I realize most people don't play World in Flames, but just for a bit of context, up until 1942, the U.S. player draws 1 entry chit a turn, plus more that you get when people declare war or conquer crap: Getting 2 chits off the USE is like getting 2 free turns.

If he gets his gear up entry option (Something you need to do before you go to war) that's about 10 build points right there. For the cost of a measly build point, I almost guaranteed that Option 22 would be played 2 turns earlier, which nets him 20 BP in a little bit.

No, that pisses him off because he has to re-plan his builds.

I was going to say this. I'm autistic (though very high functioning, most people don't realize it until I say something) and yeah, I like having things neat and orderly; detailed plans, carefully documented proceedures; I think that's one of the things that draws me to science.

This is a legitimate style of playing though. The DM is asking questions about your character's past and actions, allowing you to flesh out your character in a way that is much less awkward than randomly turning to your party and telling them a story.
It also gives you some room to shape the world to your preferences. Maybe I prefer ghosts from the mythology of a certain culture, so I'll describe them in that way when the DM asks about them. Otherwise I would have been stuck with whatever the DM came up with, which I may not enjoy.
You're actually pretty lucky to have a DM that gives you that much agency over the world and your character. Most will just come up with whatever generic shit they can when questioned.

I have a That DM story from a femanon's perspective, if you're interested.

It was a few years ago, and we were playing as the inner circle of a small, tranquil kingdom with larger and more aggressive neighbours. I was playing an Enchantress, and part of my back story was that my character was the court mage's daughter and a confidante of the princess. Who was the cutest. The absolute best and cutest girl from her drills to her toes. I admit, I was crushing mad hard on this NPC.

So one night, during a mini session, I inform the DM I'm rolling to seduce. He says okay, and I roll a few times over the course of the conversation. Nothing below a 15, and ending on a 19. With that 19, I tell her I love her.

She smiles back and says "Charactername, I love you too. You're my best friend and I want you to be at my wedding." I tell her I didn't mean it like that, and kiss her, and she gets mad and shoves me away...then tells me she's having an affair with the stupid fucking Paladin based on a Souls character, a zero-effort trash PC.

My heart drops to the floor and she crushes it. The GM basically ignored all of my rolls but let me humiliate myself anyway for lulz because she's straight even though studies show women who aren't into women at all are a virtually nonexistent minority.

So I do what most of you SHOULD have done, I tell the DM to make me a villain, I'm quitting. Later I found out my PC died ignominiously at the party's hands. Whatever. Lesson learned, don't play with shitty DMs and people you don't know enough to trust.

I've heard another guy who is in the game that guy DM's tell me his suspicion that That Guy might actually have undiagnosed autism. I'm skeptical of this as halfway through the 2nd adventure arc we had a new player join who WAS clinically diagnosed as autistic and he was a pretty cool guy to have around. Played a Gank sniper that everyone thought was a droid for the longest time... good times...

But I digress, point is the theory was presented to me that he might be autistic but to this day I still don't know what his deal is. I'd rather not make a scene at my LGS over it.

Ask the GM, inquire with the party. More than likely you may want to compromise to half or less, however. Or communicate with them on what would be decent, and ask IC if you can do the shopping around for good prices. You don't have to be that kind of rogue, to be good at acquiring equipment after all.

Also when an idiot sees something they want, they will go to the end of the earth for it. At worst, ask the GM if effects from armor worn stack over eachother, or if it's only from the highest source that an effect would be had, maybe the fighter may just wear his scale armor underneath the plate.

At any rate, when I was in high school, my friends and I would prank each other all the time. Though none of us ever did something like this, it's only by dent of the technology not being widespread in the mid-90s. But in the same vein, I recall one of our friends (we'll call him G) had a crush on this girl (we'll call her A) at school,. As a prank, another friend in the group got his sister write a fake letter to G, pretending to be A, encouraging him to ask her out. You can pretty much guess how it ended. Laughs had all around, and G was no worse for wear.
