I need random tables for character background/destiny/story

Why don't we make one? We'll post simple backgrounds to fill a D100 table.
1: Apprenticed to a blacksmith.
2: Cursed by a witch.
3: Grew up on the streets.
4: Ran away and joined the circus.
5: Raised by the clergy.
6: Born into a family of merchants.
7: Grew up on the farm.
8: Kidnapped by goblins.
9: Orphaned by war.
10: Created by a mad scientist.
Once you've got enough you should be able to fill in a table and trim out the ones you dislike.

Destiny could be a separate table, though it might be more interesting to put it all together and simply roll two/three times for results.

6: Chosen by the gods.
7: Favored by the trickster.

90: Spins elaborate tales about the tragedy that befell their hometown; in truth they left because their tall tales kept getting them in trouble.
