I got dosh and want to try a new game. I like wild wild west and shit so I was thinking of buying Deadlands or Deadlands reloaded. Which is better?

Reloaded works on Savage Worlds, and is a pretty sleak system.
Meaning some bits and bobs have been slimmed down you might want in their original glory, but it also flows much more easily.
Reloading and fanning are stupidly powerful in reload, because of the reload speed for guns.
If you can handle the mali, you can easily out-shoot a gatling gun while fanning.
But all in all I prefer Reloaded.

I second Reloaded.
Once you get the hang of it you can try out some of the many, many Savage Worlds products if they suit your settings taste.
Are any of the older splats worth buying? like North and South. Also, how fun is hucksters? I want to roll an india indian/oriental mystic
If you guys want some books for Deadlands Reloaded (or Savage Worlds in general), I have em here in the Savage Worlds folder:

I'm really partial to SW so I'd rec DLR over the older one - SW is more or less (sorta) built off of Deadlands anyways.
Thank you scholarly gent! Have a nice spooder lady for your trouble!

I love the setting, I strongly urge you to play Classic. Also, can I play?
I don't have a gm and never gm-ed before so idk. I live in the dark dark corners of banjo city so its hard to get a group. I would other wise because I too love the idea of zombie cowboys and giant mecha spiders give me a giant throbbing erection.

Use Roll20, or any other online program. Isolation is no longer a problem only an excuse to hide the unwillingness to be a GM.
thats pretty kewl. thanks

I look forward to hearing about your train-top shoot-outs, horses with mechanical legs and Spaghetti Western references.

Oh man, I've been looking for PDFs forever. Sold my original copy of Deadlands a while ago, and couldn't find PDFs for so long.
if I do gm it'll probably involve lots cold civil war funtimes, undead aztec gods and insane european nobles/mad scientists
I prefer classic myself. Good place to start at least.

What in the shitting fuck, is this for real?
Anyhow, if you're not afraid of schlock-systems and find it acceptable to spend a few extra minutes on having a poker/western-feel at the gaming table, use the original vanilla rules. They're actually pretty fun.
It's not a 100% complete collection, but it's a good start...

The Quick and the Dead sourcebook is unavailable except in spanish. It was only made available in hardcover and no scans exist.
I do have an old copy stashed away though, and a borrowed scanner for another project...
