Because the colors also have a morality aspect, since what color you are also has an aspect of your motivations and stuff. Like, say there's a puppy there, and you decide to adopt it. Did you do so because there's a law saying all puppies must be adopted? You're white. Because it looked fluffy? That's a red action. Becasue you want it? Black. Because you want to make a study of dogs? Blue. Because it's an animal and thus better than those filthy humans and their civilization, and besides, you're not adopting it, you're teaching it to be a mighty hunter!? green. Etc.

As for specific spells:
Blue is the only one who flings around counterspells. Black tends to do sacrifice, life drain, unconditionally kill chosen target (white kills in revenge, green uses creatures to kill, red kills with damage, blue just removes back to the summoner's hand), etc, and it's shtick is "anything, but at a price". Green has big creatures for lower prices. Red is the only one that does direct damage in the form of throwing around fire and lightning. White tends to throw around disabling spells that actively prevent creatures from attacking and stuff, and spams out crap-creatures which are then buffed by single, powerful, leaders, or have the single leaders buffed by the crap-creatures.

Of course, each color tends to borrow from it's "neighbors" and I'm not actually positive there's any unique mechanics, though I don't recall direct damage, kill arbitrary target, or counterspell ever really showing up in any but their 'home' colors.

Not the author but the answer seems obvious to me. The horse while appealing in some respects was simply not worthwhile for an incarnate, and certainly not worth being a gold option. It was fundamentally a transportation option and we have much better options available including spaceships, teleportation, godgates, magic trains, and most importantly we can perfectly mimic it if we take flight 3 and speed 3. As the build posted mentioned most of us are going to take speed 3 anyway because fighting a faster incarnate is a bad idea. It could probably be brought back but it is not worth a companion slot. I would make it an item priced at 8 prismatic shards, and let me tell you I would never buy it.

No problem on my part, but at level 4 you can transfer powers from one fiction to another anyway, so there is no need to go all inception.
The powers here may be good, but there are more fun powers elsewhere, and working within limitations can often be more enjoyable, so lesser but more fun powers would be my suggestion.

Going galaxy size is fine for Fictionland, but most of the world just won't get generated. The Star Trek episode 'Ship in a Bottle' covers it quite quite well; unless you know about it you won't notice it.
