I have seen many space marine, imperial guard, chaos space marine creation threads around here. But nothing for some good ol' traitor guard. So here we go.

>>49650357

Yu'vath/Legacy of the Yu'vath/Rak'gol
From Lexicanum: The Yu'vath were a Warp-worshipping xenos species, who built an empire of corrupted humans[2], and were defeated in the Angevin Crusade, together with the Bale Childer, after the homeworlds of both species were destroyed by Exterminatus.
So I guess we are fighting what's left of them?
>>49650375
We could just fight the Rak'goul instead.
>>49650401
Sure. Now let's write some fluff for these guys

What if we are a traitor breakaway of them
A lost regiment that while fighting with the Rak'Gol suffered catastrophic loss. On the verge of defeat they are saved by an unlikely savior, a Chaos Warband of Space Marin. With their help they defeated the Rak'Gol and converted to Chaos. Despite this however, their goal is still the same as their loyalist counterpart.

I like it
Moar?!
But how do we fit the Stunties in this?
>>49653420
>Stunties
The what now?
>>49650263
>>49650843
>unorthodox beliefs
The "loyalists" are the true traitors. They've betrayed the Emperor, keeping him imprisoned in a rotting corpse, preventing him from achieving his destiny as a Warp God. Countless psykers are sacrificed to keep the Emperor imprisoned in his golden cage, while the Astartes Lords rule humanity as a slave race.
With the aid of the chaos gods, we will rescue their brother and our Emperor. We will kill the Emperor, and set him free. In doing so, we will free humanity
>>49655469
If we're going for that than I suggest that the reason why they favor abhuman recruitment is because they saw them as product of the warp i.e most blessed by the warp. And they are angry at the Imperium's discrimination against them.
>>49658345
Good call. Abhumans & Psykers are evolution slandered as mutation, culled by the Astartes Lords & their Inquisition dogs to keep the slave race static.
