...funnily enough, I have the exact opposite problem. As of the latest build update, after Overlord I have picked up a fallen angel warrior that I want to turn into a wizard.

And like all OC companions, the first thing I'm going to do is have a big ol' philosophical interview to try and figure out if she always existed and the Benefactor just introduced us, or if she was created out of whole cloth to my specifications. I'm not sure which worries me more, really.

Okay, so they only get the magical stats part of Level 100. But they must get something since SB says they get as strong as you, and 10th rank magic requires Level 100.

I just combine it with the Gold Earring from Chrono Trigger and MP Haste from Kingdom Hearts. Gold Earring cuts it to only 1/4 of all my mana, MP Haste recovers somewhat less than all my Mana which is still more than 1/4th.

I thought he admitted he didn't know that much about Darksiders or SMT, and was just giving an educated guess. In the case of Darksiders it's mainly the Riders armed with Grand Abominations (which aren't available as a jump purchase, but which the Armageddon Blade is probably equal to) along with Archangels/Archdemons, while as for SMT-remember things weaker than the 1000CPers/Dormant Power-boosted options have Almighty attacks/Null effects. I'm certainly not convinced at all unless he cares to give a definitive statement on the matter than anything short of multiple NPCs-preferably a tag team of Albedo and Cocytus as the tanks while Demiurge, Aura and Mare play support and Shalltear does some hit-and-runs-could take down either those things from SMT or Darksiders.

Naruto on the other hand I can believe given Madara apparently almost died from being kicked hard enough, so I could see Sebas shredding him just with his bare fists in a straightorward punchout.

What relevance does the technique harming the user have on making Madara look worse for surviving it? And why is the Dimensional Slash necessarily as powerful? Now, it's not been said exactly how he'd do that but I take that to mean he has some scary martial arts skills0-which can include things like physical nullification and reflexive dodging-given the other two are, well, level 100 creatures of the night.

Everything we've seen from level 100 warriors in canon was curbstomps. Nothing you could pin any kind of maximum ability on.
The best you can do is look at the feats of Ainz, keep in mind that it's stated several times that he's not very good at combat as far as level 100s go and extrapolate.
Given the feats Ainz pulls off in canon that's a pretty good level of power. If it's not equal to or better than full power Madara then it's certainly not far behind.

Epic DnD levels are impressive if you're a caster- some of the time. Not if you're not. By the end of series most of the top tiers of Naruto are moving well into massively hypersonic speeds, unleashing and tanking country-moon busting attacks with relative ease and have a wide variety of hax (Of which Madara has the most bar none).

I get that Naruto is an unpopular series and that it's a thing to hate it, but at least give a cursory search into what you're talking about rather then assume everyone is just full of shit on the opposing side of the argument and that you're right.

Pretty much. It's questionable if even Ainz has gone all out yet, and he's the one we have the most data on among the Level 100 characters.
If you want to know if you can defeat setting X with Overlord power the best answer is "possibly", because we really haven't seen any hard limits from anyone. We know that casters are at least citybusters, but that's about it.

It's kind of annoying that we are seeing literal Madara Uchiha wank here, something that 4chan in general mocks constantly with that copy pasta.

To be serious I think the Anon-Formerly-Known-As-Anti-Spiral is thinking of World Break, an ability used by high level Warrior classes. It's a skill superior to the 10th Tier Magic, 'Reality Slash'. Reality Slash is assumed, yet to have any evidence other than the fact Ainz went straight to it, to ignore defenses, though recovery and regeneration was possible the attack did do damage.

Funny thing, for the longest time I mainly characterised ASA as having all my negative personality traits taken to the extreme, and then to their logical conclusion.

The landscape surrounding all that dust? He's picking up those meteors from across the land of ice, land of hot springs and parts of the land of lightning. No particular effort on his part and he went on to easily dominate the ensuing battle with Naruto and Sasuke and others in their strongest forms until Kaguya screws him over.

IC it's turned me into something of an emotional clusterfuck, and has actually made me less mature. Not being tied to anything and being able to get my way by threatening to throw a tantrum tends to do that. I just bowed out about halfway through Shippuden. That was about where I wasn't obsolete, but staying on par was starting to require actual effort.
There was like this period of two and a half years or so at the start of the jump where I was THE strongest, most bullshit hax ninja around, and I used that status to mess with people constantly.

