Impressive

It's impressive for a miniatures company, but it's pathetic for any other sort of major publicly traded corporation. Their entire net worth is less than many company's monthly profits.

They really need to branch out. Establish a media wing and milk 40k for all it's worth.

>8 million in pure profit after taking horrible losses from churning out WHFB and AoS garbage that doesn't sell
>8 million leftover after paying all the employees and expansions and debt
>less equity than assets meaning no debts to pay off
What's more hilarious is the people saying GW is going to die when they're making money despite how overpriced and crappy some of their shit is. They have enough money to keep going and THEN SOME. When they start making zero profit or taking losses instead of generating profit that's why you can laugh.
Not so bad for a company that's more protective of their IPs than Disney.
If they really wanted money they would make a Horus Heresy TV series or something like that.

Not to mention it's in pounds so it's around 11 million USD
You do realise every one at gw only cares about their own personal long built armys.

Not lately. HAve you seen the flood of 40k games out there?

They are not reaching their potential due to shockingly bad decisions. They are profitable, but it could and should be so much more.
The WHFB --> AoS transition was a huge blunder, whoever is responsible for planning the execution of that move should be removed from any future decision making processes.
They are also out of touch with the industry, and their customers. There are recent signs that they realize this, and are taking steps to improve that situation.
If they decide to turn 40k into a quality game instead of the clumsy and transparent cash machine it currently is - I think GW will recover and continue return to growth. If they are content to use 40k as a tool to manipulate brand addicts into giving them their money - GW will wither as the strength of their IP takes a nosedive.
A legion of dedicated fans and loyal customers was and is still the foundation of the company's success. If they throw that away in exchange for the bunch of fickle idiots that have replaced so many longtime fans, clubs, and hobbyists - then they will have to accept the future that brings.
>no-one noticing that those figures are 2 years old so anything you post is pointless speculation
