I mean, Wizards is (was?) very inconsistent on how their character look depending on the artist. Original Tezzeret has light skin and hair, or so it would appear from the picture, although he has a large flat nose that could be perceived as African-looking.

In some reprint of the card (duel decks?) he looks Mediterranean, or at the very least a tanned white person with dreadlocks.

Wizards should just release the style guide for their main characters, the one that describes their clothing and general appearance, to stop with the speculation.

Sure, you could write you need to tap x shit for your 6/1 to attack and then have Casual Joe never realize that all those cards go well with pilots and he can make a deck around them.

Or you could do what WotC has done that help differentiate them from creatures by the fact that they're not always creatures. and should be treated more as throw-away buffs/transformations for your creatures.

There's a small difference between the two, one is ALWAYS a creature and the other is SOMETIMES a creature. Other than that, the second version is simply BETTER for formatting reasons.

Are you saying WotC should have printed all vehicles with an extra line of text or two like example one just because it triggers your autism?

They keyworded it because they knew they wanted to use the mechanic a lot, simple as that. Keywords don't ever really "add" anything, they just simplify a ton of rule text down to a word or two.
It's like you're bitching that they made the Armadillo Cloak wording into just 'Lifelink' to save space.
