Now granted. This is one of the older times. Carriages and the works. So a gun that shoots fire and sun abilities are going to be something of a cheat mode here, even if vampires will constantly hunt me down because of this sun power I possess. ...but I can be fab. R-really...

About the same as baseline humans. From my point of view there's no meaningful difference except they usually have no soul and communication tends to be easier since they have no glands to let things like panic happen.

IIRC, the jump doesn't start until you get separated from the game logic and get dumped into the 'new world'. And even then, most of the benefits the level 100 perk offers comes from equipment and the like, not from actually being level 100.

It looks pretty good! Mostly I think it could benefit from some clarification in some parts.

>A Dragon with Two Heads

"Gentle" seems to have been misspelled as "Gentil"

>Miracle of Effort/Spectre

Not familiar with theseries but personally the latter seems more worthwhile to me than the former, maybe swap prices?

>Indara

Just curious-what's the rationale behind the Iron Strings being an item but billed as a perk? Seen Dirge do that a few times too.

>Satori
>The Power of Faith

In settings where enlightenment is quantifiable, how much enlightenment is it worth? For example, how high would it raise your Essence rating in Exalted, or in Journey of the West how many stages would it net you?

>Energy Emissions

Would spiritual energy enhance the Shaman powers?

>Rare Kind

What does the Antibody of Death do?

>Mark of a Crimson King

Exhausting misspelled as "excausting"

>Shards of a Star

To clarify, how much can you customise your Kenyo form and what powers do they gain?

>Tender Hands

...

...am I reading this correctly, that misusing this sword will get you HUGGED without consent?

>A Dagger

What is the intrinsic value, or is it the savestate function?

>Shaman scrolls

What supernatural powers are valid for research using this?

Then, pic related.

>>
>>49804618
>And even then, most of the benefits the level 100 perk offers comes from equipment and the like, not from actually being level 100.
That is hilariously inaccurate.

Level 100 characters have a solid DR that lets them just walk through mooks unharmed, regardless of whether said mooks are swinging swords or slinging spells. Level 100 gives you tons more mana and health than regular shmoes. Level 100 also, when coupled with your class of choice, gives you access to any number of choice skills that help you fill one of the traditional MMO roles.

Yeah, the gear for 100s is nice, no doubt there, but to say that the bulk of the benefits come from that is pants on head retarded.

>>49804450
Enhanced Mastery from Worm is good for quick learning. Senran Kagura and Naruto both have perks that make you love training. Elona and Obsidian Tower both have perks that remove the hard cap on skills / levels.

So do that and then be willing to grind.

Oh, OOTS also has a nice perk that lets you find level appropriate fights. Check that out too.

How much of a trap is it to choose either Gem or Half-Gem in Steven Universe?
>>
>>49804796
No.
>>
>>49804736
I was thinking more for training other people rather than meself
>>
>>49804593
Yes, you should be finding a way to keep souls trapped in the mortal world or diverting them to another afterlife instead. Or just conquering hell to make it a better place.
>>
>>49804796
Well other than the whole "magic gem weakspot" thing I don't see how it's a trap at all.
>>
>>49804808
That's a little harder. The closest thing I can think of would be the Washu perk from Tenchi that boosts your ability to teach, your students to learn from you, and keeps both you and your students going without sleep.

Now it's not intended for out and out grinding, so you could probably work someone to death that way if you weren't careful. But that's just my reading of it. Check it out for yourself if you want to be certain.
>>
>>49804796
I don't think it's that much of a trap.

Gem might be a trap if you're the type who's concerned that having a huge amount of memories dumped into your head would mess you up, but Half-Gem doesn't have this problem. Without taking out of jump perks into consideration, each of them have much better chance than drop-in of surviving being on the front lines of the plot.

Alice in HR only has 2 more years before retirement. At her age there's no way she'll be able to find as good a job as the one she has at MBI. Now she won't be able to retire.

Who's the monster?

>What is the best way to create an afterlife? Don't say that thing from Actraiser, unless you've got a suggestion for upgrading it, because the number of souls it can hold is nowhere near enough for global levels.

Step one make a dimension
step two . Lord of light and Rick and Morty Technology to move the souls into the dimension.
>>
>>49804981
...The Actraiser palaces have a capacity of a trillion souls each. Unless you're in a galactic scale sci fi setting, you're fine.

But Vampire Diaries has a spell that does exactly that, if you're willing to use that jump.
>>
>>49804992
Don't forget about Bob, the guy who works the security turn-stile on the first floor. He's semi-retired, but he can't afford to send his granddaughter through college on his retirement alone. His MBI salary is paying for her medical school.
>>
>>49805032
>>49804992
And, of course, it's canon that MIB has become an incredibly large and influential company, responsible for employing huge numbers of people and providing technological innovations in nearly every field.

Destroying them would pretty much be the same as destroying Japan's, and much of the world's economy.
>>
>>49805003
Wait, a trillion? I thought it was 999^3.

>>
>>49805049
Not to mention all the charities that MBI is funding. Obviously they're only in it for the tax breaks, but that doesn't matter to the orphans that need prosthetics and organ transplants.
>>
>>49804992
>>49805032
>>49805049
>>49805067
>>49805057
Alright, change of plans.

CEO himself dies.
>>
>>49805083
Now you're thinking with your brain!
>>
>>49804990
I'm trying to find a site that actually has a synopsis but I can't, and it's been a while since I read the ending or the full series in sequence, but basically the "Big Bad" is enacting the plan because that's apparently the only way to break the cycle and have Sekirei be accepted into society, except the ending itself only vaguely touches upon that - but it went from a sort of "aliens are for waifu" feeling to "we need drastic changes in order for humans to accept that aliens can be a part of society as well" feeling.

Basically it waited until the last moments before it tried to become really serious.
>>
>>49805050
Google says that, in the real world, 151,600 people die every day. Multiply that by 365*10, to represent the average jump length, gives you 553,340,000. 999^4/553340000= just under 1,800.

