As someone who loves Norse mythology, I definetly agree with the verdict that there's not enough to work with to fill an entire block with just things from it unless you want to get really repetitive really quickly. It doesn't have nearly as many, or as flashy, monsters as Greek mythology, nor not nearly as many heroes, and the gods are not nearly as defined in their roles.

That is what they do right now. The default is that white and blue get soldiers, red and green gets warriors, and black is somewhere in between. Much the same as how white and blue gets wizards while red and green gets shamans. However, sometimes, depending on the flavour of the world white can end up with warriors, for example, or red can get soldiers.

That said, I really don't know why they decided to make Saskia a Soldier, and I'm almost inclined to think that it's last minute because of a mistake.

Uppland's oldest runestone. On the front there's a picture of a man doing jazz hands and a text that says "mwsïeij" which means absolutely nothing. On the backside whoever made it wrote "sïainaz", which is likely supposed to be "stainaz" which translates into stone.

It is very bizarre to see a Sydri deck that isn't combo. Sharuum or Sen Triplets are both better options for you here.

-You have a total of 5 cards that favorably interact with Voltaic Construct and 2 of them require Sydri. There is no reason not to just run a vigilance anthem (Always Watching or Heliod come to mind)

-You have a total of 2 cards that benefit from infinite mana (USZ and Rev) and no real combo victory.

-Scourglass is better than Disk in your deck and there's no reason you can't run both.

-Tezzeret the Seeker should be in your deck as well.

-I don't think that Chief Engineer is all that good in your deck. Grand Architect would probably be better. Similarly, I think that Etherium Sculptor is too vulnerable to be reliable.

-You aren't going wide so Tempered Steel is worse than a Sword of X and Y in many situations.

-Your removal is a joke. At the very least look into Dismember, Anguished Unmaking, and Utter End. You have no real ways of efficiently dealing with other artifacts either.

-For dumb infinite combos you can run Gravestorm (uncounterable) or Disciple of the Vault with Sharuum + Metamorph. Disciple is easier to disrupt but more valuable on its own.

At that point why not just play Myr Battlesphere? The Thopter trigger is on upkeep meaning your opponents have a whole turn cycle to remove it. Breya doesn't need thopters specifically so any token will do just fine.

It's more to do with what they can expect most people to recognize. Thor is famous, Loki is famous, Freya is probably fine. Some kind of Jormungandr expy would be as obscure as WotC is willing to go. Remember that customers resonating with the flavor is more important than respecting or fully exploring the source material.

No, it wasn't. There's a very vocal minority of players who absolutely loved Kamigawa for its flavor, but the majority of players didn't get it and resented the block for it. The most common complain being that it wasn't the Japan-flavored block that they had been promised because they expected samurai and ninja, not turtle-shelled goblins and weird spirits.
