I just discovered that my country only RPG magazine is coming back after ten years. To celebrate, let's roll a random character in one of the scenarios for the system they created.
The scenario should loosely translate to Star Light Brigade, and is a mecha anime inspired scenario based on the space 1700s.
To start, roll 1d6 for Gender.
Translated PDF coming soon.
Rolled 5 (1d6)
>>49767684
In this scenario there are three races:
Humans, Evos and Animal Companions.
Evos are basically space elfs, who started as genetically modified humans made to work as slaves in harsh planets and now are free, but considered lower class citizens.
Animal Companions are genetically modified animals who are made to be pets for rich nobles, but actually posses human like intelligence and can talk (and pilot mechas if needed).
This may not be the final version of the tables, warn me if you find any errors like repeated options.
>>49767739
With an odds result we are a lady. Now roll 2d6 for our race.
Rolled 6, 6 = 12 (2d6)
>>49767791
Can I get a mecha penis later on?
Rolled 2 (1d6)
>>49767684
For gender.
Rolled 5, 5 = 10 (2d6)
>>49767844
Guess I'm male.
Now for race
Rolled 1 (1d6)
>>49767856
Common human.
Now what homeland do I hail from?
OP what can you tell us about this game?
>>49767841
Not in random generation, but who knows.
With a 12 we are the most human we could be.
Next what we need are 2d6 for our home planet.
Rolled 6, 2 = 8 (2d6)
>>49767873
Hilt of the Saber.
Home planet is...
>>49767873
Home planets are at the bottom of the pdf.
Rolled 2, 2 = 4 (2d6)
>>49767882
Full Blooded Human Master Race Reporting in
Rolled 5, 1, 5 = 11 (3d6)
>>49767900
Bismarck
Time to see who I was excreted from. Family time.
>>49767909
With a four we are from the hilt of the Saber, and from Altona, the only planet in the whole Saber constellation to present signs of extraterrestrial life. We basically grew up playing in ancient alien mazes of unknown origin.
Rolled 3, 1 = 4 (2d6)
>>49767917
Sweet; I'm minor nobility. Great power and little responsibility. Son of a Baron. Speaking of my parentage I wonder what they are up to?
>>49767941
Almost forgot, next we need 3d6 to discover how noble was our family.
Rolled 3, 6 = 9 (2d6)
>>49767946
They are busy feeding the space worms in death it seems. Just how did they die...
Rolled 1, 2, 2 = 5 (3d6)
>>49767951
Cool about the ayyliums
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>49767962
Looks like they are just in hiding. Probably pissed off some other minor noble household.
>>49767975
With a 5 we are from the lower medium class. We don't live in a palace or get to eat lots of desserts, but at least we have a roof and 3 meals a day. Better than a lot of people. Our only toy is probably the alien ruins though.
Next, let's talk about parents. Roll 2d6 to decide their fate.
Rolled 4, 4 = 8 (2d6)
>>49768007
>>49768026
Looks like mom and dad are still alive for now. With an 8 we narrowly avoided their death. But lets talk siblings now. Roll 1d6 to determine if we have siblings and how many.
Rolled 3 (1d6)
>>49768068
>>49768073
Look at that, we have a sibling! Now we need 3d6, first one for gender, second for age and third for what they think about us.
Rolled 3, 6, 3 = 12 (3d6)
>>49768091
>>49768105
Look at that, we have a younger sister. However, we are not really close, we brush against each other during our daily life but we are overall indifferent to each other.
And now we need to roll 1d6, on an even result, everything is fine, odds means its family crisis time.
Rolled 3 (1d6)
>>49768146
>>49768199
Oh no! It's Family Crisis Time! How could this happen? What Happened? Roll 2d6 to discover.
Rolled 5, 6 = 11 (2d6)
>>49768221
>>49768253
Oh no, we lost our whole family in the war! Damn Noble and their petty squabbles, its our blood that pay for their battles!
This whole incident has given us an objective, a focus. We only need 1d6 to discover what it is.
Rolled 3 (1d6)
>>49768278
Can it be justice?
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>49768278
>>49768292
Yes, we shall hunt the ones responsible and make they pay! They will forever fear our names, for we shall hunt them down!
And we are (probably) not alone! Roll 1d6 to see if we have any friends in our journey.
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>49768342
>>49768362
Wow, look at that. Someone was really popular growing up. We have three good friends.
I will need three rolls of 3d6, one for each friend. The first dice is gender, the other two is their relationship with us.
Rolled 5, 2, 4 = 11 (3d6)
>>49768398
Rolled 6, 1, 2 = 9 (3d6)
>>49768398
Friend 2
Rolled 3, 3, 2 = 8 (3d6)
>>49768398
>>49768415
Our first friend is a girl, someone we met at school. Perhaps forbidden lo- no, no way. Right? Right?
>>49768438
Second friend is a guy, a childhood friend of ours, maybe someone we dragged into our alien maze spelunkings.
>>49768461
Our third and last friend is also a girl and also a childhood friend of ours. Maybe we were a trio when young? Who knows.
Next we need to talk about enemies. Roll 1d6. Even means we have an enemy, someone who is actively trying to get in our way, odds we are safe for now.
Rolled 3 (1d6)
>>49768492
Rolled 6 (1d6)
>>49768492
>>49768501
Alright, it seems the ones who were behind the death of our parents don't yet know what is coming for them. But that shall change soon.
But while we the time does not come for our revenge, what about love? Roll 1d6 to decide if we are in a relationship.
Rolled 1 (1d6)
>>49768539
Rolled 4 (1d6)
>>49768539
Let the waifuing begin.
>>49768562
Look at that we are in a relationship after all. Unfortunately, things are not always as we want. Roll 2d6 to see how the relationship is going.
Rolled 6, 6 = 12 (2d6)
>>49768596
>>49768607
Oh. Everything is fine for now. No need to worry. None at all. You lucky bastard.
Moving on.
We need 3 sets of 2d6. First one decides eye color, second one hair style, third one hair color.
Rolled 1, 2 = 3 (2d6)
>>49768628
>>49768637
Looks like we have blue eyes. Good for us!
Rolled 4, 3 = 7 (2d6)
>>49768628
>>49768723
Well, we have straight short hair. Looks like we just need the roll for hair color and we can go on to the last four rolls.
Rolled 6, 2 = 8 (2d6)
>>49768628
>>49769143
With an 8 we have brown hair.
Next, we need 2d6 for our personality.
Rolled 3, 2 = 5 (2d6)
>>49769320
>>49769452
With a five we are arrogant and prideful. Maybe we think we are superior because we worked for what we have different from those nobles? Who knows?
Next we need 2d6 to decide what is most important for us.
>>49769683
dice+2d6
Rolled 5, 1 = 6 (2d6)

Rolled 6, 6 = 12 (2d6)
>>49771297
A gun is my most precious belonging.
>>49771340
My most valuable relationship is with my parents.
>>49770944
So there we are:
A prettyboy don and heir to his father's comital title on the politically unstable planet of Fort Martim. My eldest sister has no time for me, as the eldest daughter of a noble house she spends most of her time being groomed to find a husband with the right social status, while my twin brother and younger sister find me quite amicable.
My closest companion is another fledgling heir I've known since childhood. In recent years I've begun courting his younger sister and, while my love for her is like the very air I breathe, I've been having doubts lately about her fidelity.
I value my relationship with my parents, especially my father, above all others. I look to their regal baring as an inspiration for my future ascent into the aristocracy. When I came of age my father took me on my first hunt, gifting me a superbly crafted rifle; this is a gift I still cherish to this day.