So yes, that is probably enough storage capacity to last you a while.
>>
>>49805083
Much better. He's a complete psychopathic madman. Without him the company can only grow for the better.
>>
>>49805089
Way to sound patronizing, ass.
>>
>>49805114
The stocks will tank immediately after his death, but it's not necessarily death for the company.
>>
>>49805110
But the souls don't stay with you between jumps, do they? You only need enough for the current world.
>>
>>49805127
Considering how unbelievably far ahead they are compared to everyone else given they have access to the alien ship and all it's tech? I really doubt it'll do much harm in the long run. They're too advanced compared to competitors for Minaka's death to destroy the company.
>>
>>49805083
Despite the stupidity of his plan everything ends up fine for everyone in the end, even the bad matches end up working out mostly well. The defeated sekirei are separated from their masters and the abused ones either stay separated after it's all over or get relationship counseling.
>>
>>49805140
Which is why the national army has undermined them already, and was waiting for the moment to mobilize, which does happen. The reason for this being that the national army sees the Sekirei as invaders, and MBI is essentially holding them at bay.
>>
>>49805146
So what you're saying is that a competent, sane and moral person could accomplish all that without all the abuse happening in the first place? Good idea anon, let's put someone sane, competent and moral at the helm instead of Minaka.
>>
>>49805156
And the Sekirei, as they did in the past, can easily drive them off. Why would Minaka dying stop this? MBI supports them all, why wouldn't they offer protection back? Especially now that they aren't being forced into a death game to get that support.
>>
>>49805118
You don't think "I'm going to destroy an entire company, which is responsible for pretty much immeasurable good in the world, because it would be a cool way to punish the one guy actually responsible for what pissed me off here" deserves a little bit of patronizing?
>>
>>49805178

I do, though I may be a little biased...

Speaking of, I'm in a bit of a hang-up related to the "actually becoming a Ghost" bit. I've decided to make it:
1) a general perk (for variety)

...and

2) a capstone-booster (because that's literally what becoming a ghost is in this setting). Pic-related.

Becoming a ghost has by itself all sorts of nifty benefits such as LoS teleportation, intangibility, invisibility, among other things. I'd like to include as few arbitrary restrictions as possible, and to that end I'd like to make it a limited 1-up perk as well (because tell me that's not what a ghost is). The thing is, I don't want to make it a "must-buy" in comparison to everything else. It's currently sitting at 600 CP for a capstone-boost and all the listed benefits (except possibly the 1-up).

Should I:

A) Add the 1-up and increase the cost to 800+ CP.

B) Add the 1-up and retain the current cost.

C) Not add the 1-up and adjust the cost.

D) Not add the 1-up and retain the cost.

Ideas are welcome.

And before anyone starts, it's not the same thing as 999^4 pods because the only way to get souls out is to reincarnate them through the Temple of the Holy Spirit item, and that strips the soul of its memories and turns them into a regular human. So there's no effective benefit to shoving powerful characters into heaven short of rewarding them with an eternity in paradise.
>>
>>49805205
Don't add the 1 up. That's just silly. Just have it be an alt form you can switch between instead of needing you to die each jump to access it. It's fine at 600 if it offers so many powers and also boosts other stuff. Most capstone boosters are only 500 and don't offer much beyond the booster, usually a fairly minor power.

>>
>>49805169
They can't, or rather, they won't. The only reason they succeeded in the past was because the humans didn't see them as an immediate threat. As the series goes on this changes mostly for the worst until the army is mobilized. Even that was mostly baiting to try and draw out retaliation from the Sekirei so the government would have a legitimate reason to nuke them to high hell.

The government agrees that Minaka should die, since this benefits their plans for exploitation or eradication of the aliens. MBI itself is just Minaka, since everybody else is a paid employee. They pretty much give up the moment the government tells them to.
>>
>>49805259

Gems deal with a lot of shit, and take a lot of damage. Garnet gets hit by falling cars, and Jasper tanks a spaceship exploding and crashing on top of her to basically no effect.
So regardless of what people say, they're not super weak or anything. Their durability seems to vary based on their initial creation conditions (Jasper, a "Perfect Quartz"), and how much effort they put into forming their body (Amethyst gets poofed really easily when she's fucking around in that one episode). Given the variance, your durability perks would also definitely work with your body, at least.

So the big issue is just the gemstone, which, in the jump, almost nobody ever targets the gemstone (and when they do, it's considered to be this huge, unforgivable deal), and the series isn't so much about constant battle as it is crying and songs, so it's not a huge deal anyway.
I also think you could make about as much a case for the gem being effected by durability perks as you could a heart or brain, since that's effectively what they are.
Plus it's an alt-form, which means you can just change out of it.
I mean... honestly, I never hear about people spending a lot of time in an altform anyway. Once you're done with SU, you will probably never use that altform again. And if you didn't go gem, then you won't even get an altform?

I dunno. I think people who scream "trap" are just paranoid and not aware of their options.
But I have an exploding magitek heart, so what do I know.
>>
>>49805270
>Nuke them
Rather hard given most live in high populated cities. I don't know about you, but I'd say that no military is going to drop nukes on tens of millions of their own citizens to kill a few dozen beings.

The Sekirei seemed to handle pretty significant military threat before, a fleet of battleships hardly seems like an underestimation.

You're also forgetting what effects the Jumper can have to change things. This isn't an argument about him just dying in universe, but about what Red is doing in it. Similarly, how defenceless do you really think the Sekirei are? The hacker one alone could cause untold chaos, disruptions and effectively neuter so much of any military's force. Or the strongest like Miya and Karasuba who are effectively so strong that nothing short of nukes would really be enough to put them down and as said before, no sane nation is going to nuke millions of it's own citizens.

Did you read the last set of chapters at all? They're nowhere near any populated city. The military also seems to do pretty well against them by the way, especially with how easy to kill the Ashikabi are. If we're going to mention jumper influence, we might as well say to use time travel magic and go back to rewrite history so the initial Sekirei Plan didn't occur.

D&D deities, at least in 3rd edition, automatically get a divine realm that they can hang out in and their worshippers can go to when the latter die.

Age Of Ice has Bradeline's Well, a bleak grey realm where souls can hide from the gods. Sounds like a fixer-upper to me.

>>
>>49805400
Oh, I thought you meant in the ending, they were all separated from their masters. I know that Sekirei combat results in the losers going into some hibernation mode and getting carted away (presumably to get stored somewhere.)
>>
>>49805389
And I'm saying if they stay within the cities, that neutralises so much of what the military can do. I don't see how the military doing well against them in the manga changes the level of destruction the Sekirei could visit on them if they used their powers in a more intelligent way.

No, we might as well not, because we are talking about one specific jumper in this case. Red. And even if it was just someone on their first jump, they would still be able to point out how few Sekirei use their powers to their full advantage. Many of the Sekirei could easily sneak in and kill any leaders of the forces after them, repeatedly even, whilst their Ashikabi wait in some bunker protected by other Sekirei.

