Comic time?
Just read through this for the first time earlier today. You're doing the Emprah's work, anon.
>>49302924
The emperor protects. :)
>>49302784
Seen that image countless times on /tg/. Never knew there was a comic related to it. Thanks for sharing
I hate the space wolves.
>>49303310
It is something like 92 pages long. but pretty good especially for a fan comic. I am not sure but I think the artist's first language is spanish as some of the text reads slightly in improper english.
thanks OP, keep it up
>>49303330
It's ok, the space wolves hate you too.
>>49303330
What's to hate about the space wolves?
>>49303330
>>49303520Suffer not the furry filth
>>49303557
Nice. Shame they had to write all over it.
>>49303585
The guy has a Deviant art account with all the comics on it and lots of other art too.
Yeah! Thanks OP. Bonus points forsquats
>>49303431
>I am not sure but I think the artist's first language is spanish
Indeed
Is name is Nacho Fernandez and he is a minor comic artist.
You can find him on the net and on deviantart as "Nachomon"
Als pic since wolf an sister shouldn't hit image limit.
>>49303330
I loathe modern SW, but this comic shows them as the old vikings not as the new furries.
Is pretty good.
>>49303678
Modern space wolves are full of fur fagotry? Please explain.
>>49303619
Err ... ok? What does that mean for, "I think the conversations and monologue are crap."?
I'm really happy for the squats, this is awesome.
But why the cliche of the Grey Knights being the bad guys again?
>>49303809
If you want it without the writing than go to his site and go through the stuff without text.
I like the comic so i'm posting it.
>>49303815
The grey knight isn't a bad guy in this. just a dick.
>>49303893
Just saying, I'm reading it and never had a chance to read all of it. Thanks mate.
>>49303964
So wait, Grey Wolves are considered borderline heretic by the inquisition?
My knowledge of 40k is really minimal.
>>49303704
Wolf wolfity wolf wolf wolf!
The "furry" thing was hyperbolic, but from 5th edition they focused too much on the wolf thing.
Before, there was some theme and naming, but not thunderwolf cavalry or Canis Wolfborn.
That's cringeworthy.
>>49304009
The Space Wolves and the Inquisition don't really get along due to some differences over the issue of "purging imperial citizens by sterilizing them and putting them in labor camps cuz a war with demons happened on their planet."
>>49304010
You'll be happy to know Canis has been killed off.
>>49304036
Too little, too late.
>>49304010
Ok I need to stop at page 60. it is 2 am and I work early tomorrow.
Yeah the theme naming can get a little stupid over time. Sort of how the Klingons went from being space Russians, to warrior culture then devolved into Everyone is a viking warrior stereotype, in space.
One for the road.
>>49304092
Thanks OP
>>49304092
Damn it, I thought I would finally be able to read all of it. Do you have download link or something?
>>49304110
http://space-wolves-grey.blogspot.com/2011/02/wolf-sister.html
go to this site, click on page number 61 and keep reading.
Wolves and Sisters and Chaos and Eldar Oh my
Oh and Dorfs
>>49303704
Where are her legs?
Is... is he using her as a saddle?
>>49304129
Thanks
>>49303173
OK I wasn't expecting that twist
>>49303649
>>49303740
If Squats were brought back in this form, I'd play the shit out of them.
>>49304092
OP, just know, today you were not a faggot. Good job.
>>49303686
>scorpion tank
Fuck yes
>>49303722
Are the dorf things from something?
Because they are pretty amazing
>>49305972
Just google what happened to dwarves in 40k
That's a cringey comic.
>>49306014
>they brought back squats
Awesome
>>49307077
ur mom is cringi

>Entire world belongs to Slaanesh

why_tho.jpg
Yay my thread is still here, I'm at work right now but I hope it is still up when I get home so I can finish posting.
>>49307903
It mentions that they thought it was only minor chaos activity when they heard about it, but by the time they arrived, it had become a full-on Slaaneshi incursion.
Exterminatus was probably already on its way.
>>49307077
It honestly really is.
>>49307077
>>49308496
It does that Silver Age thing where it over-explains itself quite a lot.
Lot's of pretty grandiose stuff happens without much ceremony or build.
>>49306083
Since OP seems to be MIA.

