I was never arguing about how the bless rules work. I was arguing about why Harold decided to invade over not getting a bonus. I didn't even consider it an OOC argument until you started bringing up the behavior of popes in past games. I'd have thought the arguments about Catholic brotherhood would've made that obvious.

i was trying to find balance in the map with Harold
we had 4 catholics and two non catholics
some in catholic fighting was needed or it would be an even boring game. so i used the lack of blessing thing as a reason to invade you to make things interesting (all the while planning to eventually go pagan like i was with prussia at the beginning of the game before going norway)... 4v2 isnt fun and that is part of what OP is supposed to do is balance things out when needed
