Players wake up deep in a dungeon. They know each other, but not how they got there. One has a bite wound and theres a dead guy they all remember on the floor. They also here screaming receeding into a tunnel as a second friend is dragged away, unseen.

Turns out the place they decided to loot is stalked by a creepy dog-beast/angry ghost/unbound devil who is forgotten once you stop looking at it, along with the last 50 so hours. They are already 6 hours into the crawl, but don't know it.

My players wake up trapped in a 36 level elven tomb dungeon, attacked by bug druids under the nefarious leadership of the pirates.

There is another band of adventurers there that woke up too, and some of their members are dead next to them, they occasionally encounter them in fights on the way to the surface trying to get what they think is revenge for their fallen comrades.

somewhere along the line Anton Viktorovich the new checkov (rip) appears as a friendly spirit to guide them to freedom.