Look, it's really not that hard once you have someone who has outside knowledge of the series and can point out the dumb shit and get people working together. With Minaka dead, the plan at best put on hold and the military chomping at the bit to experiment on them, why would they not work together against the threat?

Only if you take the interpretation that Divine Ranks require worship. Which as anon above mentions, is only one of several possible views. I can go dig up the handbook for that which has the rest if you'd like.
>>
>>49805548
Not him, but I'm honestly not sure. Mainly because Raistlin sometimes came across to me as Archaon before I knew who Archaon was at time i.e. this disproportionately plot device upgrade-prone guy whose edginess pays off big time right before he fucks up.

Well, inevitably will fuck up in Archaon's case.
>>
>>49805557
Ah, makes more sense then if it's setting specific. I was thinking back to the Deities and Demigods book. Well, that and a bit of logic for how some of the DnD basic gods manage to retain their power levels. Sure, Pelor might be widely worshipped but how are some of the more esoteric and/or evil gods getting just as much worship as to equal him?
>>
>>49805547
The posts up that entire chain are of some anon insisting that Sekirei will be nuked while other anons are trying to talk about Red. How is that even relevant? It's just one guy rambling on about crazy shit that no one cares about.
>>
>>49805591
Anon, I'm not even involved and I can tell you're full of shit on a quick skim.
>>
>>49805577
Actually, Raistlin won his war against the gods. The only problem was the war destroyed everything but him and he couldn't create anything. So he was left with this Ouroboros existence. Once he finds that out he throws his fight with Takhisis and dies in the process. Well, sorta dies. He is tortured like a sonofabitch in the Abyss, but that's beside the point.
>>
>>49805591
There can be two simultaneous conversations about related topics anon.
>>
>>49805555
Well
>>
>>49805548
No, Raistlin took advantage of a lot of power-ups just to beat Tiamat. He was definitely Epic when he fought her, and when he then fought the rest of the pantheon he'd taken her power.
>>
>>49805620
No there can't, that's impossible.

>>
>>49805651
How do I get it to come back. It isn't coming back.

Evil races.

Which reminds me. You know that whole "Orc baby" dilemma people used to talk about? Wizards decided to address that. By making it so that each orc has their god whisper into their ears 24/7 to rape and kill, even as babies. So you can slaughter babies to your heart's content, Wizard's approved.
>>
>>49805647
Just looking at the stats there's no way Raistlin could have taken Takhisis and all her minions in a fight. It was pure story. Like other events in the DL world it only works if you get that the TT game and the novels are kinda separate products.
>>
>>49805615
Yeah, that's why I compared him to Archaon. Half as long, twice as bright or something like that.

Which, going back to my main point, I just don't know if it's supposed to be a sign of

a) Dragonlance wizards being more powerful than Dragonlance gods, or

b) Raistlin just being an overpowered shitlord Taylor Hebertmancer
>>
>>49805677
See: >>49805673

Dragonlance wizards are bog standard D&D wizards, and DL gods are some of the most powerful in D&D. They're legit creation gods. If you try to rollplay that fight it doesn't work.
>>
>>49805668
>Wizards decided to address that

...but. But that's the opposite of addressing that. Now instead of being INNATELY evil, orcs are just byproducts of their own toxic environment.

If anything this sounds like a motivation to free orcs from their oppresive gods, and redeem them to the point where you can have orc paladins.
>>
>>49805668
Eh, the evil races thing always felt like a stretch to me. A lot of them aren't exactly intelligent or populous nor very willing to worship another, at least not on the level of the big races that worship the good gods. Sure, Orcs and Gruumsh kinda make sense but then you have the opposite issue. How are the elves, the ones renowned for long lives and not many kiddies, populous enough to give Corellon enough worship to equal or even outpower Gruumsh?

Orc Baby? Is this some dumb morality thing Wizards got itself into again? The alignment system/Paladin thing alone is bad enough but what's this new stuff?
>>
>>49805692
Sure, which just raises the telling question of where TT mechanics or story elements take precedence in jumps. I've been under the impression the traditional answer here is to fanwank something, but I'm just saying from the perspective of someone visiting Dragonlance it appears that sometimes wizards don't make sense more than usual.
>>
>>49805698
The point is that you can't stop orcs from being evil without killing the god. So killing that baby is the right thing to do, because it's now going to grow up evil regardless.

I did forget to mention that it also goes into detail how orcs are programmed, physically, to get off on brutality and not helping each other etc like most races. So their brains are against good too.
>>
>>49805724
And yet, orc paladins can exist.
>>
>>49805719
Shouldn't fluff usually take precedence? Gameplay mechanics are just limitations on something because you need some way to translate it into a playable form.
>>
>>49805719
I'm pretty sure the DL jump lets you make that choice of whether its a novel or a TT jump. I mean, you can buy levels buy you don't have to buy levels so to me that says it can go either way. I imagine you just have to choose which it is.
>>
>>49805734
DO NOT DOUBT THE MIGHTY WIZARD'S WIDSOM. ORCS ARE EVIL. EEEEEEEVIL.

>>

Yes, but it requires an orc who doesn't listen to the constant droning noise in his head and who doesn't mind being unhappy and unfulfilled his entire life because he can only feel good murdering and raping.
>>
>>49805754
Except that the orc paladin doesn't have to have that constant droning noise in their head, because they have their own higher power telling the evil god to sod right off.
>>
>>49805780
It'd be more like having a shoulder devil and shoulder angel at each other's throat 24/7
>>
>>49805780
Don't later editions allow for evil paladins? Couldn't it be an evil orc paladin?
>>
>>49805793
And they would still need to ignore it long enough to become a paladin in the first place.
>>
>>49805668
Just for clarification, did in-setting Wizards use magic to do that to justify killing orcs, or did you mean the company Wizard of the Coast wrote that lore?
>>
>>49805793
Now I have this mental image of an orc paladin getting on with his life as a farmer while two shoulder gods argue in the background.

Look, the problem with you is that you're trying to wax philosophical about nature vs. nurture.

/IN A SETTING WHICH CANONICALLY HAS EVIL GODS DOING BAD SHIT/

There is a malevolent, intelligence force that induces this behavior. If you're sociopathic enough to think doing anything about it is as bad as killing, then this conversation is stupid and I feel stupid for bothering to respond to you.

