A thread dedicated to hardass holy warriors who are always 45 and grumpy. Keep your edgy renegade shit away from here
What's the best paladin weapon and why is it the hammer?
>not crushing the skulls of the wicked like the judge's gavel sentencing doom

Because evil must not be simply felled, it must be smashed and obliterated from the face of the earth.
For a slightly more symbolic reason, the only application of a sword is warfare, and axes look rather barbaric, while a hammer can symbolize the paladin's desire to bring order and prosperity, being a tool of masons.

A buddy played a paladin that only used a shield because of this. Less captain america and more grappling shenanigans with shield bashes thrown in.
I could see using a staff or spear for similar reasons, or toss in more magic and weird and have a giant light up laser hand or the like.
Weirdest weapon for a paladin you've seen?I know someone has the bucket paladin screencap, I've lost mine

Can I join too?

Does anyone like to run their Paladins like more down to/ salt of the earth Magical girls? because I do.

>Captain America fighter
This is fucking cool! It should be used more in homebrew.

I'm a big fan of rural paladins, who look like they're armored/armed with whatever happened to be available on their family farm. I feel it makes them seem more genuine in purpose than the dude wearing gold armor wielding a gem-encrusted sword.
Also pictured: paladin among paladins.

It basically was. 4E, the DM let him patch together all the cool brawler fighter shenanigans, the annoying shield shove powers, and tossed the whole salad in paladin sauce.

Even better, buddy cop pair. Down-to-earth farmer's fifth son thwacking things with a knobbly nailbat (with holy symbol hastily attached) and dispensing rural wisdom paired up with an effete nobleman trained in philosophy, swordplay, and manners.
Start out with them still in church militant boot camp, having to get along to survive.

Your pic should've been a cute and kinky female paladin showing some curves to represent majority of paladins on /tg/ correctly
>>49587329
Nah, it's an edgy SMITE ALL THE EVIL "realistic" martial. That's prime /tg/ m8
>>49587329
You think I have time to look "cute" when there's evil to slay and villagers to free?
Also, kinkiness becomes more annoying than anything after the 100th pleasure demon hits on you before you kill it.

80% of /tg/ paladins are young girls with T&A who turn into sex beasts in bed
