MOST of the perks work simultaneously: you have them and they all operate together, but some of them are optional.
I'll have to reword the optional ones as optional the next release since you're not the first Anon to be confused by this.

Example: The Undead Minion can be torn apart in order to create the Ghost & Skeleton Monster at a fraction of the cost, but at the expense of Obedience (obviously upset you fucked up their preserved forms). This is an Optional perk.
The other perks the Undead Minion has though are obligatory/passive/they're just there and they work and it all stacks.

If you see anything that doesn't make sense or is fucky- don't be shy about saying something.
I need as many people complaining vocally as possible so I can polish and perfect the piece!

That would be Second Life. For what it is in either scenario of the game or a real life version I'm fine with it. The character would be one of two I can still log into if I remembered either password. Being a cyberpunk vampire dominatrix or a cosplay thing. It'd likely be the former since it has more things.

Actually putting my money where my mouth is and trying to log on or search for either profile I can find them both. Managed to log into the cosplay profile but haven't forced the other. In a more natural scenario I would have kept forcing it until I got my good profile back first. Might do that.

It's a nice in-depth CYOA to be sure (props for big tits & harem feature), but I'm ass at understanding tile systems so it will take a while for me to make a build.

Questions though, are the food / income / materials from the tiles interchangeable with those from features, or are the tile ones only for minions / feature ones only for monsters (i.e. can you carry over food from a tile to buy a monster)? Related to this, can you buy features that support the minions that let you buy it? e.g. "This feature will give me enough income to buy this minion whose technology is necessary for said feature"?

Also for monsters, "danger" & "aggression" are a double-edged sword, yeah? They'll attack friendlies just as much as hostiles, it's only the obedience stat that prevents them from killing your other minions/monsters.

Lastly, I'm confused by the Homonculi "I am not a machine" perk - do you have to spend points on those 3 loyalty, can you spend 2 more points to get 5 loyalty, etc. As it stands, you can use that perk and then spend your 15 points to get a minion with 3 loyalty & 5 diligence / technology / magic, all for only 6 material (you don't need to feed them since you're already at cap for everything, assuming free will caps their loyalty at 3).

Yes, resources are accumulative and all stack together: Food, Income, Material, Tech, Magic, etc.. They all stack as their respective currencies and allow you to purchase whatever.

Correct. Most monsters are animals with no sense of morality, loyalty or obligation. Obedience is obedience to you and your minions- think of like how people sometimes own Tigers or Chimps and they can be friendly 90% of the time but still maul the odd person.

My hope is to develop my skills of telekinesis and mana usage in secret or in the confidence of some of my most trusted companions. I use the spaceship to explore the galaxy/universe immortally. I almost chose Personal Shield instead of telekinesis, but I figure that in battle an explosion is more than 25 tons of force and anything less would leave me capable of just shifting into a new healthy form as long as I wear a helmet. It was tempting to just go with telekinesis and forget about mana and the necessary book to the city, and get nine extra points, but mana should have practically limitless uses to become adept in with centuries of life easily at my disposal, and is too useful potentially. Besides, telekinesis is amazingly useful but does have a 50 ton limit.

You could do that. My inclination would be to have definite route progression. You need to do Route A to do Route B to do Route C. Make Route A a sort of bright story where everything is just pleasant high fantasy and you just spend time socializing and the war is won off screen. Route B splits off early where you decide that if you're here you're going to be royalty and take some responsibility, not just be a layabout. There might be a number of permutations according to your job. Route C questions the whole premise of why you were even summoned. Is your sister firing on all thrusters? Who did you use to be? Were you even her sister in the first place or is this some conspiracy?

Each one might favor some systems more than others, though as you progressed further you'd likely have to master more. New henchmen and spouses would become available in later routes as they became practical (like having an assassin henchman in the first route would not be relevant).

In Dungeon Overlord you play as a Creep; Creeps are creatures made out of the shadows cast by "Dark Crystals". Doing all the Art myself was also an immense challenge, but I'm confident that ultimately it was one that dramatically improved my artistic skills- I think it's pretty obvious which art is older vs newer.

They kind of are and they kind of aren't: Creeps are rather humorless and only live to protect the Dark Crystal that they crawled out of and to do the bidding of any Creep "aware" enough to start giving them orders. "Intelligent" Creeps though can get into all kinds of shenanigans.

Creeps can be quite horrifying though as since they don't need to eat, drink or breath they can just keep spawning as long as it's dark enough for shadow to be cast- it's why Dungeons are full of them and why when they eventually run out of room they come swarming out in massive numbers to scout for new Dark Crystal locations.

Poor wording on my part, but here's how it basically works:

Minions produce Tech & Magic, just like how Features & Tiles produce Food, Material & Income.

Minion Tech & Magic is accumulative like any other resource: the grand total of your minions Magic & Tech can be used to purchase/operate Features.

Take this Ruin Feature for example: in order to unlock it's worth you'd need 12 Magic and 12 Technology produced cumulatively by your minions.

I'm gonna have to re-word fish then I suppose. The Idea/sentiment behind fish is they're free/pay for themselves and only cost 1 Food: You buy them, put them in your flooded tiles or tiles with water and now their food stat activated.

I.E: Your flooded tile can only give x amount of food unless it has fish in it or otherwise it's just an empty hallway full of water.

Perks in short are "designed" to stack, yes.

That is actually mildly intended/how they're supposed to work: If every squad of humanoids gets their own private accompanying Homonculi to play with/keep them company they'll be pretty obedient/loyal.

It's maybe a little vague, but so far lets say you get a "small squad", like, each minion or monster you individual purchase in one "set" or something is enough to operate or fit inside 1 tile/room.
