Hey /tg/, we've had a few of these before and a number of them have gone pretty well. Exactly what it says on the tin - magical items, flavor treasure, and loot. Let's post pictures and make up some ideas for some of these, shall we?
I'll start with a small dump - no particular type or theme, just interesting looking things, or shinies a bit more fun to describe than '10gp'.

A favorite of mine.
not actually an item but my DM had us chasing a mystical mcguffin capable of stopping the BBEG called the mermaids foot, turns out, it was a fake rumor started by the BBEG to get us off his back for a few week.
Really it was our fault, we shoulda seen it coming, mermaids dont have feet after all...

The most lustrous spike trap one has ever seen.
>>49869069
Oh jesus. Well, I mean - for all you knew, maybe it was a foot that just happened to previously be owned or made by merpeople, or maybe there were some that could take on a human form and it came from there? I mean, it's not _crazy_ to think there'd be an item floating around (no pun intended) named that, without even accounting for misnomers.
Here, have a creepy one.
i love the thread theme but have little to contribute, so have a cool magic sword in the meantime.

How the fuck does one make these?
I can tell that they're wooden rings with crystals set on them, but how do they have all those cool patterns and shit in them?
Fuck I want one

Acrylic
>>49879864
It's either acrylic and petrified wood, or a chance occurrence of stone/petrified wood and gemstone.
I'd assume the former, honestly.

I desire that rock.
Here's an interesting item referred by most people as ear-huggers. It's has a mind of it's own and got loose from a wizard's workshop. Once put on the wearer's face it doesn't come off until it's in noticeable danger or has sucked enough energy from its victim to make a copy of itself. Although it usually to eat its victim's magical power, stealing the energy stored up for a spell or something else, it will take a person's life force if they are out of magical energy. It can teleport a few feet about every minute, but has difficulty teleporting to a person's face if their target isn't still for long enough -- most opt to stay disguised as regular eyewear. The ear-huggers can shapeshift, only they are stuck as a type of eyewear and it takes a considerable amount enegy.
Although most ear-huggers hide as regular eye wear, some wizards or regular people have formed symbiotic relationships, keeping in mind that the ear-hugger is moderately intelligent; the person provides the energy for the ear-hugger to feed off of while the hugger changes into any form of eye related wear, ranging from telescopes, saxtons, eyepatches without straps to glasses whose prescription will never be out of tune with their host. Of course training a wild ear-hugger to this point takes a long time and lots of energy.>>49868556 I remember those other threads and they usually started with some description of the items, their effects etc. Most of the posts here don't have any descriptions of their items, looks like it's just an image dump - kind of sad.

I'm late to reply, and it's off-topic, but if you're interesting in making these kinds of rings (or how they're made), here's a guide.
