>So what do I watch/read/play to run X well?
Because separate threads for these questions live for 20 or less posts
So what is this, some kind of inspiration general?
And I ask for post-apocalypse inspo. Zombie one. Clearin' out the walkers, takin' back what dead overran, survivin' hunger and intraparty quarrels.

Zafehouse Diaries
I want my goblinoids to be wild, cruel, barbaric, but still not full WAAAGH.
I need sources on mongol and hunnu cultures.
Running a session where the party is hacking through the jungle looking for shelter, while an extremely large and intelligent canine press them from the forest, hit-and-run-like. Need ideas for stuff the wolf/environment can do to fuck their day.
Experienced DM, but tired of working in a vacuum, getting outside help to spice things up.
The shelter they find is a keep. It's being lived in by a known frenemy NPC, it'll be a treat to let them know where he lives. Anything else in there is up for discussion, and I've considered enchanted humans, some werewolves or otherwise magical wolves.
The large wolf has a pack of smaller, normal wolves. He can communicate with them, which makes them functionally more intelligent. He doesn't have thumbs, but can manipulate rope and stuff with his teeth and tongue.
I can either do it in deep winter where snow cakes everything or in the fall when minor hallucinogenics have saturated the air.

I need some inspiration for a Mesoamerican x Scandinavian setting. My knowledge is pretty one sided and I want the lore and look to be a little more equally blended

I've rarely played games in deep winter.
Do that.
