google) a suitable custom font for titles if you can, change the image on the first page for an actual image, change the colours of the background, boxes and borders for the boxes and wordart. I'll often find an image for the background as well although it's better to keep it subtle.

Personally I like to keep body text as Calibri as it reads well on a screen and you can make the font a little smaller when necessary if the font is easy to read.
>>
>>49980245
Bruh, you might want to recheck the opening for powers. It says " Other
Backgrounds may purchase these powers (unless otherwise noted)." I assume you meant that other backgrounds may not, instead.
There's also an error in skull armor, where it's described as "a suit of power" as opposed toa suit of power armor.

Sorrowful Angel [200, Discount for Celestia] – A tender heart is not a weakness. Angels and Demons live for a very long time and see many things – and so does a Jumper. Yet even as entire millennia roll on by, you don’t forger what your emotions tell you. A morning is still a brand new day, love is still as wonderful as your first, and an adventure always holds a newness to you. In short, age, cynicism nor mind control can dull or weaken your emotions in any capacity, and your common sense won’t suffer for it either.

>>
A Flower in the Desert [200, Discount for Celestia] – It’s strange. Maybe it’s because of your affable demeanor, or that you seem naturally weak compared to your allies or the rest of your species. Regardless, those who would otherwise be your natural enemies seem to tolerate your presence enough to let you hang around them. This doesn’t mean they respect you, exactly, but this may provide the rare opening you need to befriend someone or understand an enemy’s perspective...acting against them in any way will make this crumble for good, however. You wouldn’t take advantage of their kindness, would you?
>>
>>49985634
The perk tree is done now.

Morality Pet [400, Discount for Celestia] – It’s not enough to just be friends or an annoying sidekick to someone, however. It’s about bringing out the best in them, and to turn them over to the side of goodness! Or at least make them stop bullying you. The longer you’re around someone and make an effort to reach out to them, the more you’ll grow on them – your better qualities will start to rub off on them and they’ll feel increasingly hesitant to disappoint or hurt you in any capacity. In short, they get a soft spot for you and start picking up some of your habits and traits. Of course, you could use this to corrupt someone into a worse villain or turn them against their friends...but, why?

Wheels Within Wheels [400, Discount for Celestia] – Sometimes, sacrifices must be made for the greater good. Honesty. Friends. Family. An entire episode of Super Love Ranger. This is a truth you’ve learned to accept, and for it, you’ve become a master of subtlety and manipulation. You can overturn an entire organization or conspiracy with the right words to the right people, or perhaps the other way around. Century-long plans unravel in your hands, and what’s worse, only the most intelligent or most determined will ever find it out was you – as far as anyone else knows, you were just sitting in your garden all day.
>>
>>49985978
And the capstone.

Only the Pure of Heart [600, Discount for Celestia] – A unique property of Celestia’s equipment and abilities is being especially damaging or resistant to the wicked, to the point where they can’t even hold important artifacts without being burnt severely. You have internalized this and applied it to your abilities – now, any power or ability you use can damage the wicked. What constitutes as ‘wicked’ can vary, but so long as the target has willingly committed some sort of sin or misdeed, this will increase the damage they take from the attack. A jaywalker will feel an extra burn, while a homicidal maniac responsible for genocide will burn with the intensity of a sun. With some practice, you can adjust this power to apply also for what you would constitute as a ‘sin’...whether it would be ‘denying love’ or ‘defying me’, where the same rules of weight and intensity apply. Smite the wicked.

Ham and Cheese [100, Free for Earth] – A hero must be many things! Loud! Bold! Italics! Gallant! You are now a master of giving heroic, hot-blooded speeches and a master of posing dramatically. You can even temporarily pause the action and chaos around you by announcing your presence or making such a speech, making everyone stop and listen. It doesn’t guarantee they’ll be IMPRESSED, but they’re sure as hell hear you!

A Cry for Help! [200, Discount for Earth] – What is a hero without people to save?! Probably someone in a safe neighborhood, but damn it, that’s not where you’re needed! You can now sense when a nearby innocent is being harmed or threatened, along with a general idea of the intensity of the threat level or actual danger. All actions you take to arrive on the scene will conspire for you to arrive in the nick of time, but only if you devote all of your effort to doing so. Never fear! Jumper is here!

