Which is a more effective weapon, a zweihander or a claymore?

research claymore first

For what purpose?
Generally a zweihander is a much better anti-cavalry, anti-heavy armor weapon. A claymore is more of an infantry killer and a linebreaker.

It really depends on how many people are in the claymore's blast radius, desu

Also depends on how many pargons you put on it.

Vs. monsters that are somewhat larger than humans with natural armor.

Hard to say, still. A claymore might work, but a zweihander will cut better.
Depends:
>am I am cuck
Claymore
>i am a coward
Zweihander
But a claymore and a zweihander are the same thing. They both require two hands. That's like asking if a Bentley is better than a car.
Flamberge.
Claymore. It is shorter and it is closer to the longsword (not the D&D one, D&D weapon names are BS) than a true greatsword, or at least something in between. So, generally speaking, it is more versatile and adapted to varying combat situations, while greatsowrds like zweihander are very specialised weapons that can't do much outside of their main purpose (which is breaking pike formations), and looking intimidating (which is why their main use wasn't even said breaking pike formations, but purely decorational use as a weapon of royal guard)
Two different words for the same thing. Anyone that says different doesn't know shit.

Well a zweihander isn't bad for stabbing, but you can gank a whole squad of guys with a claymore.

This isn't even a question, you should feel ashamed for asking it.
Zweihander.
Chaos Zweihander +5.
Every single time.
