That's the issue with how WotC depicts black people.

It works when they wear what they would wear in that setting. They blend in well with townsfolk and as nobility, they need to wear the sort of garb that would compliment their skin tone and their hair, just as a white vampire does by wearing rich and dark red and blacks to match the red hair but contrast with the pallid flesh.
It doesn't work when they are forced into garb that's clearly designed for a white individual, leaving them looking out of place and poorly designed. Examples include Markov Dreadknight and as of late, Kaya.

I only ever read Barn Burning as an example of the Genre, as far as I can remember, but transplanting antebellum values of the South into a Magic setting sounds like it would get dangerously political very quickly. Examining the values of the South (or a facsimile of the South) with a critical eye and not having anything whatsoever to do with the big-S word seems like it would be almost missing part of the genre. I just threw Marchesa and all good white removal into my formely lead by Mogis "No creatures for anyone" deck which is just removal, draw and walkers.
Being the monarch in the colors of phyrexian arena, outpost siege and chandra pyromaster is ridiculously OP and I love our new poisonmilf overlord.

Love all the nonrare mana fixing in this set. Evolving Wilds, Opalline Unicorn, Lay of the Land, shimmering grotto, Explosive Vegetation, the green guy that lets everyone discard for a basic land, and all the basic landcycling. I can see myself playing 3-5 color goodstuff even without Sovereign's Realm. Hot damn I haven't been this hype to draft a set since ever, I think. Merfolk Looter and Coiling Oracle are in the set too, as is Voyaging Satyr. Woohoo!

I was mostly just using this to test the new site but I guess I'll post this here because I actually got into an argument with someone over this.

A card has a gold border if they're multi-colored.

Green cards generally have a green border, red have red, etc.

Something with more than 1 color has a gold border
