Anyone have spooky servents?
Normal people have all kinds of superstitions and 'tricks' to keep darkness at bay.
>When you wake in the middle of the night to relieve yourself or check on the children, do not speak a sound so the dark forces playing in the night assume you are still asleep
>Always bury a Sorcerer, even a mere accused or friendly one, face down. This makes it harder for the black thing inside of them to crawl out after they die
>Never take your eyes off your children near the woods, else if something lures them in
>Do not approach men who stand silently on the edge of battlefields or near a funeral pyre. They love only the smell of burning corpses and may well add you to it.
>Craft an amulet bound up in chicken's feet and dipped once in goat's milk and left to dry outside under the moon. Bandits on the road will assume you very poor, and will ignore you.
>Merchants always lie to you and are bastards, but never offend one. They can make your gold talk and tell all your secrets.
>If you see a black rat in your home, always thank him for his visit. It could be a God in disguise.
>If all else fails, a circle of salt around the feet or a laughing child keeps turns all evil.
All of these are true, and all of them work.
This artist is great.

Part of the kingdom is attempting to spread its influence and keep highways and towns safe, but it has limited reach. Outside of that, people tend to stay put and band together. Higher-level encounters that a party would deal with aren't popping up on the road constantly, but it's not unheard of for isolated families or small settlements to get unlucky and stomped by an errant monster. Or, in an upcoming encounter, a strategically important bridge is chosen as a new home for an overwhelmingly strong troll.
Define normal people

I'm surprised the theme of space terror isn't explored more.
Say what you will about the games but the monsters are top notch. I love the blend of fear and sex.
Source for this and one before.

Well it kinda is. It's more specifically "modern-looking astronauts dealing with/being spookies"

I have the biggest boner

Really? Hmm, I must have been not looking hard enough. Though, underwater horror still needs more love.
