Prophet beat the Ceph

The Ceph are waaay more powerful than any faction in 40K, they would Rip and Tear through the galaxy.

Spacemarines hardly do more than extend the slow death of the Imperium against far weaker foes.

I don't know, but depending on difficulty, you had to be really stealthy and cautious even about normal humans with today's weaponry in Crysis. Spacemarine should rip through human manned defences head on.

Prophet can still die from a normal 21St century gun. Space Marines shoot with automatic rapid firing armor piercing grenade launchers. Considering their reflexes, speed and strenght are similar, a Space Marine's bolter and power armor beats Prophet's nanosuit and pop guns. And you can be invisible all you want but you'll still be detected by a marine.

All in all Prophet's stat is
WS 3 BS 4 T3 S4 I4 W1 (same as a marine since wounds are arbitrary anyway) A not a lot Sv 4+ LD???
With Stealth, Shrouded and Precision Shots as rules and guardsman level weaponry at most.

Can this take on an ordinary marine? Probably. But the other way is much more probable.

The games don't really reflect Prophet that well at all. Per canon Prophet can't really even die, because he's not even alive. To summarize the events of Crysis 2's novelization

>Prophet is fighting the good fight against Cell and Ceph in New York while searching for a cure.
>Despite his best efforts, Prophet has gotten infected with the virus the Ceph unleashed to erase humanity, and is basically melting. Seeming to not want to be consumed by the Nanosuit, Prophet commits suicide after grabbing Alcatraz and putting the suit on him.
>Alcatraz is some random ass marine who is actually clinically dead at the start of the game/book. He has been shot to pieces and is only alive because the nanosuit has assimilated him and is replacing his organs bit by bit with the nanosuit's own functions.

Basically the human is actually the little voice in the nanosuit's head telling it why it shouldn't do bad things, not the other way 'round.

Except Prophet can't. The ability to die in Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 is actually a game mechanic, because there's nothing alive in the nanosuit. It's all dead meat. Prophet by all intents and purposes is a zombie, a cybernetic one. You kill it you would need to completely destroy all computational functions by destroying the suit itself. The suit itself is durable as fuck because the entire thing is made out of carbon nanotubes, along with funky ceph nanotechnology.

Basically to kill it, the Space Marine would need to mag dump a bolter multiple times.

Then add Feel No Pain 4+ and It Will Not Die(if his wounds are more than 1). He may be unable to die, but a bolter shell, plasma/melta shot can still destroy the suit. Prophet's just a more agile, faster but less resilient Necron warrior. Or a weaker Vindicare Assassin.

He fell from orbit with nothing slowing his fall, and shrugs off autocannon fire while in armor mode. The earlier suit, the N1, got shot by an RPG and the wearer survived, but was knocked unconscious.

More or less normal humans with eldar guns killed a primarch.

Granted Vulkan was a perpetual too, but he blew his brains out a few good times, which would have killed any other Primarch/Marine.