Okay, this is the part where I say that doing anything about the "naturally designed for it" and "alter their brains" part is more like giving a kid with hormone imbalances meds, and far, far better than murdering them all. Especially given said natural proclivities are being worsened, and there's been no opportunity to see an orc fight against his nature.

And the part where you disagree, and claim that no, it's apparently like killing them for some stupid reason.

Jump 08: Final Fantasy VI - Hey, I know this one, too.
Location: Veldt
Age: 17
Background: Half-Esper [700] - Sweet.
Perks:
True Humanity - I'm as human as I was when I left. No doubt about that.
>Indeed. You're still as stupid as when you left.
Hey, words hurt.
Uncrowned - Try it. I dare you. [600]

Trance - I. Feel. The. POWER! [300]

Gear:
Equipment - Trash.
Airship - I'll take it. [0]

So, first order of business? Take my shiny new airship (which I have dubbed ‘Fluffy’) and speed on over to Figaro. Then, the moment we spot a particular clown out in the desert and approaching the castle, we drop it on top of him. Repeatedly. Several times. I explode what's left with several hextech grenades, hack the giblets into even smaller giblets with my high-frequency katana, then pick up what's left of his head and fire it using the railgun into the ocean.

Then I take what's left of his destroyed body, put into five individual plastic containers, and scatter them to the four corners of the planet.

>Uh, boss? Was this really necessary? I mean, he was already dead after the first few-

I can never be too sure, Brion. Can never be too sure.

>>49806865
Yes, there's elixirs to cure illness and even supernatural states (your friend got turned into a vampire? turn them back!)
>>
>>49806929

Esuna?
>>
>>49806896

>>49806974
Esuna was the one I was thinking of. Actually that'd mean Ribbon Bearer would help with that too.
>>
>>49806974
Esuna works in some settings. Cleanse was the specific spell they introduced for it. Think there was also Refresh for it.
>>
>>49806993
I believe Esuna was originally introduced as the combined, more expensive spell that did both Cleanse and Refresh to cover when you got slammed with multiple status effects.
>>
>>49807055
Esuna came before Cleanse and Refresh, Cleanse is XII and Refresh is XI. The original Esuna had to be leveled in order to cure status effects, and didn't cover disease - closest thing it cured was Toad/Poison.

There wasn't really a reason for either of the latter except they wanted to make a separate spell and condition. Disease was somewhat interesting in XII.
>>
>>49807098
So whether Esuna can cure Disease or not is going to depend on which FF you picked it up in?

>>49807138
I have no clue, generally people decide that for themselves and just stick with it. It's a spell with many different confirmed effects.

How large of a force of normal human soldiers could a chapter of space marines effectively deal with? Assuming that the soldiers are roughly equivalent of the imperial guard if it was less liberal with the use of cannon fodder.
>>
>>49807345
Blade...it was a joke on how you're replacing the old Shaman King jump with a new one. I have no intention of becoming the Shaman King myself, I'm just go to be making sure Hao doesn't.
>>
>>49807368
Pretty much endless amounts if we're going by lore and they don't run out of ammo.
Each space marine is worth a hundred thousand normal guys and since they have armor that protects them from almost anything a guardsman would have on them none of them will die.

As much as I like them Imperial guardsmen are made of paper mache and ducktape.
The only reason they succeed at things in setting is because there are trillions of them.
>>
Love Dagger jump when?
>>
>>49807368
An arbitrary amount. There's only going be so many soldiers that can attack a Space Marine at at a time, and those who aren't are going to be trying to hit a tank that can catch bullets.

They'll need heavy artillery to even begin to pose a threat. They might be able to outlast them, but Space Marines also have great endurance.
>>
>>49807422
...Oh. Okay. That works too.

Though i feel I should point out that I am working with SKAnon on this, as he did show back up.

>>49807445

I'm just focusing on making sure none of the people who would abuse the power of the Great Spirit take control.
>>
>>49807345
Might I suggest that becoming the shaman king has that power sealed on exit until post jump instead of ending your chain?
>>
>>49807466
Eh...

Thats more like the Flower of Maize than anything else. Thats when the previous shaman kings show up to kick your ass and kick you out.

>>
>>49807481
Do you mean Post Spark?
>>
>>49807495
Oops. Yes that is what I meant
>>
>>49807368
Depends. What's the composition of this force? If we're just talking about endless waves of infantrymen feeding themselves into the gristmill, then yeah, of course the Astartes are going to kill an arbitrarily high amount. But if we're talking artillery, then the answer is "none". Forget space marines, artillery is, has been, and always will be the King of the Battlefield. Even a genetically-altered superman in power armor can do nothing more than hunker down and hope for it to pass over him when the iron rain falls.
>>
>>49807472
Yeah, but you have normal humans trying to hit a small spot on a bipedal tank that's treating their friends like unruly blades of grass. Oh, and the tank can catch bullets.

Now, tank into account how combatants today don't even always hit center mass on much slower targets, that a laser weapon will go exactly where you point it, and that these soldiers will probably be quaking in their boots? Your chances aren't looking good.

Artillery's your best option, but you're going to need crews bordering on precognitive to hit an enemy who can out-speed bullets. Or an unhealthy predisposition for friendly fire...
>>
>>49807345
The Great Spirit isn't omnipotent. That's just something that people who are hyping up how impressive the thing is say. It's very strong, but has finite power, and given that it's just the spirit of a single planet is probably far from the strongest thing in the setting. We know that there are spirits elsewhere in the universe, Grey Saucer is proof of that. And if a planet has such a mighty spirit, the spirit of a star or nebula or quasar is likely terrifyingly powerful. In all likelihood, the Great Spirit is in fact a very minor spirit on the grand scale of things, and it's just the provincial attitude of Earth's shamans that make them think it's so godlike. Not saying that means you should allow people to have it. I just think it's something neat to think about.
>>
>>49807472
It could maybe hurt them, but not enough to actually matter in the long run.
Space marines have hyper redundant biology and can continue to fight with serious wounds like they don't even have them. The lasgun would give them a pretty bad sunburn, but they'd get over it. Perhaps after hours of getting shot a space marine would be in trouble, but standard lasguns just aren't good enough to deal with them.

