I'd never run it twice for the same group. But the iconic Burning Wheel scenarios, Hochen included, are flexible enough that different groups of players will do very different things with them, and as a GM it still makes it fresh to run.

Last game, two of the players decided that their characters were brothers, and that dynamic lead to some conflicts and scenes that probably never happened in Hochen before.

Besides, I'm the GM, so my having played it before just means I am better prepared.

This. I have run at least 5 or 6 gamefinder games, and have been in one or two as a player. All of then went well and only fell apart due to school/work/RL responsibilities. I've only come across one player who was a giant cunt. Regardless of that though, people who come on to gamefinder to talk shit are usually themselves also the shitters you don't want to play with. I've had mostly negative experiences with roll20 to recruit. Would rather have a soerg from tg who has a good sense of humor if not a little awkward than some normie making lolsorandum jokes all game.

When I hear Pathfinder/3.5 I think of less of the above with more edgy characters and more mechanics whoring, generally players that like having fun with friends a lot less.

Yet I have never had the interest in doing something that wasn't face 2 face. I feel that something will be lost with only text to go by. Basically, you have a large group, typically like 20+ players. I've seen them get up to hundreds.

You'll have a bunch of GMs all GMing individual games, and stories will sort of interact a little.

1. This will be a game where we all rotate as GM. If you play, you run. I will run the initial arc but after that I swap over to being a player and someone else runs, and we got in order until it comes back around.

3. About content: there will inevitably be some political banter. EP is a very politically charged game.

So let me state right up front that I am an evil bigoted racist. If that actually offends you, please do not join. Let me further add that I am an unrepentant weeb. Again, if this triggers you, you will not have fun in this game.

EP is also an extremely dark game with some very disturbing themes. The worst Dark Eldar look like saints in comparison to some of the common criminals of EP. That said, you will need to be able to stomach that shit, because happy endings are really rare and sometimes you're just fucked.

Finally, regarding sex: this is not an ERP game, but you're all adults. I'm not going to shut you down unless what you're doing is making the game unfun for others.

4. The general premise, at least regarding my arc of the campaign (setting aside the initial scenario in which people meet and get to know each other):

Guanxi - the currency of relationships. Expect to find yourselves caught up in webs of conspiracy and corruption.

Most of the plot I have in mind revolves around the Inner System's hypercorp politics and the criminal underworld.

At least as far as when I'm GMing, I don't really have plans to do anything with gatecrashing, ETIs, Jovians, Earth (Reclaimers are fair game), or Firewall. That doesn't mean that you should avoid these topics if you are interested in them, I strongly encourage you to run whatever you're most interested by.

Semi-newb here, wanting to try a Star Wars game (running it, that is) and was looking for some advice/suggestions/feedback: which system would you guys be more interested in? I'm leaning towards the West End system, but I'm a big enough newbie that my ignorance of any of the SW RPG's would probably be outweighed by a more experienced user.
