Noob here, looking for some advice on my Skaven team (BB2).

Sitting at about 1250 tv with 13 players, is it worth taking another Linerat? They're very fragile so it would help but is 14 players just too many when it come to TV bloat?

Also, currently for 1 thrower but are they really worth taking? It seems like the Gutter Runners can probably do the throwers job just as well, especially once levelled. I was considering cutting mine and getting a Linerat instead.

13 is a good number to stay at for bloat v backup. I would keep the thrower because he has sure hands but many coaches don't run thowers because GR are already ag4 and you get 4 of them. Another thing to consider is that if your storm vermin are not getting any TD, you are doing it wrong.

I just rolled doubles for my next skill.

Now usually it's a case of grabbing Dodge to stay upright, but for an ST5 guy, that is not making best use of his starting stats.

Also, you know how slow Nurgle warriors level up, and Dodge ain't exactly going to help with that.

So should I ignore the dubs? Take Tentacles? Take MBlow to win SPPs faster and get Tentacles/Guard? I would have an almost undefeatable wall as my Beast already has guard, too.

If you have an ideal build for this, post 'em.

Dodge means nothing if they have tackle. I just prefer sidestep to stand firm because i can choose push on an uphill block and mark potentially more pieces or just have a better postion going down then the square am in. Having sidstep makes sideline screens safer too.

It's also a good time to get into the tt because GW will be releasing a new boxset for the game for the first time in like 20 years or something. Which means there may be more boxsets to come.

If you're interested in joining the /tg/ league, we play using the fumbbl java client. We're between seasons right now, so you've got time to try and get comfortable with the rules and how the client works (check out this page: https://fumbbl.com/help:)

Besides the fumbbl client, there's a couple of mostly faithful video game adaptations by Cyanide. Definitely easier to get into just by virtue of nice accompanying visuals and less user-end load where rules are concerned, but your wargaming experience should serve you just fine for learning the rules.

Spectating other games on fumbbl is simple, you need to have an account on the site, and the "Games" page will show all currently active games. Just click the link for the number of spectators and it will load that match for you to watch live.

Can players gain traits for the duration of one game? Inducements do it.

The werewolf team could just have a special inducement that rolls the transform chance for every player and if it works, add +2 ma, claw, frenzy, regen to the player for the duration of the game like the sticky gloves or w/e inducement.

But the team itself is just boring as fuck with one positional.

Anyone got tips on how to play offence effectively?

I've been playing DEs lately and i just can't get the hang of it.

the normal game is i use my blitz to try and set up more blocks and hope CAS but generally maybe all i get is a stun. then it hits turn 4 and i gotta play more risky, which ends up in a pass attempt (with snake eyes of course)

I feel if i put mans down field, they turn into foul bait.


I've watched a few people playing DEs but they get their CASs or their first dodge isnt a 1 and don't burn RRs.

So how mad is everyone going to be when GW tweaks the team rosters up enough to force people to buy the new teams?

Like adding new positional players, or changing the numbers such as allowing high elves to have 3 blitzers instead of 2 and the like.

Because i have a lot of old metal teams and this is my biggest fear.

I have heard they are not touching the core system so i dont think they are going to screw that up. but im worried about the rosters getting played with.

How do I do this? I've heard Strip Ball advocated for Cage breaking, as well as guard. For the catchers, Side-Step feels pretty useful, but then again nobody on the team starts with a reroll skill.

They have ag 4 so ball handling is like an elf. Getting sure hands isnt terrible but aim for skills that make you hard to hurt and better at moving forward. Blizters have jump up so getting a killer in 2 skills is amazing and having GAS makes them your team MVPs.

The number in parenthesis compares the price of the star player against a generic that managed to get the same traits(exceptions being special/unique traits). It doesn't take into account the teams they're available for, and who is better where/when/why.

If it's 0% or smaller, you're getting equal or better value for your money.