Of course this is assuming that nobody knows how to tune up the lasguns into actually dangerous weapons, but since that knowledge is pretty much universally lost in canon it probably isn't relevant to the fight.
I guess if a guardsman got close he could blow up his gun if he knew how, but that's heretical and he wouldn't get close fighting marines without serious bullshit.
>>
>>49807512
Mostly infantry but a sizable portion of them are other types of solider, including armor and artillery. Say about a third of the overall force being from those two categories.
>>
>>49807556
>but you're going to need crews bordering on precognitive to hit an enemy who can out-speed bullets
No, that's stupid. Astartes can attain bullet-like speed over short distances, they can't keep up that speed long enough to dodge artillery bombardment.
>>
>>49807556
>>49807586
>an enemy who can out-speed bullets.
>Astartes can attain bullet-like speed
They can fucking what?
>>
>>49807567
It's also assuming we're talking about one lasgun. Not an arbitrary number of them. Space Marine armour doesn't last forever.
>>
>>49807605
An Astartes is fast enough, on the very short term, to deflect or catch bullets. But they can't move around the battlefield at bullet speed, they're designed for fast-twitch motions rather than sustained movement. They're not speedsters. Faster than an unaugmented human, sure, but not super speed.
>>
>>49807345

>>49807495
This please. I'd rather it be locked till post-spark, than for it to be chain-ending.

>>
>>49807642
>fast-twitch motions
That makes more sense, I thought that was referring to running speed.
>>
>>49807610
Well that's kind of what I meant by after hours of fighting, but yes eventually they'd get worn down.
Unless guardsmen are getting dropped in constantly I don't think the fight would last that long.
There's only so much space for them to stand and after a while everyone would literally be wading in bodies.
>>
>>49807666
I mean sprinting speed.

Also I am apparently Satan today, so that's nice.
>>
>>49807512

>>
>>49807689
>a squad of them is expected to be able to conquer an entire planet

>squad

Are you sure you didn't mean to say company or chapter?
>>
>>49807689
I'm aware. But the question was about a chapter of space marines. Astartes organizational doctrine doesn't include artillery support under the definition of a "chapter". At least, so long as you're following the Codex as our spiritual liege intended us to.

Alright.

Shaman King is 99.99% done. We need exactly one item, and then the while thing is complete.

There are probably a few minutia that need to be changed, such as the location rolls, but beyond that?

It's done.

To be honest, SKAnon and I have an idea for the remaining item, we simply don't really like it. So we are going to spend tomorrow(today, actually) thinking about it, and then either come up with something or use the idea that we're holding in reserve.

So yeah, its pretty much done.
>>
>>49807865
I do like how that's the part you have a problem with and not the dead body base.
Although there are thousands of lasguns just lying around in such a situation. So the marines could just use those once they run out of ammo.
I'm assuming there isn't a bolivian army situation going on though and the marines aren't completely surrounded with an infinite tide of guardsmen.
So there would be luls in the action while more guardsmen are shipped to the front.

The technique of generations seems very strong, with the equivalent of 6000 years of practice just getting dumped into your head like that. sure it's a capstone, but thats still a lot. Not sure if it needs a nerf though.

Forced possesion doesn't say what it does until the jump is over, and might just be something you could already do if you took the origin.
It also does nothing if you didn't take the origin if I understand it correctly. Might need a revamp.

I don't think elemental aspect needs to change after the jump is over. In fact most perks that do somehting different after the jump is over don't need too unless they'd be useless otherwise. It's janky for lack of a better term and just suddenly getting better after 10 years instead of either doing it already or not doing it at all is just plain odd.

I apologise if these seem nitpicky.

According to my math, assuming a drawback cap of 600 cp, you cannot get more than 100,000 furyoku.

The Sprit of fire had 300,000 reiyoku, and shamans are supposed to have more than their spirits.

On the other hand, the companion options have a surprisingly high amount of cp. You get two free companions with 800 cp, and a ghost with 800 cp of its own. And the two companions get a ghost with 400 cp.

As per canon, it would seem that teamwork is your best option to beat Hao.
>>
>>49808076
Yes. What's the point in having THAT if you don't use it?
>>
>>49807995
IIRC Hao's was 1.250,000, basically, You have 50,000/1,250,000=.04

You have less than half a tenth of Hao's power.

You would need to find a way to get killed, then brought back the equivalent to the 1000 or so years he was around, then you would somehow need to learn the equivalent time in experience with shaman magic stuff.
>>
>>49808094
>Teamwork

In a straight fight, the patch origin seems to be best equipped to hold their own.

Between technique of generations, and the fact that they get discounts on the above average ghost ally(aka the god class spirit option), they can probably put out a world of hurt onto hao.

What sort of spirit charms does Ten Thousand Winter Nights have?

How crazy is the idea of defending Gem for ~300 years?

Does the Ebony Forest need to be fed daily, or can you deliver mortals in bulk? Further, where or how does one deliver said mortals?

Do Resources and Trivials of Thaumaturgy work outside of the gauntlet?

Can you keep the Broken Winged Crane inside the Cache Egg? Does copying it with the Infinite Book keep the horrible mind-rape?
>>
>>49806157
Following that, what jumps would you recommend people take early-chain?
>>
>>49807870
Giving a 3x boost to everything you do just for following customs seems extremely strong for the technique of generations, especially in comparison to the very weak Neo Shamanism allowing you to swap out very slightly different components for shaman magic. Same for Elemental Aspect doubling all your powers for one element. Some examples of what Conceptual Authority actually allows you to do would be good, and in general it would be better if you used real world examples instead of the constant references to other settings.
>>
>>49808184
Harry Potter and Infamous are really good starting jumps.
Same with Pokemon but it was designed for that.

There's also Overlord since you'd fit right in as a player, and Captain N works well as Heavens demonstrated in his most recent chain.

Kamen Rider is good, they offer a lot and you can take care of the non-drawback threats with the in-jump material.

Hollywood and Pro-model are good for charisma perks, and ways to make money in future jumps.

Darksiders has an entire line devoted to crafting.

I don't really care about the immortality aspect. I just want other people to be able to use my powers through shaman stuff. If the point of the background isn't to be the spirit equivalent of a pokemon then I'm very dissapointed.

I don't know where you got funnier from though. The idea of jumpchain is that you keep stuff. I want to keep my stuff. That's not unreasonable.

Symbiote is very easily survivable if you avoid the plot, and will increase your chance of survival immensely.
If you want the Sword of Eternity, you should probably do Tales of Phantasia as soon as possible.
I tend to Jump the Kingsmen Early
NO GAME NO LIFE has the best risk-reward ratio of any Jump in the chain as far as I know.
Most Generic Jumps tend to be pretty easy.
Undertale isn't that Hard.

