Hey /tg/, wanna read some fantasy eurocomics?
Percevan follows the adventure of a young knight in a fantasy version of the middle ages. It kinda reads like a geste or medieval tale.
Despite its cartoony looks it's pretty dark at times, especially in the later books. What begins as a fairytale setting becomes more corrupted and decrepit as time goes on.
Beginning of the first book:

Just for information, this is published by FFG, that started as a comic importer before switching to games with Twillight Imperium.

This one was interesting, but kinda weak. They really kinda gloss over how you go from performing a critical success and creating the most radical sword ever to becoming a dark lord of the undead, castle and all.

Brave Percevan ran away
Bravely ran away away
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled
Yes, brave Percevan turned about
And gallantly he chickened out

Not enough people who followed Madonna's fashion advice here, even though they got the capes.
>>49327787
I my opinion the series really picks up its pace with the Realm of Aslor, culminating with the Ainock arc (Emerald table).

I do storytime on /co/, but I find /tg/ more comfy most of the time.

Glad I came back early from my roleplaying session so I didn't have a hard time finding this thread
>>49327666
looks like cartoon Chronicles of the dark moon
>>49330608
It's better than the Chronicles. I mean yeah, the Chronicles have the sort if humor you can only get out of crushing your enemies under a rolling castle and the first four books or so have great art, but it's basically "Gary Stue does everything and is perfect." all the fucking time.
Percevan actually has to work for stuff and his resources basically suffice to survive. He can't even tap into the power of being FUCKING MAD the way Ardent can.
Man, Ardent's a riot. Shame that none of the later books have been translated to English.

You're a champ.
