I've never subscribed, since only about 1 in 6 or 7 are of any interest and, thoiugh I bought them, it was only after I got a look-see. So, subscriptions actually cost more for relatively less of interest.

So what WD should have always been? Like they were before they cut content and bumped the price up to $10?

They're going to stop selling mini dex supplements and include them in WD as Chapter Approved armies like the old days?

Are they going to play actual games during their battle reports? Or are they just going to make sure the faction they're trying to sell looks as awesome as possible?

This. WD was already all of that in its golden age, but now it's a monthly sales flyer. I won't believe it's gone back to being good until I see it.

I've never subbed to white dwarf, old format or new, but I am now because of what they said about it.

They wanted to return to their roots of hobby articles and things like chapter approved, and the previews and showcases of new releases are moved to the Facebook page, which is awesome

Plus supposedly it will come with a few free minis, and this is a discount to what it normally costs for a year. So I am giving it a shot. If I liked it after the year then I'll renew it.

So my brother and I are going galaxies on a sub to try it out

I kind of wish it was seperate for aos and 40k. I have no interest in following 40k any longer and i'm sure the same applies vice versa. It used to be a cunt when it was a heavy issue of one or the other.