Jump 10: Ring of Red - Ooooh, this looks interesting~.
Age: 23
Origin: Commander [900] - Commander, Commander...I like the sound of that~.
Location: Japan, August 6th 1945, 8:16AM - Operation Downfall - W-wait, did I hear that right? Operation Downfall? I'm in charge of part of the invasion effort?! Oh, fuck me.
Nationality: USA
Perks:
Tactics 101 - Back to basics, huh?
Cooperation - Trust me on this. [800]
Fresh Recruits - To think, there's still volunteers this late into the war...[600]
Rodriguez's Protege - Jumper, a Tactical Genius. [300]
Swiss Army Engineer [0] - AFWs...interesting.

Items:
Uniform - USA. Might as well be on the side of the homeland, right?

Drawbacks:
Call me ‘Wei’ [400] - My name isn't Nona!
Mien Field [600] - This is gonna suck.

A short history lesson for everyone: Operation Downfall was a horrible idea. The Japanese refusal to surrender during the tail end of WW2, even as they had been pushed back to their home island, along with the economic and miitary fatigue all countries were feeling at this point, meant that an invasion was going to be a hell of a cost sink in both manpower and resources. What's more, the terrain of Japan made it incredibly obvious what objectives would be a priority and where any large armies would move on foot. The defense would be tooth-and-nail, likely down to the last man who raised a gun to defend his homeland. And this close, there would be no shortage of militaries.

But now, as the circumstances in this world have presented, we either make the plan happen or risk the Soviets gaining yet more ground in addition to their foothold in Eastern Europe. An unexpected restructure of command occurs merely weeks before the invasion happens, and a young new officer is brought to command a large portion of this almost suicidal invasion effort.

Guess who.

Related: Fuck me.

Generic jumps, or jumps at "action movie" levels like Kingsmen.
>>
>>49808342
That was supposed to be ‘no shortage of volunteers’.

Just establishing a beachhead alone is a Herculean task. By now, we were no strangers to naval invasions. The moment I'm on the radio, there's a shift in the battle. The forces I'm commanding move like clockwork, even under the hail of fire that waited off of the coast. And right when our first breakthrough happened, I'd witness an entire squad walk foot-first into a mine field. The screams and the gunfire, even far from the action just to coordinate the command effort, were audible from the ship.

I had Brion act as my personal Solid Snake (stop giggling) and make use of a stealth device to take out key elements, letting the battle swing in our favor. The invasion would be over by the fall of evening, and our foothold had been established. From here, it was a long way to Tokyo. I remember stepping onto the beach myself...the bodies...so many bodies...

Could I have done better? Did I do enough? Was it really right, being this far away from the action?

...no, of course not, I'm the command element. It's up to me. It's LITERALLY up to me. I can't let casualties pile so high on my watch.

I need to end this war, and quickly.

To be continued when I wake up.

God of War Peasant line. Lot of cool stuff there.
Plus with the capstone booster you can start synthesizing metals out of basically any kind of energy you can control.
You could literally make a sword out of electricity, if you wanted.
I'm fond of Nuclear Frag Grenades.

You can also make NPs if you go Servant in a Fate/ jump and take EX Item Construction. You could also make other stuff with lower levels of Item Construction, but I'm not sure what they'd be as I'm a pleb who only watched /Stay Night and /Zero on Netflix. Never played the games. This one isn't exactly blacksmithing, because you're really just pumping magic juice into an object for a long ass time, but could boost your stuff.

There's also a jump whose name eludes me right now. Something about picking up chicks in dungeons? IIRC, there's some craftsman stuff there too.

Yes and no. Inferals are good at crafting period, both Malfias and SWLiHN are aligned towards crafting and the making of things. That could help make you an excellent craftsman, especially with some SWLiHN charms that let you use your brain to have a grand-master Workshop wherever you go, and to build things EssenceX faster than normal(3 essence is 3 times faster)

But yes, it will be harder to make Demon-forged weapons unless you go Devil-Tiger and turn your First, Second, or Third circle Souls into a weapon.
But most First Circle Souls are expendable, in many many ways. Most are basically copied off of a template, with very little difference. Only "Citizens" truly differentiate themselves from the norm.

5000 for human origins besides Shaman and Patch, 10000 for Shaman and Patch. You can raise it by buying potential, so if you took the Jumper Must Die drawback and spent all 800cp on potential you'd be at 50000 (100cp perk 5000). That's half-way to endgame Yoh at the beginning of the series. If it wasn't for Hao being a thing, that would be insanely strong for that early on.
>>
>>49808825
Depending on your purchases and background you can have as low as 5,000 amount to a very large amount if you dump all your points into it.
You also get more for every jump you don't take a drop in origin for afterwards as well as each time you proc the 1up perk.
So dumping it all into potential isn't necessarily the best plan.

Mind-Hand Manipulation is a Keystone Charm, a charm that is needed for several other charms.
It leads to Tool-Transcending Constructs which can be re-purchased 4 times.
In Game Terms, the first purchase means you always have a "basic" workshop with you, via Mind-hand, which means -2 dice to all crafting rolls(no tools is -4). First re-purchase is 0, second is +2, third is +4
Then Experimental Acceleration Master builds off of TTC, and it reduces the time to craft something by your Essence Score, so at 10 Essence you craft things 10 times faster.

Also helpful is Principle-Invoking Onslaught, which lets you turn anyone you kill with Mind Hand into Essence -1 Resources. So you can get a max of Resource 9 out of someone, this includes turning them into Magical Materials like Orichalcum.

Don't forget Constructive Conversion of Principles which is basically Wyld-Shaping Technique with a dicepool of Willpower+Essence but living beings created by it are Creatures of Darkness. And if you spend successes equal to a 1CDemon's Essence rating you can create an unbound but loyal member of that race-and dictate its' motivation.

And TECHNICALLY Heuristic Logos Shintai helps, because

1. Principle-Invoking Onslaught becomes an innate power, and therefore costs nothing

2. MHM's strength triples, its' range expands to EssenceX300 and it becomes precise and powerful enough to affect entire military units, which presumably could be used for some impressive stunts.

In SRW Z, things got a little bit crazy with different crossing timelines and invaders from another multiverse who were looking to reset the multiverse clock and start anew. They originally achieved a form of apotheosis by taking all life and incorporating it into themselves, but after they did it they realized that others could do it too, so they decided they needed to stop them from happening by genociding dimensions.