Then as time went on and things got harder, I faded from view, and focused on indirect methods and science.
As the jump wore on robots and Beastmen started becoming a more common sight, along with research facilities.

Obito died not in a grand battle, but by millions of robots endlessly swarming him, replacing constantly. He destroyed SHITLOADS of them. Unholy shitloads. But every ninja falls to exhaustion eventually.
And gets devoured by ants.

Probably won't be in the notes. I don't like the idea of a jump requiring people to follow a link to an external site, and most of this is using the text in jump to show what you can take away from it.

S&S genre stuff is really heavy on evocative prose and whatnot, and I feel like trying to quantify it into hard numbers and whatnot only detracts from both the jump and the spirit of the genre. The gist of it is in there, and while I get that somebody might prefer something more concrete I'm not going to lessen the atmosphere of the jump because of it.

Compared to something like Worm where people are being given very specific tools and need a much better idea of what they're getting.

As far as the Naruto villains go, he's kinda smalltime, for all the hype. Which isn't totally his fault, so much as it's a sign of how totally stupid things get later on.

From what little I watched of the show, I want nothing to do with anyone there. And that's saying something. There's usually /someone/ from any series that I want to meet, chat with, Companion, ect. But Naruto? That can just stay over there for all I care.

Maybe I'll plop down my Song Tower and host some kind of training dungeon for the horrible people. Give anyone who makes it to the top a pat on the head and a boot out the door.

I suppose I should give a little exposition; it's meta-chuuni, I guess, that is starting to become true chuuni. It started from the general consideration of jump content to considering how a jumperself would act (I think an odd inclination towards a jumper that is best described as looking like a female Ranma in Solf. J. Kimblee's suit may have been the early warning). That soon became considering the jumper in jumpless settings, like Dangan Ronpa or Steins;Gate, and how they would cockblock the setting events or lowkey stop things breaking more than canon. This lead to difficulty with watching anime or what have you without self inserting; you have no idea how annoying it is trying to enjoy Psycho-Pass when your mind won't shut up about Jumper ex machina. This flowed into being full chuuni. It doesn't help that even before /jc/ when seeing my best friend going to school I would be discreet about joining him depending on mood. Now, I make seeing him an art form, with distance, visibility and audiability factored in and manupulated. Pettily chessmasting him, with all interaction going to keikaku. My thoughts around him turn to a postchain jumper with whimsy and yandereness in measure screwing with him. Thoughts of subtle levitation and changing eye colour, revealing powerlevel without being noticed. Hell, last time we met I was trying to stop texting while ominously muttering, seconds away from a impression of Hououin Kyoma. Finally getting him into /tg/shit probably didn't help, same with lurking here for ages despite never dabbling in it before getting him to GM. I realise as I write this that I'm pretty fucked up, but I was always a pretty fucked up person, just that /jc/ honed the autism and never let go. Funnily enough, this is despite not having been on here for months, as the thread is always dying when I search for it in the catalog.

Even funnier? Prototype chain aside, I've only statted 8 jumps and never fleshed out one.

I tried to give Naruto a second chance. It was still disappointing.
I started to read wikis and get into power-level discussions. And I regret it.
I learned that Doctor Who was actually one of the most powerful verses. Started watching it again.
I discovered that Magic the Gathering lore was actually pretty interesting. I might use it to run some Plasnescape game someday.

...hmm. Funny thing, eXceed has just the thing for that if you don't mind inflicting horrible agony on a vindictive fallen angel. You have all the Programmer stuff from SMT and Devil Survivor 1, right? Both variants of the Demon Summoning Program-and the version from DS2-would be a good start.

Anyway-Naruto was super early, Jump #47. Well within my party-like-there's-no-tommorow-to-ignore-the-horrible-things-I've-done phase.

So I was this raunchy, illliterate bloodthirsty asshole with a bunch of bounties and some basic time halting powers. I...did not make friends with my dysfunctional team so much as I terrorised them by giving them wedgies and occasionally turning into a kaiju to train with the giant mantis shrimps. Or obnoxiously singing the One Punch Man themesong whenever people tried to talk shit about Taijutsu.

And doing pushups and squat thrusts just, everywhere. All the time.

