I didn't know what else to put for the image

Just remove the T bit and play Netrunner. Easily a more fun experience than MTG or YuGiOh. It helps that the cards don't cost a million dollars.

I more-or-less agree with >>49570089. Not necessarily about Netrunner (never played it) but card games built around blind boosters are a tremendous pain in the ass and in the end cost a too much.

I suppose that is true. Thanks!

I'll check it out, thanks a bunch

Or you can just... Buy singles... Or draft and have the randomness be the main part of the format... Or go into pauper...
I like mtg a lot, but I have to say the basic game is much better than the commercial entity that is WOTC.
There isn't a format where the competitive decks cost less than about $600, and in the older formats they range even higher. So my suggestion is build a cube with a budget restriction, say under $5 a card.
That way you can play casually with friends, without participating in an ever escalating arms race.
Or you can play budget EDH with friends, and set a max budget either for the deck or per card. Or play scribble ante, where the winner gets to write/draw in sharpie on one of the loser's cards (basically has a similar effect as budget restrictions)

Or I can buy a more cohesive game that I don't have to spend that much time or effort on just to have it function the way I want to.
Yeah, I think I'll continue doing that.

Ok have fun over there alone, anon
(Although to be honest, net runner does seems pretty sweet. I was just more concerned in defending TCGs, rather than bringing down CGs. I have no beef with net runner, and I do hope that it gets the recognition it deserves).