>>49309960
better than tfw no more whf ever
Alright /tg/, what do you want as the next storytime?
I have some nice fantasy or sci-fi eurocomics, as well as a series about witchcraft in a monerd setting/
>>49310807
what kind of fantasy? If it's a darker tone of fantasy I am all for that, if not Sci Fi
>>49310807
>eurocomics
You got this in English?
>>49311242
dark fantasy
I got Royal Blood by Jodorowsky, it doesn't get any darker than that.
I got Percevan too, it's awesome, but I remember the first book being a tad inferior to the rest of the series. On the other hand it has a unique atmosphere and mythos, really reads like the geste of an heroic young knight.
Also Arawn, but I haven't read it.
Your pick. I'd recommend Percevan.
I have The Great power of the Chinkel, but I won't do this one before the week-end since I intend to sleep tonight.
>>49311250
Not in english, sorry.
>>49311910
My french is rusty, but I could probably manage.
I'm not asking you to post it, since I doubt anyone else would enjoy it, but it you remember where you got it from, that'd be really fucking nice of you.
>>49311910
I'll just take your recommendation because I don't know any of these, aside from the cover of royal blood
>>49311949
pastebin: Are3Kth4
>>49311910
Also Okko (for weeaboo fantasy) and Black Moon Chronicles (for antichrist power trip), but I'd have to download those first.
>>49312081
Here we go. I just noticed Percevan is published by FFG. Surprising, but it does makes it /tg/ related.

Chinkel ain't bad but I didn't find that good either. Arawn is kinda of edgy but not that cringy, plus very cool Art.
>>49313063
>>49303044
>damn, she's fast
>>49313112
>>49303330
everybody does
>>49313163
>>49313109
True. Chinkel was a big hit at the time, though, and is pretty representative of franco-belgian fantasy of that period, plus it has a couple original ideas. Thorgal, by the same authors, is much more refined IMO.
I like that comic, wandering knight and an entertainer against a lord with magician - reminds me a lot about warhammer fantasy roleplay, just needs a peasant reeking of piss.
>>49313205
>>49313271
>>49313218
Glad to see someone appreciating it.
I admit I stole a bunch of ideas from comics in my games. Like a Before Incal inspired Dark Heresy game.
>>49313295
also, I guess you had your peasant on page 31.

So, we've hit image limit, there's 7 pages left on the first tome, and I'll go to sleep soon.
Option 1: Create a new thread, finish this book, and hope that the thread stays bumped tomorrow so I can continue after work.
Option 2: Create a new thread tomorrow (around 16 o'clock UTC/GMT) and finish the storytime in one go.
>>49313443
>Hells Bells
>Maybe he should be a bard
I see what he did there
>>49313678
I won't be here that time tomorrow out of /tg/ reasons...
>>49313706
so if you did make a thread for this I'd be really happy, are already gone?
>>49313937
If we keep the thread alive, it shouldn't be too big of a problem. If nothing else the archive can be looked at.
>>49312515
I remember this, and damn if the fat peasant guy is the most unlikable sidekick i have ever read about.
>>49313571
>that fuckin shithead guard
Every goddamn time
>>49309185
Thank you anon. I was at work all day and couldn't post the last bit.
>>49312755
>4th case he's in.
>already bedded a woman.
Nice to have a hero that is virtuous without being pure and chaste, for once.
The first comic was good. A bit cringey, but good.
Also, fuck the Eldar.
>>49315251
Random human deviant starts hitting on Ying Kass, and Kass is having none of that shit.
Since this thread seems the most fitting I'll ask here
Does anyone remember the name of this one french comic about a school for the paranormal? The protagonists are a werewolf, a witch? and a tiefling/demon
I remember the werewolf living in a cave/tree, the witch coming from far east and the tiefling being adopted
I seriously never knew of this comic the whole sibling thing was meh but I guess it was alright
The Redeemer is the best 40k comic
>>49313678
I'm up for whatever works for you. I miss the old storytimes and this was nice.
