But yeah, the other instances, the Germans found the remains of Polish horses and lancers and spread the rumour that the Poles were charging tanks with lances. In actuality, the lances were an out-dated piece of kit and never intended to be used. The cavalry would ride to the battle, dismount and fight as infantry.

They're staunch nationalists, even if nationalism isn't a thing in the setting.