The guy in the video in particular is trying to ascend one more time into another higher dimension, wherever that may be. Unfortunately this means everybody else needs to die. Because he's a higher dimensional entity for whatever that means in Z, he doesn't exact obey the laws of the "lower" reality. His "attack" is part of a consumption process to take in parts of the enemy and prepare for ascension (and multiverse reset).

They can? I was under the impression only, well, the Unconquered Sun can since ultimately Creature of Darkness means "dude the UCS doesn't like very much at the moment*" unless you mean via prayer. Doesn't mean much outside of Exalted really, since the UCS doesn't exist there.

Infernals are Creatures of Darkness, though. I'm pretty sure CoDs can't take other CoDs off the list.

*Except for Five Days Darkness, who has the terminal misfortune of being the only being in existence who is on the List not because of anything he did, but because of his nature as the first shadow cast by the Sun out of the primordial darkness upon Creation.

>>49808915
The thing about Sisterspheres is that she wanted her Chosen to be basically mad social engineers first and foremost; this really shows in all the Urges, all of which refer to big changes to society as a whole and only one of which referes to an actual invention specifically. Hence, a lot of her Charms play with mind control or macroscale control rather than things which are good for directling improving yourself as a craftsman.

Nothing stopping you from requisitioning a bunch of resources and people to work on a bigger scale, though. It's a quantity over quality thing.

As for the Dragon-I think I've said it before, but you can totally play Batman with his Charms.
>>
>>49809010
It's a Solar charm. One of the Essence 6+ ones from Dreams.
>>
>>49809010
I don't remember where I heard it so the canonicity of this statement isn't solid, but pretty much anyone with some kind of divine authority can change the list if they get a hold of it.
The Unconquered Sun is too busy playing 7th dimensional chess to stop them or care for that matter.
I do vaugely remember people calling this a stupid retcon though so once again canonicity is tenuous.

Still an infernal probably couldn't do it on their own, but if you ask the right people you might be able to do it.
This is probably only relevant for Jumpers wanting to play with stuff like Golden Jannissary Style though.

>Golden Jannissary Style though.
You mean the Best Terrestrial Martial Art?
>>
>>49809010
>since the UCS doesn't exist there
Well, it amounts to Holy effects and sunlight, so I think those would still murder any Creature of Darkness post-jump.
>>
>>49809010
Ah, but remember, using Yozi charms in new ways and inventing new Yozi charms is one of the selling points of Infernals. SWLiHN doesn't like it, but her Infernals are also really good at freedom and mad science.
>>
>>49809106
The thing is-in Exalted, it's explicitly stated that the concept of "Holy" ONLY applies there to things defined by the UCS' shitlist. There's no objective morality or even concept of corruption. It's just Conky's raw power which allows something vaguely similar to be applied, and has nothing to do with either sunlight or actual holiness.

That said, in the specific case of the Ebon Dragon his metaphysics are so screwy it's conceivable he WOULD be hurt by such things, simply because it's in his nature to define himself by opposition. Before he invented the UCS, he was totally unable to take action because the Primordial King's omnipresent light kept him from being able to come into existence.
>>
>>49809124
But the things on his shitlist are all things that are effected by holy in other settings too.
>>
>>49809106
Not quite. It's literally an arbitrary descision made by the Unconquered Sun for whats a creature of darkness or not.
For example unshaped raksha are but shaped aren't because the Unconquered Sun didn't give a shit about them. Things can get added and dropped from the list as well for even more strangeness.
Out of jump it wouldn't be backed the US because he's not there. Although Holy might work anyways depending on how that version of holy works.
>>
>>49809135
The list currently includes the imprisoned, mutilated Primordials, some of which were akin to the forces which power holiness in other settings.
>>
>>49809175
They're also akin to demons, the forces that get hurt by holy in other settings.
>>
>>49809185
The demons are only hurt by holy because the US doesn't like them.
If they weren't on the list they wouldn't be weak to holy.
It's not something intristic to exalted demons.
>>
Any jumps other than Overlord with a perk that lets you keep pumping mana into spells to make them more and more powerful?
>>
>>49809206
Terraria has one that needs a focus, but don't over do it or things explode.
I think one of the Dark Suns has a perk that lets you charge up your spells as well.
>>
>>49809185
See >>49809200, prior to the Primordial War Exalted Demons were basically the cells of much larger gestalt entities that don't really come up very often in other settings.
>>
>>49809206
Thanks for the suggestions. Terraria's perk being item specific makes it unfortunately not as useful as I'd hoped it would be.

By 'one of the Dark Suns' do you mean a Dungeons and Dragons jump? I can't find anything like that in Dark Sun, Dragonlance, Ravenloft, Forgotten Realms, or Neverwinter Nights, though I was admittedly skimming over them quite quickly. Do you remember anything more specific about the jump? Did I miss a D&D jump?
>>
>>49809299
I don't know how I ended up responding to my own post instead of >>49809215
>>
>>49809299
Maybe one of the D&D jumps has it in terms of the classes it has?
>>
>>49809299
Fug I meant Dark cloud and after checking it's the second one with the Perk Elemental Surge.
sorry about that.

Also if you use Ensoul from Cardcaptor Sakura as well you can use the Terreria perk for any spell.
Although if you make them sapient you'll want to be very careful not blow them up by accident.
>>
>>49809320
Thanks for finding it. It's another one that's good, but unfortunately it caps at double the effect. Seems like The Abyss of Magic might be one of a kind. It doesn't note a specific limit at least, and the examples seem like you can overcharge spells to a tremendous degree, so if there is a limit it's very high up there.
>>
>>49809366
You could always just Conjoined Conjures, Riding a bike or that other Overlord perk that lets you translate spells to different systems to let you cast your favorite spells in a system of magic that lets you charge up.
Although I can't think of a good system to work with right now.
>>
>>49809366
It's capped because generally with perks like this, you run into situations where some people consider that they stack with one another. It's much easier to let a perk of this variety pass a balance check by placing a cap on it than to leave it uncapped.
>>
>>49798486
Same thing that happens in all Perks. Overall the same result as explained in the Perk, where they differ in scale go with the better result, otherwise just get all the boosts.

>Tender Hands?
Tender Hands is far too set in it's flavor text for most people to understand. Basically its a weapon that can deal non-leathal damage no matter what bullshit sword style you're using.

