Alright op, I'll bite.
This kinda shit makes me wish my group would branch out more.
"Other" is winning, broskis.

40k master race reporting.
Surprised to find Year Zero on this list yet GURPS need to go in via "other".
>>48654608
See linked thread in the OP. Nobody had mentioned GURPS at the time the thread was created. But, yeah, it's surprising nobody mentioned it in the other thread.
Bumpan'
Interesting poll participant breakdown:
Based Mid-West is based. What's up with the West? Nobody allowed to play RPGs anywhere near the Rockies? Or are they too redpilled to believe in polls?

Pic related.
Shit poll desu. Should have used poal.me instead.

>choosing the opimized free polling platform is serious business
>>48659294
Yes, let's add even more polls on various sites to make it even less confusing. strawpoll anyone?

>Savage Worlds is
>D&D isn't split up into editions
>FATAL is on the poll
You're right, this poll IS great.
>>48659613
I love Ars Magica but I have no idea why it was on the poll.
>>48659433
I'm guessing a few of those GURPS votes were in Texas.
>Eclipse Phase 0
>HERO 0
>Star Wars D6 0
>FATAL 1

If you read the OP, you would have noticed that the poll is based on the replies given in another thread.
>>48652474
Not nearly enough other to be useful.
>>48652474
heheheh!!
as of this post, my fave is in #3 spot!
then again, Other is so broad it won...my other favorite is in there
this pollmaker hasn't seen too many RPG's has he?
>>48652474
When you make a poll, and "none of the above" is the most common answer, I think you need to change your poll.
>>48659698
Voted.
Sorry I was too busy actually running Eclipse Phase to vote for it. Yes, it takes that much time and mental gymnastics to do it properly.
>>48663068
>>48664091
I have played about 40% of the listed games, Other has some more obscure games though. But I shoplifted the names straight of the thread linked in the OP.

This list makes me think about the RPG industry's greatest achievements, setting-wise.
D&D is a bit like a mish-mash of existing myths and things like Star Wars are existing IPs outside of RPGs.
But beyond that... modern vampirism? Cyberpunk/Fantasy fusion? Paranoia's satirical Alpha Complex? All based ideas originating in role-playing games, more or less.
