So what is the end-game of the Tyrannids?
>>49429060
Eat themselves to death.
>>49429060
Eat everything, move to next galaxy, rinse and repeat.
>>49429060
Big BiomASS
>>49429060
>Step one: infiltration
>Step two: invasion
>Step three: ingestion
>Step four: profit
Eat everything and move on to the next galaxy.
>>49429607
Are we really not doing the ??? step anymore?
>>49429060
The destruction of the white race
>>49429673
There's no mystery involved in their plans.
>>49429673
They ate the ???: step
>>49429757
>>49429060
Eat, survive, adapt, repeat.
But if we're talking super long term..
I guess some kind of biological singularity, where they become so amazingly perfect that they'll be able to do stuff and have such desires and intentions that are so far beyond what current tyranid neural networks can comprehend that they cannot even begin to predict what would occur.
Sort of like what the Emperor wanted of humanity. But more eating, chitin and hiveminds.
>>49429596
>>49429060
What is the purpose of Life itself?
>>49429911
draw dinosaur porn
>>49429800
On a related subject, do Tyranids absorb the negative traits of species they consume?
>>49429911
>>49430008
Write dinosaur, military vehicle, and peanut butter snuff porn.
>>49430128
>>49430008
Good thing the nids didn't develop written language
>>49430113
I.. guess so? They probably absorb the capability to use those traits. They just don't bother with actually using them.
Makes you wonder if they bother to remember all the genetic tricks they picked up, or if they forgot some for being too situational or just useless.
>>49430820
Yet
>vulkan lives
>fights the tyranids and wipes out whole swarms on his own
>dies a few times but respawns anyways
>tyranids consume his DNA and find a way to incorporate his powers into their race
how fucked is everyone if this happens?
>>49429060
>Eat the galaxy
>Move on to new galaxy
>Eat that galaxy
>Repeat
>>49430994
As I understand his powers they're basically extreme resistance to fire/heat and reviving, so pretty fucked unless they go full retard and just start endlessly eating themselves since they just respawn or forget about devouring everything and focus on building shit or something
>>49429060
Something like this. But with galaxies instead of kibble.
They're a force of nature so to speak, so to exist.
>>49429060
What is the end-game of Fire Ants?
>>49431566
Profit.
>>49430113
If an organism is bred with negative traits the hive mind just stops making it. It doesn't just spit out nids at random, it breeds each one for whatever it needs at the time. Once a nid has served its role it gets reabsorbed into the biomass.
>>49430851
They keep everything. I'm sure there was some fluff about a trait the Hive Mind though was useless then it turned out they needed it in a specfic instance for winning a battle.
I might be imagining that though.
>>49430113
I'd assume they just don't use those traits, but iirc there was a hive fleet that got some sort of infection from picking up a defective genestealer, so who knows.
>>49429060
there's none, they won't stop growing and adapting to grow more
>>49429060
To survive
>Eat a galaxy
>Move onto the next
>Repeat
By time they make it full circle back to galaxy number 1 life will probably have flourished and regrown again.
>>49431566
To bite your dick.
>>49429060
cultivation of mass
they have severe muscle dysphoria
gotta eat big to get big bro
>>49430128
So T.Rex on Abrams Tank with peanut butter lube?
>>49431038
>Each piece of kibble is an entire galaxy.
By the Emperor!
This reminds me of a sketch from duckman where the protagonist is questioning a capitalist on what his plans for the future are.
"So you did it to make more money. What are you gonna do with that money?"
"Make more money."
"And when you've made THAT money?"
"Make more money."
"And when you've made THAT MONEY?"
"Make more money."
Never getting a good 'dex again.
