Have any of you ever looked at Polaris? Thinking about running the game and I want some of /tg/'s hot opinions on it.
Looks fun.

Is it . . . SeaQuest DSV?
>>49854407
Wow that looks like it'd be a really cool game...
>d20 roll under
...for me to run with a different system.

What's the matter with d20?
>>49854718
Flat statistical distribution.

d20 roll under is literally d% in 5% increments.

Yeah. I already rolled my eyes.
Wait a sec, Polaris was this really cool GMless collective narrative game based on negotiation. Wtf is this stargate bullshit?

First I've seen of it. Setting looks pretty cool. I love deep sea aesthetics mixed with futuretech stuff. Less diving bells and grimy kelp forests, more powered aquasuits and deep blue open ocean.
But I might be in this guy's >>49854533 boat.

Source on your version?

Both games simply have the same name, though I believe the one you're referring to came out first.

It's a narrative game where the players take turns sharing the responsibilities of being the GM throughout the session by using phrases such as "... but only if x" to create a tragic tale of knights dying in pointless crusades far from their homelands. Very unique game.