>Gentle
Fuck Autocorrect! Why! First Gentile now this?

>Iron Strings
As far as I can tell you are actually producing them from your skin. It's weird...

>Quanitifiable Enlightenment.
Essence would count as enlightened, therefore you'd be able to use it, and maybe if you fanwanked a Mortal would instantly be Essence 3, no comment on what it would do to Dragonblooded or the various other coming attractions. Journey to the West, I'm not familiar enough with the setting to tell you.

>Would spiritual energy enhance the Shaman powers?
Up to the hard caps, unless you have Rare Kind in which case you'll be able to grow them slowly alongside your spiritual energy.

>Antibody of Death wut do?
Cures the Death Disease of course.

>Mark of a Crimson King
Thanks.

>Kenyo form.
None that I know of, though you might be able to do something out of Jump it seems pretty much to take a theme that resonates with the person and go from there.

>A Dagger
Plot Armor, an extra life and perhaps more.

>Shaman scrolls
Fire Manipulation, Ice Manipulation, Teleportation, Regeneration, and various other common super powers. All of them are fairly low level though and grow it training.

>Tender Hands... Hugs.
It is a kind sword.
Currently the sword is a place holder until I get the real sword written out to my standards. I just need it to feel as otherworldly as the Shard of Stars because they come from the same place.
>>
Anyone know how to improve the quality of items? Just a way to make them 'better'?

My jumper has some equipment I've grown attached to, but he can't upgrade them and they're falling a bit behind.
>>
>>49808177
>What sort of spirit charms does Ten Thousand Winter Nights have?
Touch of Jupiter (Aggrivated) among other boons to ones Melee skills. Basically it's a minor god of murderers and swordsmen at this point, still only Essence 3.

>How crazy is the idea of defending Gem for ~300 years?
The pain you would endure to make that happen would be legendary, also it's totally bonkers.

>Who comes out of the Well of Urd if Exalted Mortals is your first jump?
You.

>Does the Ebony Forest need to be fed daily, or can you deliver mortals in bulk?
Bulk is fine.

>Further, where or how does one deliver said mortals?
When you look for the Ebony Forest it is there. Part of it's story you see.

>Do Resources and Trivials of Thaumaturgy work outside of the gauntlet?
Yep.

>Can you keep the Broken Winged Crane inside the Cache Egg?
Outside of Creation counts as too far away.

>Does copying it with the Infinite Book keep the horrible mind-rape?
Nope, one of the first things people noted. It's a damn good propaganda piece and also a neat primer on demon stuff though once copied.

Legacy of Use, from Smite.
>Your items become stronger as you use them, your feats with them feeding the items power. Sing a giant to sleep and your lute lulls people to sleep whenever you wish. Slay a dragon by charging through its flaming breath with your shield and your shield shall protect you better from fire from now on. By truly mastering the self you may have this apply to you as well.

Jumps shaping up. Few sentencing errors here and there but that is to be expected in large word documents.

Can I kindly ask that the Shaman Eugenics Fiance Companion have an Import option?

Showing up to dinner with my Fiance will probably upset my current Waifu.
>>
>>49809626
I asked for all the Jumpers who are going steady with one gal but want that sweet Tsundere Training booster.

>>49809622
Neat!
>>
>>49809637
My bad, didn't notice you had asked that.

Well count this as a 2nding of the need for that sweet Tsundere Training booster.

Honestly, I'd be fine with her keeping it after the Jump anyways. I need someone to keep my active.
>>
I'd like to merge my large assortment of wands, staves, staffs, etc. into a magic ring I have. The Armsfusion Crafter only works on similar things, and if I Duct-Tape Fusion them together they'd end up a stick with a hole in it rather than a ring, given my understanding of the perk.

Do we have any other item fusing perks, items, or methods that might work here?
>>
>>49809658
It'd be awesome to get Tsundere Training booster stuck but I'll accept what I get.

>>49809674
King Arthur has Enchantment which give the example "Absorbed other items and grants this one their properties."
>>
>>49809683
That is perfect. Thank you.

I wonder, can you buy that multiple times?

Cheat Mode the Sky Palace from Actraiser?
>>
Were was the perk that let you cast magic without using incantations?
>>
>>49809909
Cheat Mode has a very small size limit, the size of a minecraft block basically.
>>
>>49809946
Harry Potter had one. Not sure if any others did.
>>
>>49809979
Didn't CCDT rule that only affected Harry Potter magic, or did that get revoked? Actually that might have been Wandless magic, now that I think of it.
>>
>>49809958
Can't we just shrink it with a shrink ray?
>>
>>49810007
Not sure. Its the only wordless magic I can think off of the top of my head.

Other then Silent Metamagic from D&D but there are probably better options.
>>
>>49810007
iirc he ruled that it works if the system doesn't technically need incantations. It doesn't work if you are actually speaking a magical language that is itself the basis for the magic, it does work if the incantation is instead some kind of self hypnosis or aid in focusing.
>>
>>49810044
That seems right. Thanks!
>>
>>49809946
Anima has Wordless Casting too.
>>
>>49810106
That looks good, but does it work on other magic systems? I don't know enough about Anima to properly interpret it. Does Flow of Souls mean all magic, even not from this jump?
>>
>>49810182
>>49810106
Just checked the notes and yes, it's called out as fluff and any mention to it means magic and works across magic systems.

This is perfect, thank you myrmidont.
>>
>>49807870
Le sigh. Can we at least keep our passive abilities, like intelligence, perfect memory, and luck? This power lock is full of problems, in that after a point some jumpers need their perks not to go insane, or forget the arbitrary number of memories floting around in their head.
>>
Can you take both Water Magnet and Locked Curse in the Ranma jump?
>>
>>49810429
>Le sigh
I hope he keeps it all sealed just for that you fucking freak.
>>
>>49810506
guess so. there is no mention of they cant betaken both
>>
>>49810506
I don't think the author said this, but I like the interpretation that taking both means you can't change willingly, but "the universe" can still change you into whatever form is less convenient for you at the time.

Just a quick question... how to create a pdf that does look more appealing than just plain white pages with text on them?
>>
>>49810653
You make them a plain yellow pages with text on them.
>>
>>49810653
most software will allow you to add and position images on the pages besides the text, whether you're using Word or LibreOffice or GoogleDocs or Publisher or Sigil, then you
export/save to pdf