Productivity is the true enemy of stupidity.
>>
>>49986823
Not to mention that you can devote different amounts of people to your weapons to change their size and power. A full hundred-person weapon was huge. And then in the final mission you teamed up with the Space Pirates Guyzoch, doubling your members and letting you access two hundred-person weapons. Those were ridiculous. You could hit someone from halfway across the map with the melee weapons, let alone the ranged ones.

The Hero of Smiles! [200, Discount for Earth] – Even a bumbling, unlucky everyman forced into the shoes of a hero – or just a really dumb man with a talent for heroics – can inspire entire generations. When you do a good deed or significant act of heroism, someone will find a way to witness it, and the act will be an inspiration to those who follow a similar cause. Others will follow in your footsteps and tell your story for years to come, and you’ll be an idol to youth everywhere. Of course, this can equally apply to infamy...if you’re some VILLAIN. Which you aren’t, right? This can be toggled if you prefer discretion. Be aware that the public’s opinion of what happened, while still glowing and positive in most cases, tends to...exaggerate.

>>
Never Give Up! [400, Discount for Earth] – A true hero never backs down, even against the hordes of powerful demons or the unsettling fact of how tiny Earth is in comparison. True power comes from a heart full of courage! Your own determination grows to the point you are utterly fearless against all but the most eldritch of foes, and all attempts to control your mind or make you feel despair will burn away like ice against a hot summer day. This perk is greatly intensified if you are screaming at the top of your lungs in some capacity. Heroic speeches optional, but preferred.

My Comrade [400, Discount for Earth] – There are times when you must put aside your differences and work together with the villains, or help them see the light and abandon their nefarious ways. When a mutual enemy appears, your enemies will be more willing to temporarily ally with you as a necessity. More than that, when you defeat a foe, you can convince them to abandon their destructive or evil ways – and so long as a willingness for redemption and a slight hint of good is within them, it is likely you will succeed. If not, your enemy will continue on, but likely become more cordial to you and treat your rivalry more like a game or a daily occurrence than an actual life-or-death struggle...so long as some good is within them and you aren’t forced to put them down, of course. Absolute, irredeemable monsters need not apply.

Origin-specific perks are now done. The jump is about 30% done now.

>>49987736
GARO is the golden makai knight from the series of the same name. It's a pretty good franchise, adds horror elements to the toku formula. Every episode starts off as an often times genuinely disturbing horror story, only for this guy with a sword to appear halfway through, summon his magic armor, and cut the monster in half with his flaming sword. It's a fun concept, and the execution is great. Really good fight choreography for a TV show, lots of good wirework. The franchise is mostly live action, though the most recent installment was an anime.

Okay, I need input on this one. I came up with a way to handle Reincarnation. It's not something that's set in stone, but I wanted opinions on it.

Red Moon [Free/400] – For...obvious reasons, a Jumper can’t safely benefit from reincarnation in this world. The whole ‘dying’ part and all. However, you can instead willingly channel your energy into the Red Moon, creating a sort of pseudo-reincarnation. Your Level and all of your abilities (except for skills) will be reduced to their lowest possible intensity, and will slowly recover over time. In exchange for this temporary power-up letdown, your growth and learning rate greatly intensifies, especially if you go right back to punching above your own weight during the reduction in power. You can also willingly use a lesser version of this perk to weaken yourself or lower your level, then scale it back up or down from full power at will, though it will lack the growth boost. For 400 points, you can use this in any jump past this one.

Figuratively speaking, it's level one. Basically, your power is back to the level it would be if you were an amateur or had no natural talent for said ability. Or literally just got it and haven't trained it. If not, then it's at a tiny fraction of what your full power is.

So if you were, say, strong enough to lift up a battleship, you're down to about bench pressing an empty car. Make sense?

>>
>>49988444
Sounds like daddy gave him attention, alright.
>>
>>49988440
That's a bit more difficult to answer, especially since I'm leaving level and growth rates intentionally vague. I'm going to say the time to return to full power is longer depending on how far back you were scaled. It shouldn't be more than a month, tops, and that's only for folks who were in the level 1000s or had a fuckton of jumps on their belt. Which just means even more time to grow and gain experience in the meantime.

