So I made some city maps for the game that I'm running at the moment, figure I'll drop them here and someone else can possibly use/steal them for something or other down the line.

In the meantime if anyone has any ideas for random flavor shit that can happen along the roads let me know. I'm trying to put together a rough random encounter table of things that are more 5 minutes max of flavor, like having to walk through a swarm of mosquitos or a ronin training their kid, let me know.

I basically just use GIMP, though I use Tiled for smaller scale projects. The actual pieces on it are all off of roll20's marketplace. >>49862205 took maybe 30 minutes, >>49862230 was a few hours one night when I was bored.

I have sorta a weakness for maps. Pic related.

It's not even all of them, I have terrible sorting habits that leave some just laying in weird spots around odd folders.

It's easy - I buy like half the shit that shows up on drivethrurpg, roll20's market place, and save a lot of what goes through the map thread.

Most of the stuff isn't things I've "made," (It's all other people's art I'm arranging afterall) and some of what I have is pretty crap, actually. Only a few pieces I'm really proud of. Like the time I tried to piece together every part (at the time) of the wardenhale set by Heroic Maps into a single giant map in roll20. Never really found a use for it and deleted that game eventually.

Overall since most of it is crap and only a few of them are actually "built" by me I don't really feel the need to post most of it unless it shows up relevant in a thread somewhere.

The Unicorn are one of the clans that are relatively overt about trade, and they have access to lots of nifty foreign goods. Use that access to get leverage over people who like money or foreign trinkets.

The Ide in particular are the people who can function like normal Rokugani but are also comfortable among the really weird Unicorn. Dude needs to know how to eat with a Moto lord without offending anyone? Ide-san can help, for a price.

Weaponize those weird customs. Ide wants to get rid of an enemy courtier? Invite him to a nice, meaty feast where he has to eat that awful, unclean flesh or cause offense. He doesn't eat, Ide gets his duel. He does eat, he feels disturbed, dirty, and uncomfortable for a while.
