How do your other colors look. A tune with aether is a good card and it has some uses. I feel though running and the prisms is a lot

In addition 12 creatures feels on the low end, your curve is more aggro but 12 creatures feels more control.

So, Naya or abzan?

Went to my first Booster Draft, it went pretty well. This guy got a fucking Smuggler's Copter, but I guess he had bad karma since he didn't win jackshit. I didn't pull any good valuable cards either. Made a pretty terrible Gruul Deck. Surprised with how much good use I got out of Voltaic Brawler since I didn't really had any Energy Generating Cards but I seem to always get him or my Architect of the Untamed when I'm just at 5 Energy or something. My early plan to draft was getting a bunch of Fabricate Greens also fell thru which gave me basically a bunch of shitty no use elephants. I probably would have lost a lot if i didn't draft with other complete amateurs, some were drafting 3 colors and didn't realize it, some guy (the guy who drew the Copter) even forgot to put in lands. Splashed Red because Menace was actually pretty useful if you put it on a Narnam Cobra and I wanted that Artifact/Enchantment Removal.

How can I make Aethersquall Ancient work in a FNM deck?
UG seems to be the only way to be able to get it out in time, but it feels like it lacks the tools to stay alive long enough against all the aggro decks flying around. Monoblue won't work anymore with origins rotating out.

So I absolutely love the new Nissa in standard. I played it in a u/g deck with whatever scraps of ramp that are left in standard. Her plus works swimmingly with sylvan advocate and lumbering falls pulls some weight as well. Tried it in an energy shell but am retooling it to be like the u/g deck last season. Gonna try using this gem or maybe embodiment of insight. I just wish u/g had more maindeckable options for this copter bullshit.

As far as the energy version, bristling hydra pulled some serious weight if you could keep up his energy consumption. Aethersquall Ancient was lackluster. I may try building a grindy midrange energy deck in the future with the hydra. Not a fan of the g/r aggro one.

Hate to break it to you, but if you check gatherer you'll see that the ruling is each courier has it's own specific stock of exiled cards. Whenever a card refers to itself by name it refers specifically to itself and not any other cards with the same name. It would only work like you described if the ability was worded like the cards from the recent conspiracy set, see pic related for an example and compare the wording to Bomat Courier's ability.

Dies to removal. Better off with Crush of Tentacles. Also, ancient can't normally hit vehicles unless they for some reason crew them on your turn. Also, while hitting 8 energy is easy, keeping it up enough to use it consistently is a pain really. If you use too many energy payoff cards, he's hard to use consistently and if you don't use enough, you end up generating too much energy and generally just durdling when you don't have him or the mana to cast him in hand. I haven't tried him in a marvel deck, but I did try him in different U/x energy decks.

I have a hard time believing this. I haven't opened even a single smugglers copter, but I have opened a full playset of and multiple copies of shitty bulk rares such as authority of consuls and lost legacy.

The tap down is good, its would be the only source of artifacts in the deck and Niblis provides an immediate 3/3 body at the very least.