Please inform me if there's a problem with this, I'm honestly making this ruling off the cuff.

Here's the one yall have been waiting for.

Item World [Free/400] – Every weapon, armor, and gear has untapped potential. A sword, a gun, a plastic spoon – anything can become an artifact of legend with the right motivation. Such as journeying into the item’s own ‘world’ and beating the crap out of its imperfections. You and up to nine other people can enter this world, which will be entirely random and full of various monsters. The weaker the item is, the weaker the monsters will be, and vice-versa...truly powerful items of legend will create terrifying opponents indeed – Item Kings and even Item Gods, titanic foes who will slaughter the unwary party.

The further you journey into the item, the stronger it will become – and the stronger the enemies inside will be. Imperfections will disappear, and even a common household item can become worth ten times more than its weight in combat. This won’t directly improve or modify complex devices or weapons with a lot of working parts, but it will increase their output or raw power when in use. Be wary – you can’t bring the item whose Item World you’re entering with you, so bring a backup weapon or any extra gear you need. If the item is destroyed with you and company in it, you will be killed along with it. You can spend 400 points to keep this ability to enter Item Worlds post-jump.

first of all I want to say I'm certain this is going to be a standup jump . Second of all I'm curious as to if you have, in fact claimed akibaranger because i was very excited for it.
third of all that was not me claiming akibaranger.
>>
>>49988884
And on that day many jumpers died, not to some immeasurably powerful local entity, or a drawback induced flaw or foe, but to their own items, which had become ungodly powerful, and thus formed insanely powerful imperfections within its item world.

Aesthetics, sure, androids...eeeeeh. That subject is a bit dicey. I feel like you'd have better luck leveling them up like a character or training/building them than using the Item World.

Now, if they have detachable weapon or body parts that would qualify as RPG gear, hell yeah that'd work.

With optimized grinding in the game itself, you can climb from level 1 to level 9999 in several hours. Assuming a reasonable expansion of game-time to real-time, I'd say no more than a month of training?

That's assuming you're very good at grinding, and that you have at least one high-powered ally ready to help you train up.

How does CP appear to your jumper? Or how does your benefactor manifest it?

Does it take a physical form, or is it something that happens 'behind the curtain' and your jumper isn't even aware of?
>>
>>49988884
Two things. It may be worth noting the length of item world dungeons- AKA hundreds of islands connected by dimensional gates. And it's definitely worth mentioning that every item of Legendary rarity has a final boss with an improved or equal copy of the item equipped.

Oh, and third thing. Innocents. Gotta mention those guys.
>>
>>49989204
They are effectively just animals. Some may be smarter like the tabby slimes (cat slimes if you could't guess). But generally slimes seem just like plain old wild animals, with the bigger ones potentially being aggressive.
>>
>>49989135
The nearest equivalent is the best armor in D1, which is a powered exosuit. If it's something you wear or use, it's an item. If it's something you command or position like a unit, it's not an item.

I feel like such a fundamental part of leveling shouldn't be so expensive to carry with you, if you charge for it at all. Also, I thought reincarnation let you change classes as well? Along with having stats higher than a 'regular' level one.
>>
>>49989464
Still charging for it, anon, just because this and the Item World can get absolutely absurd in the right hands. Hell, that applies to most things this jump offers.

That said, unlike an NPC or a character in this world, you're not strictly locked into your class and the abilities you pick from them. You can learn outside of it and pick up other class skills just fine, it just takes longer. Using this pseudo-reincarnation basically makes it much easier, which is a temporary class change where you keep what you gain all in name.

You can assume the stat roll-over works similarly each time you use it.

Jumpchan shows me jumps via some kind of Archive Magic-esque hologram, providing commentary while I stand in a black void in between jumps. It is not terribly interesting.
The jumps, other than being shown via brightly glowing hologram, appear exactly as they are, which causes me to suspect that she must be subcontracting them out to someone, due to the wild fluctuation in tone and occasional referencing of her doing things she is clearly not doing.
On the upside, I usually get a lot of meta knowledge for scenarios ("... and then THIS will happen, and then THIS will happen, and then...").

CP is literally just a numerical offset. I might as well just be using a calculator.