Surprisingly, I got on fine with Naruto. We bonded over the whole hated-by-random-people thing and worked out together; Rock Lee was cool too. I just shared a lot of blank stares with Sasuke because we had completely different coping mechanisms.

Actually, my secret sensei Orochimaru was one of the few other people I got along with, even though he kinda got too excited about the Geneforge and modern genetic engineering to train me regularly. He was so fascinated he gave up on being a proper villain altogether to try and figure out everything.

The less said about what happened after I first rescued Karin, the better. Suffice to say I suddenly became the village's best grappler because of...special training.

And we all kinda just wandered away from the village to go on a ninja splicing safari when shit got real, briefly dallied at a specific place and time to kidnap Black Zetsu and wandered some more until I ressurected a tree.

It does raise questions of what would happen to the Denarian in the meantime, though. Remember, when Uriel gave ALL of his Grace-that which made him an angel-to Michael he turned into a mortal human. There's no telling what that could mean for it-would it get ejected from the coin due to no longer being one of the Fallen, or just...squished? Either way, if possible it'd be a much better idea to try and carve off bits and pieces of the Grace (if that's even possible) than try and snag the whole chunk.

There's also the nature of Hellfire's (being an opposing force to Soulfire) whole focus on destruction stuff and the fact that the Denarians are actually empowered by causing suffering to humanity as a whole, although that's probably not a concern when you're already experimenting with fallen angels.

I have a homebrew setting, that I think is comprehensively explored enough to make into a jump, and I want you guys to try and convince me otherwise or demonstrate areas where it could be better defined. For a base level of explanation, the setting takes place in an inverse world where magic has retreated to, away from the natural world. This happened due to one ancient human civilization in particular using and abusing magic in such excess, that it caused the equivalent of a magic gravity well to form, into which all magic 'fell'. Magic works inline with the overlap between macro-cosmologies that creates our universe and exploiting them to preform work contrary to natural law. The three major macro-cosmologies and the practices that invoke them are as follows;

Yam - Kinetic, a dynamic, formless realm of 'Energy'.
Reminiscent of biological processes and emotion, usually invoked by torture, sacrifice, and through sympathetic response with biological systems.
Spontaneity and difficulty to control are common faults in the magic of Yam.

Eretz - Structured, a consistent, endless realm of 'Patterns'.
Reminiscent of mechanical processes and logic, invoked by ceremonies, rituals, and through sympathetic response with mechanical systems.
Complexity and difficulty to apply are common faults in the magic of Eretz.

Shamayim - Stagnant, a static, ageless realm of 'Spirit'.
Reminiscent of geological processes and ethical systems, cannot normally be invoked on its own by any means.
Rigidity and difficulty to adapt are common faults in the magic of Shamayim.

Players would usually be either Fallen from modern Earth or natives of the Inverse World.

Natural law is more regular the closer in proximity to something called a Landing, which are areas of land in the Inverse World where things that 'fall' from the Collapse Point end up landing, and the Collapse Point itself which is the passage through which the Inverse World and the natural one are connected.

Okay, honestly, I know very little about this setting. My plan is mostly to set myself up as a benevolent semi-divine god-king. As it's my understanding that this setting is mostly limited to things you'd find in real life medieval times (barring the occasional dragon or ice-zombie), I should have more than enough magic (especially healing magic) to do so.

That, on top of Priscilla's new perk and my Sword and Sorcery build should make toppling whoever's currently in charge and ruling for a couple of decades relatively doable.

IC it's made me realize that good and evil have absolutely no meaning. They're illusions created by the human condition and when taken out of the shimmering glamour of modern civilization and exposed to the real world break down with absolutely amazing celerity. The people who live there vary, but there are usually aggregations of people around the Landings due to it generally being safer there, and because Fallen, who are very important parts of the Inverse World's civilization's continued existence, can 'teleport' between Landings, making the various cities far more connected than they otherwise would be due to the danger of the areas between the Landings.

As I've mentioned several times now, I'm not the kind of person who likes to get into fights.
I don't really like hueg powar levels, and if we're doing something like that then something is very very wrong.

Of course, I like to play the villain. But I do it in kindof a tongue-in-cheek way. Lots of songs and sending monsters to fight the sentai team robot.
If I were actually caught in a real battle, while my immediate response is overwhelming force out of laziness, I like to think that if push came to shove I'd start fighting smarter, not harder.
