40k Dawn of War: Dark Crusade - Chaos stronghold
http://vocaroo.com/i/s0Dn9UAMSwHg
I'm looking to practice my voice acting so I'll read just about anything.
Give this a shot. I believe the character in question is meant to be a devil-on-your-shoulder, if not Satan himself whispering in your ear. Take inspiration from that however you will.

I have a shitty mic
Well I do like the sound of my own writing. If anyone's interested could you read out pic related.
The context is the lines are spoken by a military operator character (pictured) who organizes missions for a mercenary company. Said company has recently found itself blackmailed into fighting for some shady factions.

Just gonna step out for the 40k fans here would you please read the intro page?

This please, with an absolutely manly and heroic tone.
GOod work OP, you're holding this shit aloft. I'll be coming in later on to voice shit
>>48668898
I'd say a solid 7/10. The monologue sounds more menacing in my head.
>>48670429
Thanks for reading.
Not bad, but you're reading it a bit too slowly and methodically. I can understand if it's because my sentences are too long or it's not properly formatted, but if that's not the case then it's a little on the slow side, don't pause so much between sentences.
>>48670578
Thanks, not bad considering you have a cold.
>>48670578
BTW nice improvisation at the end there. That's probably exactly what's going to happen.

You do a good malice but there is a lot of static.
I can't tell if it makes it better or worse.
>>48671714
Thanks, yeah sorry shit mic and I had it a little too high on my face but I was too lazy to rerecord it.

Heres some dialogue you could try. Give it your best noble-born voice.
Why? Is this some sort of attempt to fraternise?
Well, I won't stand for it.
Never mind me, you'd do well to worry a little more about yourself.
How you dress, how you carry yourself, I mean, who are you?
Are you anyone at all?
You'd do well to learn to not pry into people's personal affairs here at Temple Hall.
We're not all of us Richard Sonnac, we're not all fond of talking about ourselves.

If you're feeling up to the challenge, I would love to hear someone voice act some of the Secret World Lore pages.
Here's two of my favorites. If you want to do either one, that would be cool. Your choice.

Awesome, thanks. Especially liked the Fog.
Though, that's not how you pronounce the mouth in Kingsmouth and Innsmouth. It's more like muth.

First: the harsh reality of matter
the world is not for the sake of the community
We are forced to live
But sometimes it is enough to show that I told the truth
Thank you, it seems a thankless task, but to be honest, and narcissistic, our country is probably not what you want
Sometimes I have the feeling that I was wounded again in the near future.
I do not believe me, I never touched my soul, it is not necessary
I don't know who I am and what I am planning
I am a woman, of course, the perfect man
I am full of passion, I will die.
A lie is simple, easy
but I am only your voice, question, protest
I'm a man, I want you to know that in the dark I am.
I want to know how I started.
I have become a disaster. I have heard the wind, the wind... singing the tsunami. You can hear the sea forever.

Yes, thats better, thats definitly better.
I especially like the way you didnt get angry when you say "we're not all fond of talking about ourselves."
I have learnt much.
